I have just been to collect my new spinning ring, made for me by the lovely ladies at Corzo & Wood, Claydon Courtyard, Claydon House. They made it very quickly for me & i love it! I highly recommend you visit their lovely shop, with lots of gorgeous items, not just jewellery.

Very interesting National Trust House. This is the historical home of the Verney family who still live on the estate. The house has a fascinating history and only the eastern wing of an amazing mansion remains. The Verney's have a great many treasures, including a suite laid out as when Florence Nightingale stayed there. There are a number of art studios on site too as well as a great formal garden.
Teas rooms are second to none and the gardens are beautiful
Wonderful grounds with added niche and separate businesses on-site!
Enjoyed looking around. Plenty to see. Room guides very knowledgeable. Not the best road signage to get to the place.
The coffee shop have very nice albeit a limited menu at the moment. Nicely spaced tables outside with pretty views. They are doing an excellent job on Covid prevention compliance and sincere friendly service. Hygienic conditions. A pleasure and away from careless crowds.
What a lovely experience..The Sunday Roast was excellent, the cauliflour cheese to die for..Thoroughly recommed and will certainly visit again soon
A lovely historic building to walk around. There is a lovely cafe on site which do fantastic light lunches in a beautiful cafe
We enjoyed our visit to the Claydon Estate today. There is a very nice garden and the courtyard has a cafe and several galleries. The house is National Trust and together it's a good day out.
This house has the absolute best ceilings of any house I have ever visited. The wood carvings are wonderful as well. I do wish they allowed pictures but it is not allowed. The Stables have a cafe and several artists studios shops. I liked the one located through the large open arch and to the left it was pottery. There was sculptutes, painting, framing, purses, and jewlery as well. The house's own gift shop was not very well stocked It certainly could use some more house related gifts.
Claydon house is run by the National Trust. It is the home of the Verney's. They still live in a wing of the house. The rooms of the home are enormous. The views from the building are awesome. The views across Buckinghamshire are uninterrupted. The restaurant is not run by the National trust, but separate businesses. There are also private gardens which can be viewed, but at an extra cost to National Trust members.
Not a full NT property and it showed. No photos allowed, quite expensive cafe, gardens may become good but a lot of work needed.
A beautiful house. Lovely grounds and church. Food was great too
Claydon House (NT) was closed but estate open for walking & we had a lovely lunch at smart outdoor tables.
NT property that is worth a visit, and a good location for a picnic.
Lovely National Trust Estate (house was former home of Florence Nightingale) - Free Parking, Tea Room and independent galleries and picture framers situated in The Courtyard plus The Stables Exhibition room for exhibitions. Where coincidentally I shall be having my Debut Solo Art Exhibition 30/3/18 - 15/4/18
We were disappointed that our visit to Claydon was shortened by rooms being closed because of the lack of the required numbers of Volunteers. We had made 100 mile round journey to visit the property. Rodney Smith
Interesting House , good studios in the courtyard, didn't see the garden because dogs not allowed
Interesting house and fascinating garden tour. Although the tour guide was a bit shy his horticultural knowledge was incredibly good.
Great place to visit antiques, paintings, tea room, gardens and much more
Very nice and interesting National Trust house and gardens
Gorgeous place. Don't forget to visit the art Studio and say hello to Pete and Kim.
Lovely place in middle no were. Great for walks and up stairs loads to look at and try find the orange.
Superb National Trust property. Lovely grounds. Has some nice shops within the courtyard. Beautiful gardens. Also has lovely walks all around it and down to the lake. Hosts "Cars at the Claydons" event amongst others...always something going on. Not far from Waddesdon Manor if you're in the area and want to make use of your membership by visiting two great NT properties.
Ok but be aware that gardens not part of National Trust so cost extra
Really enjoyed the house, make the effort to get to grips with the family history, the house is all about them. Missed the grounds as raining.
Hall not open. Had a meal was ok. Nice afternoon for lunch
Lovely grounds to walk around. River running through. Camping site or courtyard cottage for a holiday stay. Courtyard has a tea room, studios to shop in. Manor house closed at the moment.
Currently holding a Bucks Open Studios event. I went especially to see Blacksmith Munro - a very talented lady.
Great car show, so many different types. Great day out.
Interesting house and park. Great little cafe. Theme nights such as Halloween are also good. Could maybe do with some more children's entertainment ?
