Traumatising school!

My daughter used to go to this school..or should I better say joke. I had to move her out because she was constantly getting picked on and bullied, and that’s not by the students. Before coming to setanta she was always happy and looking forward to studying but ever since she came there she’s been more closed off and doesn’t enjoy her time in school. Miss Murphy is simply a terrible human being and I’m shocked how she even got her degree and job. She always picked on my daughter and made sure to speak to her as loud as possible so other students could hear and embarass her. Yes, sometimes she was breaking the dress code but there’s no need to be so harsh and rude about it. Ms Corcoran always managed her to feel bad and always lowered her in front of others. The school itself isn’t terrible, the classes ar clean and some teachers are really nice and understanding. I’d also like to mention that the school takes no serious action towards the students with problems. My daughter told me that a student raped his classmate and the school took no legal action in that. The boy still goes to this school like normal and the issue has been forgotten because the school doesn’t want to get involved. The school thinks they have control over everything the student does. My daughter had her phone confiscated once and they took it away for a week. I went to school to ask for it back since she does guitar practice pretty far from home and she needs her phone to call me and let me know if she got there safely or needs me to pick her up. Instead I’ve been told no and warned that next time it’s a month. The school shouldn’t have any rights over that. Yes, it’s wrong she had her phone out but the school shouldn’t just hand the phone to the parent instead of taking it away for so long as if it’s their property. You could get verbally harassed and embarassed for simply having a nose piercing in. The only plus of the school is that some teachers try their best to fix the school’s reputation and that the classes aren’t terrible.
