Marc came by our place in Airdrie to do our annual inspection today. What a super friendly, courteous gentleman! He did a great job and I took him up on his suggestion of putting in a sump pump back-up system. He worked quickly, efficiently and did a super job. We will definitely refer friends to this company if they have any needs for great work to be done. My only wish was that I could have had a "senior's discount" but it is still worth every cent for peace of mind. Kudos to a fantastic company.

Mom and I hired DLBS for a leaky basement at moms house in Mackenzie Towne, Calgary. DLBS installed interior weeping tile, sump pump and radon mitigation system.

DLBS checked the boxes of time (3 days) , cost (very reasonable) and quality (product, install, tidy and safe) = dry basement and no Radon !

The staff were professional and knowledgeable and their product lines are warranted. Mom and I recommend them.

Excellent service. Sales was pleasant and quote was thorough enough to proceed. The crew that came out to excavate, and install the interior and exterior basement systems was absolutely top notch - their work was neat and tidy, they showed up on time, and worked hard. To top it off, they (and all the folks involved) have to be the most pleasant contractors I've ever dealt with - and this is house #5 for us over the years! Thank you, Basement Systems. Doug Lacey's Basement Systems is top notch! we used them for Radon Mitigation and the process from the first call to their office to completion of the project was seamless. They call on their way to your scheduled appointment to let you know they are coming. They were punctual, knowledgeable, and in my humble opinion did quality work. The price is reasonable and they actually left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Kayla, Bruce and Paul were amazing, and I would highly recommend this company. Great work Doug Lacey's.

We reached out to Doug Lacey's due to concerns over some cracks in our ceiling. We quickly got a response back from Marcie to schedule a free inspection/ estimate with Gord. Everybody was very pleasant and professional, which made the whole process hassle free and efficient.

I thought I was being proactive and repairing what was a small water issue in a corner of my basement. Since basement system came out and did the encapsulating and new sump pump... I now have at least 2 inches of water across my whole basement with every spring thaw and heavy rain. And the only sump pump that even activates during the water egress is one that had preexisted before Basement systems did their work. I did contact expressing my great dissatisfaction but did not get a reply. I would never recommend them.

I contacted Basement Systems for a quote on a crack in my foundation. Eric was professional, on-time and gave me great advice on how to solve the problem. I will definitely recommend Basement Systems for any friends or family who have issues with their foundation.

Basement Systems fixed my water ingress issue last fall and unfortunately our basement leaked again this spring. I contacted them and they promptly sent someone out to fix it again, but we are still seeing water ingress through the membrane. They came back since to discuss next steps/options and the Sales Manager showed up with no PPE during a global pandemic, even though I had asked them to come prepared. We ll see what their next recommendation will be but as of right now, I m getting other building envelope professionals consultation and have no problem paying someone else to correct the issue. The band-aid solutions provided so far by Basement Systems has not addressed the rather basic water ingress problem in our home.
