The dark Southern Fried Chicken it's delicious... their Fried Chicken is not the typical chicken that drips oil all over the place it comes dry and crispy is so delicious... I always ask for the mashed potato and the penne pasta. I think they have the best mashed potato and pene pasta in Long Island... They have so many side dishes to combined your chicken... they also serve chicken wings, salads, grilled chicken salad, home baked corn bread, roast chicken, and the prices are really affordable..

The sesame chicken was spot on good but rice and stuffing not so and the rice pudding not the same Joe wouldn't have been happy about it stuffing was cold and dry and rice was light on the Turkey and veggies

Great food, nice staff, and quick service from food being served to being at the registers. Love the historical feel and signage of the location, and even when it's busy I've been to worse crowded food establishments. Recommended.

The staff is always helpful. Place is typically clean. A lot of variety for dinner or lunch. The quality of the food seems to have decreased in the last 2-3 years. This worries me quite a bit in today's greedy society. I will be researching where they buy there food from, results to follow. Prices are decent. There are no customer restrooms which, surprised me.

Sesame chicken tenders w horseradish sauce and the chicken soup are great. Want to try the duck but they need 24 hr notice.

Heard that they are up for sale. Smaller footprint, but the best chicken on the island.

Love this place. New building is nice and clean. Food seems to be getting better after its decline over last few years. I would recommend giving it a try.

UPDATE: 10.12.19 I ordered the sesame chicken strips.....I had to pay $.35 for ranch dipping sauce.....I was annoyed, but it was the BEST ranch I ever had....well worth the extra charge.
