This companies service is second to none. I bought 2 lamp fragile glass lamp shades from them on the Monday and by the Wednesday I had received my complete order. Even with a slight hitch in the process they even rang to advise that my order would be delivered the next day, and it was. Another company 4 weeks later has not even contacted me with regards to the same products required.

I would like to thank the team at the shop for their great advice and expertise on choosing the right light for my living room, and it deserves to be recognised.

Bad services i recieved wrong bulb while i ordered GLS dimmable, i call them the same day i sent email saying that the bulb is not dimmable is normal light bulb the invoice have different informations than the bulb itself.. I received a call after 2 3 weeks which is more than 7 days to return the product and i should return on my own fees.. I dont recommend buying online.... Is a mess they dont care about the customer.

AS you said you didn't receive from me any single email here is the answer from the support team :) look down Miss you have received the message and the invoice is showing that is Dimmable but not in the bulb box as it shows in english : STANDARD LIGHT. dont keep lying on people as we have proofs ;)

We have used Lampwise Limited for more than 1 years and have always found them to be extremely knowledgeable, attentive and helpful in selecting the lighting throughout our present and previous homes. They have a very good and extensive range of lights, are reasonably priced and although their stock may be limited the lights are delivered promptly, by the day Lampwise Limited state when placing an order with them. The lights they sell are of the highest quality and their after sales are second to none. We have no hesitation in promoting and recommending Lampwise Limited as the best lighting shop and shall continue to use them in the future.

Ordered out door lights back in April and did not open them and test until July. I emailed Lighting Direct to explain expecting the company to refuse an exchange. Lighting Direct emailed me back within a day to explain they did not store the light anymore and that they would refund in full within 3 days. Excellent customer service and no issues what so ever. Would use again !

Great addition to the neighborhood. I Got a few towels and a special screw driver. The staff helped me find a special screw driver that I couldn't find for assembling my new furniture.

BEWARE!!!

This shop charges 25% restocking fee if you decide to return a faulty poor quality item. They do not warn you when buying in store. Avoid this store and buy elsewhere online!!

We were shown lamps in a catalogue which they said they could order for us, they didn't mention anything about refund / delivery/ restocking Ts&Vs.

The lamp took months to arrive and when it did the base was broken and the hinges did not lock in place, meaning the lamp head would just fall downwards. For the money we paid it was really poor quality.

The lady in the store tried to initially convince us it was not broken, then tried to convince us we should let their electrician have a look at it. I explained I didn't want a lamp welded back together, the quality was so bad we could see it would constantly have issues.

The lamp colour finish was also different to what she had said it would be.

We just wanted a refund.

This is when we we're shocked to hear they keep 25% of what we paid as a re -stocking fee!!!

We are out of pocket without a lamp. Do not trust the people in this shop. Once they have your money they are ruthless!

AVOID AT ALL COST!

In all my years always had excellent service product knowledge , I constantly recommend John Lewis customers to Lampwise when we cannot fulfil their needs.

I ordered a light on line which arrived very quickly. I had the light installed and after about a month the light stopped working. I contacted Lampwise and explained my problem, very quickly and very professionally they sent out a new replacement light which is now installed and working perfectly.

The help and support Lampwise gave me was more than satisfactory, there are companies out there that just take your money and give no customer support, Lampwise are not one of them.

If you are thinking of replacing lights in your home, without any doubt I would recommend Lampwise, great products and fantastic customer support. 5 stars are not enough, I would have given them 10.

Having used this company for inside out outside lighting for over 3 years I cannot recommend them highly enough. The range is excellent and the quality superb, they are not over the top on pricing either. With superb service and extensive knowledge it is always a pleasure to deal with them.

Horrible experience. Wolf in sheeps clothing. Do not trust this company at all!! May give good service if the money is flowing in their direction but if you need to return something you will expose a deceptive wolf. Avoid like the plague.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE....AT ALL. I telephoned the store and spoke to a nice lady and explained why i was ringing, and was call was rudely cut off.. I then rang back to ask for PAM, and she was the one who answered. She was not very polite, and asked me why i hadn;t replied earlier to her regarding employment, i said that l had a family death and she was not helpful at all. VERY RUDE!!!!

Found this company after searching for a local lighting shop to source lots of lights for our new house.

Disappointing customer service. I needed a replacement part for a lamp I bought from them a couple of years ago and which they still have on display in the shop. Initially was told that their supplier didn't have any spares but I called the supplier who did have spares but told me to order through the retailer, which was fair enough. I then called Lampwise who then told me they no longer had an account with the supplier so couldn't help with the supply of the replacement part. End of story as far as Lampwise was concerned although they did offer 10% discount on the one they'd had on display in the shop for several years. I then called the supplier again, explained the situation and they agreed to supply direct to me. I now have the part and it's fitted but no thanks to Lampwise. I've bought several light fittings from them in recent years and the service has generally been poor in the sense that they always say that they will call you when the items are in the shop but in my case they never have. I've always had to call them. Also often delivery has taken longer than quoted. So unfortunately I won't be using Lampwise again.

I have been using The Lampwise Limited for many years now and their Customer Service is second to none, this company REALLY cares about it's customers. Best prices and fast delivery.

Shocking customer service - in reply to your question, there was no email saying you couldn't supply there was no phone call just an email saying it had been dispatched - I emailed to query there was no response(apparently you are behind on emails) not sure how this is good customer service. The refund has yet to be put in my account - you might note it is Christmas! There was also not much of an apology to be honest. So all in all I will stand by my comment of shocking service I am afraid.

Brilliant service with expert advice. And wow was allowed to touch and see quality.

Having gone to DIY and department stores in the past, I stumbled upon Lampwise by accident when passing through Stony Stratford. Had a look on their website and immediately my wife dismissed the usual places - the choice looked amazing and they looked to have fittings out of the ordinary.
The help the lady gave us was just amazing, asking us about our home and how things were positioned and the look we were trying to achieve. The choice was overwhelming but we managed, with her help, to narrow it down and settled on a range that fulfilled our requirements.
Be warned though - quality comes at a price. The fittings at Lampwise are of a high quality and, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
All told, we would recommend this shop to anybody who is looking for that touch of class in their home..

I purchased my lights from Lampwise, I did my research and their policy is never beaten on price and they did exactly that. No company could beat them on their price and the service was excellent.

What a gem of a place. I am so happy to have found them to re-wire an antique chandelier for my daughters room. They handled it with such precision and care even when it turned out to be a fairly complicated project. They completed it when they said and the pricing was very fair.
