Food was excellent but was kept waiting about 40 minutes for the meal. They offered free desert without asking and apologized. The waitress was top not and the restaurant itself has some interesting features such as a glassed in kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. So all in all only a minor hiccup prevented a 5 star rating.

I host an event here for around 20 people and it was a very easy process, dietary restrictions were pretty easily met and the food was high-quality and the staff was very friendly.

I am not very familiar with organizing events however this restaurant made it very easy to set everything up and lead to an enjoyable experience not only for myself but for all of the guests as well.

This is a fancy restaurant so the cost and smaller portion sizes are offset by the quality and presentation of the food. I would not come here if you are finished however if you were looking for a nice meal and a good atmosphere than this would definitely be a good place.

Boyfriend and I ordered the chicken and waffles, and the roast chicken sandwich. The chicken and waffles were the best we've ever had, and I subbed home fries for their frites. The home fries were amazing as well. My sandwich was pretty good, but wish the bread was slightly more toasted. They have a bakery attached to the restaurant. We had the flour less chocolate cookie and the flour less brownie. Possibly the best cookie and brownie ever. Super rich and chocolatey.

Incredible, unique and welcoming atmosphere in a brilliantly converted space (originally part of the Bauer skate factory). Staff and service were outstanding and the food was excellent. Great variety available on the menu including a section catering to plant-based choices. (Bakery &Cafe counter on the way out a nice touch). Mahdis , Cindy and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating! Can t wait to come back!

Terrible Hospitality. We came up from NYC to visit my mom for the holidays. They wouldn't seat us because we didn't have a reservation. There were tons of tables available, the restaurant was only 40% full. We ended up sitting at the bar. There were at least fifteen tables that were empty for the entire time we were there. We will not be back.

Great for lunch and very central to Waterloo region. Plenty of parking including underground - free for up to 1 hours. Ok lunch but a bit pricier than other similar quality places. A bit dark in some areas of the seating locations and menus can be hard to read - don't forget your reading glasses. Pretty good overall. (Don't forget to call into Vincenzo deli right next door too - that is worth a visit).

It's a really great spot for a date. Dim lighting, fancy food and a semi-formal kind of ambiance. The food is decently priced, exactly what you would expect from a casual fine dining establishment. The dishes are beautifully plated and features interesting flavours. This is a place I'll come back maybe once a month for something special.

I've (somehow) never been to this location before. I've heard lots of great things over the years and I have to say that the experience did live up to the hype.

Downside? Parking is always a nightmare to visit Vincenzo's or anything with Bauer in the name. Solid dining experience but if you are looking for a "table cloth dinner" there are better choices.

Why do I love The Bauer Kitchen? Because quite frankly it's pretty top notch in terms of ambiance, flavours, and staff. The ambiance is very nice and refined, the perfect place to take someone on a date or hold a company dinner. The flavours are quite enjoyable and they go out of their way to ensure you can eat whatever they produce especially those with allergies and stomach ailments. The staff are very attentive and nice with a friendly smile and recommendation. I will definitely come back!

Was first time at this restorant when opened... vine glasses with lint stake tartar looked like graund beef in Sobyes and creme burle was served in metal dish as in Chinese all you can eat bistro.... horror food ... did not go in restorant for years and yesterday I was in vichencos and sow patio and gave it try... pizza was great... went there again tonight... vegan duck wings were to die for...... well my mediterinan themed salad was disaster..... fridge cold uncooked rice in big clamps.... I do understand bad thing do happens but this is attitude in place telling guest I just dont care... Serving lady was nice and polite.... for sure it will take years again to go there if ever... vegan meny is unreasonable overpriced.... add execusion..... look for another place to eat

Can be busy and noisy but always with an excellent vibe. Dishes are varied, creative and consistently delicious. The private room for parties is very nice with lots of space to mingle. The semi private area in the dining room is setup quite well with a large curtain to buffer noise. Big window give it an airy feel.

It's a nice and high class place in the area, therefore the price is highesr than your usual restaurants. But you're paying for good quality food! Their steaks are really good, absolutely delicious! However, their sangrias taste more like regular juice than a sangria. Their brunch menu is lovely and everything on the menu tastes amazing. If you like to have a very sweet and sugary breakfast, get the french toast. If you want something more savoury, then stick to eggs benedict or eggs and steak. And if you're feeling more like an adventures and mexican style breakfast, then I recommend the Huevos Rancheros! Overall, you will not be disappointed!

The food is overpriced for what they're offering. I had a $20 plate that consisted of less-than-a-potatoes worth of home fries, two eggs, some broken sausage bits, with diced tomatoes and cheese. This meal could easily go for a little over half the price at any other restaurant offering brunch. It would have been okay, however the food was not warm in some places and was obvious that it had been under a heat lamp for some time as the cheese was melted to the plate. The service was good and it's saving feature, the atmosphere, is fantastic. This restaurant is an interesting place to eat and good if you're out with friends looking for a place to have a couple craft drinks and share some stories, however is not a good place if you're looking for a legitimate fine dining experience.

My sisters and I came for brunch today. The food was delicious, and the beverages were also great. The service however was disappointing. My sisters arrived on time for the reservation, but I was running late. When I arrived, in front of the whole table she rudely told me I had kept them waiting. My sisters then told me that she also made an inappropriate comment while they were waiting for me (advised them how annoying it was to have friends keeping you waiting). When she cleared my sister s plate she called her out on not eating the healthiest part , the fruit. Our server (Ioana G.) seemed to be trying hard, but several comments she made throughout our visit were awkward and inappropriate.
