Clean, varied, accessible and every day they change it more to add new areas. It is good to avoid Sundays because it is very crowded.

It's a really beautiful place, have some play grounds for the kids, a great variety of animals, it's really cheap (at least for the tourists) it is a must when you visit Guatemala
Very nice walk, gives rise to know the different flora and fauna that are in our country.
I love this zoo !!
It is very nice, clean and they take very good care of the animals.
You have to visit it !!

Friendly and familiar atmosphere in the most complete zoo in the country.
One of the best zoo in the region, species varied and categorized by region of origin.
An excellent place a pleasant climate and a variety of animals a very nice place to stroll family
Very nice and quite organized good amount of animals, but at lunch there are very few tables so this server had to eat standing.
Magnificent place, to be able to share it with the loved ones, variety of options to eat, accessible prices
Nice place, very spacious, clean and tidy, ideal for a whole day with the family and get out of the routine and lose stress.
It is well organized after remodeling, has a wide variety of animals and some with which you can interact, which makes the experience more beautiful
I liked the changes and the order they now have. Beautiful experience
Perfect to live with nature, see animals almost in their natural environment. An incredible experience
A beautiful place surrounded by nature and all kinds of animals, it is ideal to visit with children since they love to see animals. You can feed the giraffe and take photos with the penguins that are the main attractions of the place.
Very nice and careful although the guards do not let anything
The zoo is very beautiful, clean, tidy and the animals can be seen that they are taken care of.
Very nice place to spend as a family and enjoy the diversity of species and also with a very pleasant climate
Beautiful, well taken care of all the details, excellent maintenance, great variety of animals, with large spaces. I loved. With extension work. Very cheap entrance fee. Less than 5 dollars.
Beautiful, the animals have good space and keep the enclosures clean.
A super place with lots of species, very professional and friendly staff
Nice place where you can meet species that are not in other zoo, the place is super clean, there is a lot of security and they are waiting for visitors to respect the animations and their habitats, there are spaces for children, dining rooms, and exchange house in case They have no local currency, besides selling souvenirs, in general a perfect space for adults and children at an affordable price.
It is always very clean and well taken care of. It is easily accessible if you go with children in a carriage or with disabled people. Wear a hat or something to cover the sun. Admission costs 33 and parking 30 ... Children under 2 years old do not pay. The only thing I did not like is that I felt that some animals have very little shade to protect themselves from the sun.
The truth would go again is a beautiful place with many attractions with aquarium and many animals to see I give 5 stars because seriously it is very beautiful and to my look economic
It has very nice animals and they take good care of them
The white bengal tiger is a great attraction of the Zoo
It is seen that they care about the environment and conservation of animals
It is very neat, clean, good attention and well signposted.
I thought the zoo was pretty awesome at first, it was uber clean and the animals had nice enclosures. The kids enjoyed it and we spent a lot of time there.
HOWEVER, we had a major problem with the zoo staff. After lunch we were letting the kids play on the play structure by the food court, along with about 100 school kids on a field trip. The kids were playing hide and seek and while my son was hiding behind a bush a male zoo employee grabbed him by the armed and forcefully kissed him. My son immediately told us about it and we approached the employee. The employee clearly knew what he did was wrong but openly admitted to his behavior. He told us his did it because our child didn't speak Spanish and he wanted to be friendly with him. He was clearly shocked when my husband and father in-law spoke Spanish demanding answers. Our son told us he had notice the man following him around the playground before the incident and the man admitted to it. He kept saying it was just a kiss and chased us all the way to the admin building as we went to report it. The zoo officials kept assuring us that they aim to keep visitors safe and would look into it. We were told to return in 6 days for a written report and a summary of their action taken. We returned in 6 days and discovered they had done nothing. I ask very specific questions about policies and training against inappropriate behavior towards children and was told they don't have any at all. The HR director told me that while she understood that the zoo broke our trust, that culturally in Guatemala inappropriate contact with children is rarely taken seriously. I implored her to create policies to keep the visitors safe, and prevent more serious crimes against children.
The guy targeted our son because he didn't speak English and he thought he was a girl(given his long hair).
He waited until our son was briefly out of sight.
He jerked him by the arm and kissed him aggressively.
He admitted his behavior and said it was an impulse.
He argued with my Guatemalan, Spanish speaking father in-law, saying we were just being uptight.
He physically chased us to the admin office to prevent us from complaining.
THE ZOO TOOK NO ACTION TO PREVENT FURTHER INAPPROPRIATE CONTACT!!
I work in social services, people who want to harm children escalate their behavior the longer they get away with it. This wasn't some cultural misunderstanding. Please keep your kids safe, the zoo SHOULD be a safe place.
Just because it was raining and they are doing remodeling.
Super clean, good staff willing to help you, a must if you are in town.
Very clean, tidy, great variety of species, are in the care and protection of animals

Excellent environments for the great diversity of species and very well kept animals, and its herpetary is great.
The truth is the only place where children and adults have a good time
It is in a very good area, the hours are quite good, enough parking, the attention of the workers is very good
The food is a bit of a must, but the experience is unique to spend a good day with the family.
Variety of animals in good condition. Excellent for children of any age.
The animals look good, healthy, robust. The zoo in general looks good and clean ... Recommended 100%
Beautiful place. The animals are seen to be well supervised and cared for. However, a Zoo will never be a place to raise animals.
Very well maintained, with security, services, food. Ideal to spend the day with the family
