I had a delivery scheduled for Friday 1/30. I set some delivery instructions saying ill come meet the driver at the road instead of having them walk to my front door because there’s still ice all over the road and the walkway to my door is non existent and iced over, therefore unsafe. I got a text at 3:18 a driver is 1 stop away. I went up to the road immediately. By the time i got to the top of this hill a second text came through saying the driver experienced unsafe conditions and the delivery can not be made. A couple seconds later a black car makes its way past my house, does a turn around parks and just stayed there in the middle of the road while im staring at it. I was waiting to see if they would give me a sign but instead they sped back up the icy road and left. By then it was 3:23pm. All within 5minutes a driver decided it was unsafe when they hadnt even reached the front of my house or probably read my instructions. I contacted Veho immediately and within minutes realized that Veho has no real Human to human customer service or a customer service hotline. They use AI texts and email with a human only after youve complained enough. The twist to the story is that we were expecting more winter storm weather after friday. Meaning Veho drivers will not be able to make my delivery at all. I cancelled my whole order from hellofresh and got a refund. Its sad that some drivers take advantage of weather or anything they cant to get away with not making a delivery. I know there are good drivers out there but Veho doesnt seem to supply any or care about customer support.
