Crisloid has truly nailed the balance of aesthetics and gameplay with the Anchor Blue Tournament Attaché. I’ve had mine since Christmas and have put it through its paces with dozens of head-to-head matches and hundreds of solo sessions. The playing surface offers an incredible tactile experience that videos don't quite capture. The interaction between the pearlized, rounded dice and the cork surface produces a satisfyingly deep sound, while the pieces glide smoothly during movement. I also love the premium leather dice cups and the sturdy chrome hardware on the outer shell, which screams durability. It is wonderful to support an American-made brand like this. My only minor note is regarding the doubling cube; the original matte, pastel-blue cube felt out of step with the rest of the set, so I swapped it for a matching pearlized version. If Crisloid is reading this, that might be an easy upgrade for future batches. But honestly, the joy of the first roll speaks for itself—a top-tier product for any hobbyist.

For the price, you can’t find a better set. I own a $445 Wycliffe Brothers collection which is great, but Crisloid actually edges out in overall quality, especially since it costs around $100 less. The dice cups are a standout feature—they feel thick, sturdy, and incredibly satisfying to handle. Now my only problem is that if I want something "nicer" next time, I’ll have to spend at least $1000 😂

My first Crisloid board arrived and completely exceeded my expectations. I’m not entirely sure about the synthetic leather lining of the outer case, but the snake and alligator texture provides an exceptional tactile experience. Although it’s designed as a travel board, it feels surprisingly substantial and heavy, which is fine for me since I primarily play at home, even if it adds a bit of weight to a tote or backpack. The checkers are stunning, resembling colorful candies, and the butterscotch hue is far more appealing than I anticipated. The cork surface is perfectly smooth, allowing the pieces to glide effortlessly. The magnetic strength strikes a good balance: strong enough to keep pieces secure during movement, but not so strong that they stick when tilting the board. The inclusion of leather snap dice cups is a nice touch, and the precision dice provided are well-matched and high quality. My only minor gripe concerns the single "lucky piece" included in the set. It’s fantastic, but my boys constantly fight over it, likely because the piece actually feels lucky in games. Crisloid, please consider offering extra lucky pieces for purchase!

One small detail to note is that the gold checkers are translucent rather than opaque as shown in the product photos; while I would have liked the opaque version, the translucent ones look fantastic too. The included leather dice cups are well-crafted and feel great in hand, especially with the precision dice. Although it lacks a trip lip, I found this to be a minor detail. For anyone in Providence or elsewhere seeking a reliable travel board, I highly recommend this set from Crisloid. You really can’t go wrong with this one.
