Shoutout to Mike at Mat Electronics in Warminster for the classic bait-and-switch. They set specific rules to get that freight discount, then flipped the script to say I could only pick one or the other. Really gave me major used car salesman vibes with the fast-talking account rep. Terrible customer service experience overall.

I recently bought three DLP lamps from Mat Electronics in Warminster, and the experience left much to be desired. I specifically requested OSRAM bulbs, and while one item was listed as such, the other two had no description. When I called to verify they weren’t the cheaper Neolux alternatives, I was told they were all OSRAM, which turned out to be misleading since two of the three were indeed Neolux. The single item marked as OSRAM was actually out of stock. It seems like this might be a common practice at their electronics store, as they acknowledged the issue but offered little recourse, simply stating that Neolux is made by Osram and suggesting I return them if I wanted. However, after factoring in the return shipping costs and potential restocking fees, it just isn’t worth the hassle for me, and I suspect many other repair shops feel the same way.

Two orders from Mat Electronics in Warminster and most of the items were either wrong or just poor substitutes. They didn’t help much to fix the issues, so I won’t be shopping there again.
