They are local and friendly

For the ast 6 months I had issues with some of my devices (computer/ laptop etc..) they were able to fix the problem each time

The owner is friendly and they always have me smiling on my way back home

Very fast and courteous. They diagnosed the issue with my computer for free, since it turned out the whole motherboard was fried. They were helpful in giving me information to contact the manufacturer and get them to replace the faulty motherboard at a discount.

I had a self build issue where identifying the problem on my own would have required an insurmountable amount of time and effort swapping and testing parts in other PCs I had

My suspicion was motherboard but without knowing for sure, completely breaking down the computer, packaging up the motherboard, sending it back to Amazon, waiting for the return, not knowing for sure that was the issue, sounded like too much work.

They were able to identify within 24 hours that I did indeed was the motherboard. Amazon was able ship them a new motherboard and I was able to enjoy my new computer within days!

This was over two years ago, my computer still works amazingly!!

They fixed my computer! That is good news. They did it in a day and I am thankful that nothing was lost, no data to recover. I think it was a matter of me not having the disk from when I bought my laptop, but that is ok, I had no time to try to do the repair myself. I am pretty good and I have installed extra RAM and Memory, so I am not a novice.

What I was not impressed with was Jose at the front desk. Talk about BLAH I got the impression he was underwhelmed with his job. Not at all the type to have at the front desk. You could tell he had no customer service skill at all.

I had a wonderful experience with my screen repair. I had shattered it and they were able to fix no problem. They were pretty quick besides the fact being so busy. They also give fast free quotes so you could go in and ask for an estimate they have great prices! Very friendly and overall great service!

My Dell notebook wouldn't turn on and I was on business in No Cal. I spent $250 and it took three days to repair. I turned it on twice after that and it would start again (same problem). On my return to Irvine I took the computer who not only repaired it for $75 but they did it overnight!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars.... Oh I'm getting a full refund from the other company. Can't go wrong with Runner Boys.. I feel blessed to have found them and won't go anywhere should I need future work done!!!

Fearing the unknown as we transitioned from our old IT servicing company to Runnerboys, we quickly found ourselves transitioned, without any interruptions or undue burden. Their techs are courteous, Professional, and most important talented in so many areas.

We had found them after having a ransomware virus which our previous IT vendor didn't protect us from (No backups even though we paid for it for years). Runnerboys was able to remove the Ransomware and we got ALL our files back again. Yay for Runnerboys, Nay for previous IT Vendor (thought about giving them bad advertisement, but decided to move on)

Was having some problems with my Mac- after going to Apple store they told me my computer took a dump on it and would cost me about $800 to fix it (this is a 2013 Macbook Pro 15" which I paid about $2400)

After considering buying a new Macbook I decided to get a second opinion and found the Runnerboys. They diagnosed the computer in no time and told me it would cost less then half to get my computer going

They found out that my drive was going bad but I needed an SSD drive which make price jump pretty high.

They were fair and also honored a coupon I had with me so overall I'm happy I decided to get a second opinion

Beginning of the year is the busiest time for our office, We needed a new IT guy for our office after ours bailed out in the middle of a complicated project!

After shopping around to repair my Macbook, I found the Ruunerboys to have the best price/ customer service.

They are located pretty close to my work, and it took them 3 days to get the part needed and fixed it at the same day.

The owner provided me another place to repair my phone as well.

The owner explained to me how to check and fix my computer. He was extremely helpful and will be helping me make upgrades in the near future. Their customer service/support is the best I have ever seen and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to upgrade or repair. If it were possible to give a higher review I would.

Best place to take your computer for repair in Irvine. Came in it took them less then 3 hours to fix it. Got it back on the same day and was happy with a fair price. The tech was professional and knowledgeable. Will come back again!

I dropped my WD Passport and lost all my personal and work files. Freaking out, a family member recommended I go to Runnerboys. As a photographer backing up photos is critical to my business, when my server went down and it looked like I lost years of work I was devastated. I tried fixing it my self and order parts from eBay but it was waste of time money and added more grief.

These guys are great. Took in my computer to upgrade my cup and gpu. Did while I waited. Sure, I could have done it my self, but when your working on expensive upgrades it's better to leave it to the pros! Today was a major misunderstanding and misplacement of my Apple Charger. I was very upset and angry with the management with how they we re wasting on my time for a simple file transfer. Well, I can tell you after all the frustration I had with them.

They we re able to professionally transfer my computer, discount my services, and scrap my old laptop for recycling. The owner was polite, friendly, and understanding of my circumstance. 5-stars for the professionalism. Thank you.

I took my son s HP gaming pc that would not boot up. I tried to use my credit card benefit to fix it. They required to submit diagnosis after diagnosis from the repair shop. Runnerboys gladly did the diagnosis free of charge. The card company didn t honor the extended warranty after weeks of asking for all sorts of documents. My son was going crazy without his pc especially in this pandemic. I ended up buying another pc for him (not HP!) and picked up the broken pc. Runnerboy was sympathetic and advised to sell the parts as only the motherboard is bad. A few weeks later I got the check for 70% of what I had paid for the pc from the credit card company! All thanks to detailed diagnosis provided by Runnerboys. From now on I know which place to go to for all my computer needs. Having trustworthy mechanic and computer repair shop is priceless!

RunnerBoys repaired my computer hijacked by professional hackers who installed on my computer malicious external System Key. RunnerBoys removed expertly this System Key and returned my computer to its full health.

Had a bit of a communication issue at first. Turned out their phones and internet system was down unexpectedly. But once they came online they responded to my request for a quote and everything was handled promptly

I was in Irvine on a business trip. My laptop didn't boot after passing security at the airport and seemed like I lost my hard drive. Googled computer repair near by on my phone and found Runnerboys. I had them fix my laptop, all it took these guys was few hours to turn my laptop around. Two thumbs up Runnerboys

I have two high end laptops that I wanted a thermal repaste using liquid metal and called eldad to see if they could do this. He was optimistic and told me that if I could get him the liquid metal, that he would do this if it was possible. I brought the two laptops in, and that's when the trouble started.

The day after I dropped off two functioning laptops, one reportedly stopped turning on at all. They had no idea what caused this and ultimately ended up having to send it in to warranty repair because they could not fix it. Six days after they supposedly sent the laptop in to the repair center, I called to check on the status, and they had not received the laptop. Eldad did not know when it was sent, did not have the receipt for the FedEx package nor did he have a tracking number for the FedEx package. He essentially had no idea who sent thr package, when it was sent or where it was. I called the warranty department directly and was able to get a tracking number. It turns out the laptop was picked up by FedEx AFTER I called to check on it, so I was lied to that they had in fact sent it when they didn't for another week.

The second laptop was repasted but there was no improvement in the thermals, so I took it back in. Then this laptop also broke and eventually the display wouldn't display anything at all! I connected an external monitor and still nothing! This one also had to be sent in to warranty repair. After the nightmare sending in the first laptop, needless to say I sent this one in myself.

In summary, I didn't get the thermal repaste I originally took the two laptops in for, both of them broke, one was sent in a week after I was told it was sent in, and now I have been without two separate $3000 laptops for more than 2 weeks with no responsibility taken for the sloppiness of how this whole thing transpired.

If you need a hard drive recovered or drivers updated, then runnerboys is more than enough. For anything else, go somewhere else and save yourself the headache.
