My husband and I recently had a very negative experience with this brokerage. We hired one of their agents Ron Kleefman to sell our newly built half-duplex, but instead, the agent made an unprofessional and poorly structured deal. On the closing day, our lawyer informed us—unexpectedly—that the transaction could not proceed.

Rather than taking responsibility and resolving the issue, the brokerage responded by placing a caveat on our property, demanding approximately $25,000 for a sale that never occurred. Shockingly, this happened after they had already unconditionally terminated their listing agreement with us.

When I attempted to reach out to the brokerage to address the matter, my concerns were initially deflected and then completely ignored. Even the broker in charge did not respond to my messages or take any steps to rectify the situation.

We feel misled and exploited by this company. We invested our personal funds into building this home—yet not only did they fail to sell it, they now demand payment for a deal that never materialized.
I urge others to be extremely cautious when hiring a real estate agent. Don’t fall into the same trap we did.
