Quite simply, our service charge at Shepherd Court E14 has tripled. Suspiciously, R&R's fees have doubled in 2 years for a 30unit building, the fees are 26,000) .. they keep adding new headers (professional fees, admin fee, liasing fee, accounting fee in addition to management fee). Random line items have quintupled (pest control) and any request for more information goes unanswered. We are really worried about not being to sell our property because of the high service charge. Add to this, their incompetence - we pay building insurance of 23,000 but they charge all works to service charge. The property managers change every 6 months so it is so hard to build a relationship and they are so bad at handovers and they use 'it is a new property manager' or 'it was before my time' to NOT do stuff. I'm hearing self-dealing and collusion allegations where they provide contracts if there is a kick-back from the contractors. There are a few 5 star reviews here that I think they are adding to skew the actual feedback ratings from real people. The residents at Shepherd Court feel stuck - I fear for retaliation for posting on here but how much more worse can it get? Please, does anyone have experience moving away from R&R to someone better?
