Good zoo in the center of Guatemala City. There are different kinds of animals and birds, you can spent 2-3 hours here.

This so is beautiful. Definitely a place to visit with the family. The animals are taken care of and seem happy. The only suggestion I would make is for a second elephant to be brought in. The current elephant looks very sad and lonely.

This is one of my favorite zoos that I have been to. The zoo is beautiful and the animals are close enough in the exhibits that they are easy to see, as opposed to some zoos where the enclosures are so large the animals are far away. My favorite exhibit was where you got to go into the ring-tailed lemur area and they run around you while you walked through. There is also a very large playground area for the kids to play at near the restaurants.
