STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLUB!!
Tried to play this morning, but was informed I would have to "share a cart with someone!"
I was stunned. In talking to the Cashier, he said (and this is a direct quote)
"you can't catch COVID from a Cart!" I said "the world is being told to stay 6 feet away from other people and wear a mask and YOU want me to sit shoulder to shoulder with a complete stranger for 4 hours???" Arizona is COVID disease central, why would you demand this of your customers?
He didn't care, I asked for my money back which I did get and left.

Have played here a couple of times on the 18 hole course and 4 or 5 times on the futures (par3) course.

The futures course is fabulous if you like executive courses or only have an hour and twenty minutes for a quick round. It is in great shape and the holes do offer some variety for such a short track.

The regular 18 hole course is a lot of fun and very forgiving of poor shots. If you are a mid handicap or higher I think this course is right up your alley. You won't be punished for hitting balls offline on most of the holes other than having to hit out of the desert sand.

I have played the main course with a couple of high handicap friends twice now and no one has lost a ball. Hit poor shots yes, lost a ball no.

The price is about right, I wish it was about 10 dollars cheaper as it's just not quite as groomed as a 70 dollar course should be, but I wouldn't call it overpriced either. My only knock on the course is the sand traps don't seem to have enough sand in them, getting under the ball sometimes can be a challenge.

Pace of play has been right on both times I've played it.

One of the best values in the Phoenix area. My first time on this course and it did not disappoint.
The course was in very good condition. Fairways are in great shape and very green
Desert rough can be tough and this is no exception. Definitely will play this course again.

I had a great first experience. Good amount of parking. Friendly shop, busy cafe but managed. The course was in perfect condition and had challenging holes. I loved that there wasn't a single house on the whole course which took some stress off. Can't wait to play again.

Very nice course. I only give them a 2 because of their 3rd party tee time registration company. I booked a tee time and was charged $8 registration fee. A few days later I was charged an additional $6 for no reason. When I inquired at the course I was told that I would have to dispute the charges with my cc company. I wonder how often this happens and how much money this company is making off of unsuspecting golfers. Very unethical and the 500 club should be taking some responsibility for this rather than saying that I need dispute the charges.

I ve golfed the futures course many times with my wife and 8 year old. Great course, grounds are well maintained and the holes are fun. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The 500 club course is even better! If you haven t golfed here you don t know what your missing

Everyone loves this golf course and I grew up down the street from it. Sometimes I feel their winter rates are a little high for the caliber of course. Don't get me wrong the course is AMAZING and being super open, fun to play, and great overall leaves you wanting to come back, but $85 rounds is certainly the top end for a "non-luxury" course. The staff is great. The quality of the course is rock solid.

Been playing all around the valley this summer and was pretty excited to play this course with my wife. However for a "afternoon rate" of $29 per person I was hoping the greens would be nicer. We have been paying $30 or less total for the both us for afternoon rates at other courses that are just as pretty, but kept up a bit better. A very pretty course, but will continue playing courses with better greens.

Pretty decent little 9 hole course here for super cheap. It's one of the better ones I've visited out here. My dad and I enjoy the challenge a short 9 hole course offers after playing the bigger courses. Course does it's best with the weather out here but isn't always amazing.

They are making people share carts with strangers during this crisis. I told them I didn't feel comfortable riding with someone in my cart. I said don't you have to follow guidelines? They said they didn't have to! Carts are dirty the inside smells like a sewer problem...it is really bad! The only golf course I have played where safety means nothing to them! Nothing in the cups and people sitting at tables outside next to each other! Sadly I won't play until new ownership comes and fixes the place and where people take national safety concerns to heart!

First time playing this track, it was an excellent track and greens were fast and true. Fairways, rough and desert areas all played fairly. Course was in very good condition; the layout was interesting and challenging.

There were many coyotes on the course and as others have mentioned no houses on this course. The course was easy to find using GPS with ample parking available. No carts in the parking lot.

This is a great place to play golf! It starts with the staff who are very friendly and very competent! The course is a lot of fun with a variety of holes and great views throughout! The course is well groomed and the grounds crew should be applauded! Food and drinks are available with a good variety; very tasty!
An added feature is The Futures Course which is a shorter layout featuring nine holes
that requires you to walk! They have a great
program for younger golfers and The Futures
is super for beginners!

The most beautiful course there is in the valley. The fairways and greens are better than anywhere else and the peaceful surroundings are full of wildlife. Unmatched in quality and price. Staff is awesome and they have the most beautiful cart girls around. Worth the drive if you aren't in the area. 5 stars.

The positive news - the geography surrounding the course is beautiful. The course itself was just winter seeded, and in decent shape, but/however, the greens are fuzzy and slow.

A good friend scheduled our tee time on short notice, and I gladly accepted without checking customer reviews of the past six months.

- I was literally the only person wearing a mask at the time I checked in. The pro shop attendant and literally no one else in the clubhouse was concerned about this entire crazy pandemic thing.

- 500 Club ownership has evidently elected not to invest in additional carts required to provide socially-distanced rounds of golf.

After being informed that individual carts were unavailable, I had the option of requesting a refund or using a course-owned pull cart. I elected to walk and play a round with my friends. Additional punishment - the push cart was reminiscent of my 1950's Radio Flyer wagon. Basic and brutal.

I'd replay this course when COVID compliance is respected and additional carts are available.

Great golf course. A resort course with desert right up to the greens and fairways, very visually leading with the black lava right up to the very green fairways and greens. Good layout very challenging in a good way. When I want to splurge I enjoy it very much h. I would call it ecconimacal but not cheep.
Ill be back as soon as the bank account gets a little bigger.
Peace out.

Great public course! Even though it was cart path only (over seeding) it was still a pleasure to play here. The layout is nice, fairways wide enough for high handicappers like myself and the greens had some tough pin locations. All in all it was a great day and I'd definitely play here again.

At a time where we need more kids golfing if we want to keep golf courses around, the 500 Club Futures Course wouldn t let a group of kids play due to dress code. I m 60 years old and we need to stop worrying about how the kids dress and focus on the fact that they are interested in spending money on golf. Wake up 500 Club. The year is 2018 not 1960
