My grandparents used to take my mom and her siblings here when they used to have the live poultry in the back. The food doesn't seem like it's changed at all since I was little, which is amazing. Though my mom swears by the southern fried chicken breast (no icky, greasy chicken skin) I myself am a big fan of their sesame chicken strips. They are highly addictive, be warned. The mashed potatoes are 'smashed' so there are bits of skin in them which not everyone likes (myself included) but there are more than enough different sides to choose from.

I liked it a lot. I've always seen it and didn't know what it was but I'm glad I went. The 1/4 chicken and ribs dinner is 10\10.

Anyways, I've been coming here forever and the chicken and sides are always fantastic. Best mac n cheese and creamed spinach this side of the East River.

Whenever I return to Long Island I'm never home until I stop at Zorns for a rotisserie meal. The best!

Not sure what the hype was about. It was good, not great. Chicken was bland, so were the fries and the rice pudding and the onion rings. Overall, I'd say the food was good but nothing out of this world drawing me back. Honestly, I was a little turned off that I couldnt see the chicken until after it was fetched from deep down under the bowels of the counter. After I was finished, I wish I would have just went to Popeye's instead.

Not giving 5 stars only because the younger guy workers are so rude. I was just in there and they were making fun of a obviously gay man, and didn't even pay me any mind as I walked in. The older man ended up taking care of my order.
Young and obnoxious is never good for a business .try getting better employees.

Zorn's has been my family favorite since the 1960's. My children are the 3rd generation to enjoy it. There really is nothing better for chicken, ribs etc.

Zorn is a family run take out lace for many years. Years ago when my dad was in a nursing home I used to stop and get him dinners and desserts from there. The food is homemade and fresh and the service is always fast. It always attracts a crowd for texts for meals and snacks.

My first time back in many years. Just how I remember it. Can't beat those ribs.

Ribs were like rubber..sauce was way to o sweet and ribs were swimming in it. BBQ chicken wings...same complaint...not happy at all

My wife ate one of the sides Friday night . The only thing she had different then all of us is the Blue cheese dip . Well yesterday she was rushed to the emergency room for sever infection v of the colon caused by food poison ing .. she will have to stay in the hospital several days. This isn't the first time this happened. Last September both she and my daughter suffered food poisoning when eating their mac and cheeze. They were sick for several days and my daughter still suffers from IBS to this day as a result. If you don't want to suffer like this DON'T EAT AT ZORNS!! We learned our lesson.

The food is good. I think the prices are a bit high, but it's a good place to pick up food for dinner.

Known but not known, Zorn's is one of Long Island secret gems. The best fried chicken around served with some of the tastiest sides. Zorns has been a family staple family for birthdays and celebrations.

I had a p ty problem with my order a few weeks ago. I emailed them. They got back to me and we straightened everything out. Now that's customer service. And the food was awsome. Thank you Zorns.

We enjoyed a delicious meal tonight I had the chicken frances and my husband had the chicken cordone blue, we both had the roasted red potatoes and the seasonal mixed vegetables. It was a lovely night so we decided that we would eat outside instead of indoors or going back home since it was hot out

Excellent food. Never waivers. They need to bring back their turkey tetrazzini as well as their potato puffs

Great location and friendly service and accurate when placing order. Good skinless chicken, nice variety of side dishes. Warm old fashioned atmosphere.

We have been getting food from Zorn's for many years. We have always found the food to be very good and the prices better than fair. Love the prepared foods both poultry and sides. Better than we can do ourselves and there is no mess. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed.

HORRIBLE FOOD AND OVERPRICED...CHICKENUNDERCOOKED..THEY COUNT A WING WITH NO MEAT AS A PIECE IF CHICKEN...A LOT OF THE RIBS WERE OVER COOKED AND OTHERS FATTY....THEY HAVE SOME NERVE WITH THE PRICES THEY CHARGE!!!

Ive never had a bad eating experience there and Ive been going there since they used to have live turkeys in the back of the place. It was fun as a kid. The Food is still the same and thank god for that. It is a great treat for the family ribs chicken mac n cheese... its all good here at Zorns

Good food. Large portions. I get at least 2 meals out of 1 person dinner.

The ribs taste like Ketchup based BBQ sauce. Chicken is great.

I've enjoyed Zorn's chicken for many years. Living out east, I find myself near Zorn's perhaps twice a year and always make a point of picking up a bucket of fried chicken.

My most recent visit was 7 days ago. If it had been my first time, I wouldn't return.

I purchased an 8 piece southern fried, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, ribs and cole slaw.

The chicken was moist however the coating was flavorless, oily not crisp. The mashed potatoes were a thin, lumpy tasteless slop. It was worse than KFC. This was not the Zorn's those of us who grew up in the area once enjoyed.

Whenever I get to return to Long Island, I have to go to Zorn's. Most delicious ribs, chicken, salads & chopped chicken liver. Patronizing Zorn's for over 50 years. Thank you Zorn's family

New Building, Much more aesthetically pleasing, Food Delicious as always, Staff friendly

The chicken is their specialty, but all the food has always been great here. It's been around for a long, long time! Family owned and operated- forever! Old time set-up, no big fan-fare, just the facts, Good Food! Rotisserie Chicken, Fried Chicken, Slow cooked BBQ Ribs! Whole, Half, or single meal sized. All the fixin's you could ask for! Mac & cheese, vegetables, rolls, they even have containers of ice cream to purchase! You walk into this Market styled area, get in line, and you order what you like- just whole chickens and/or Ribs or individual pieces. Then you move along to the next section and choose your fixin's. Cost is done by weight. Then there's desserts like ice cream or cookies to choose from. And lastly, the register with friendly staff.

I was having a terrible day until I went to Zorn's for my first time today. First off, the service is fantastic. They let me put two sides in one side dish it was incredible. A sheer explosion in my mouth happened when I bit into their chicken. This chicken was unlike any chicken I've ever consumed. So fresh, so juicy, and extremely tender. I've been on cloud nine ever since. Thank you!

Growing up on Long Island Zorn's has always been a must but omgosh the Mac and cheese recipe needs to be revamped immediately! Had out of town family had to apologize... it was watery and tasted like velvetta cheese and overcooked large shell macaroni. Everything else was tasty/spent over $70.00 for lunch for 4.

Zorn's has been a part if my family's Long Island Experience since we first moved to Long Island 30 years ago. I picked up the 8 piece rotisserie chicken tonight with two sides. It will be dinner for me tonight and the leftovers will make an awesome lunch for tomorrow. At Zorn's the care about quality tasty food and the little extra that goes into every order. My chicken was served in an aluminium dish (easy to reheat), wrapped in tin foil to keep it warm for tonight and for added safe keeping put into a foil lined bag. You have to love every bit of this icon on Long Island!

Great chicken and a place where you feel like you actually went back in time. Cant wait for the brand new store to open right next to the original. Finally there will be seats.

I called to place an order for pick up at 1933p. I was told that it will take approximately 20 minutes for my order to be prepared. I arrived at Zorns ready to pick up my order at approximately 1948. I stood in the area for pick up and noticed that the paperwork stated that my pick up time was 1955. I noticed the employee placed an item in the fryer which looked like my order at 1950. I asked him if he just placed my order in the fryer and he stated yes in an annoyed manner and stated that it will only take 5 mins for preparation. I informed him that I was told that it would be ready within 20 mins and I was present at the 20 minute mark due to the fact that I am at work. I stepped out to touch base with my employer. An employee from Zorns called my job, spoke to a secretary and hung up. When I arrived at Zorn's for pick up, the doors were closed because it was approximately 2005, which I understand. There were still customers present inside and the employee knew of my order, placed my order in the fryer, called to tell me my order was ready, then came to open the door on my arrival and stated in an annoyed manner that we are closed as if he was unaware of my order. My frustration is that the employee was dismissive, had and attitude and I still didn't receive my food when I followed all the instructions explained to me over the phone. When the employee arrived at the door, I asked him what happened to the food he just placed in the fryer, he was dismissive and responded that were closed, disregarding the course of events which transpired. Some Customer Service, VERY disappointed of this supposed family oriented franchise and their service. SMH

The southern friend chicken is amazing and I highly recommend the southern friend chicken breast as well. The sides were also amazing we got creamed spinach, mashed sweet potatoes which were delicious and I normally hate sweet potatoes. Macaroni and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes.

Zorn's has been a cultural mainstay of the area for decades. Not only do they have a full menu of chicken & done ribs done in a multitude of ways, they have a cold case stocked with salads and other delicious items. as opposed to some fast food chicken restaurants that will remain nameless, Zorn's prepares pretty much everything from scratch using fresh ingredients. As a former employee, I can attest to the fact that they keep their kitchen spotless and that everybody follows strict rules to ensure that the product they put out is of the best quality.

I'm not even a chicken lover but this place is dang good!

Food is great, best chicken on LI for sure. Service is fast and courteous. Great value

I have been going to Zorn's since I was a kid. My parents would take us to their petting zoo area.( At least I thought it was a petting zoo. ) My kids are the 3rd generation of my family to enjoy the food. I believe they are still using the same recipes. Try it,you'll like it!

Read menu carefully for prices versus what your buying. Also doesn't give out those tiny cups of hot sauce now they charge.

Great food.. but overpriced... staff is a coin toss depends who you get
