A place you must go if you have family , they will enjoy it much , its good to buy the ticket online to save time

The animals are not in good conditions. Most swamps smells bad. And the place is not well maintain. If is it always like that. I think its time to lessen the entrance fee. Not worthy of of 21 for the adults.

A great experience in a not too large place, where you can find lots of species. A very nice zoo overall!

Great surprise, had been there many years ago and remembered an old decadent area with tons of caged animals. Nowadays is an open park with open air cages that pop up as you walk theough the park, really impressive!!!
Advice, get there early, plan to stay for 3-4h easy!!
Local tramway has a stop at the door!

Great zoo, been twice now and both times thoroughly enjoyed myself. All of the animals seem to be pretty well taken care of. It's a good way to spend a few hours in Barcelona if your visiting for a few days. Good layout and all of the amenities you need too.

Great place to visit. Loved all the different animals and also that there were not that many people. At least during covid times.. Loved it.

Lovely to visit with Family or friends. A bit overpriced 'however its worth the experience for the young ones. Make sure to bring some food or you will have to wait for 30min in lines to buy some chow. Animals are well cared for. 100% recommend. Also' bring some bananas as the orangutan will love you 4 it! Ignoring the ethical issues of zoos/parks like this, and cutting them some slack due to COVID and it s ramifications on staff, resources, etc - I d say the Barcelona Zoo is one of the better ones in Europe. Overall, most of the exhibits (and the animals) look well cared for; there s a good variety of species; the park is laid out extremely well; and the location is really solid for tourists and locals alike. Great spot to take advantage of nice weather, take a long walk, and see some (seemingly) well cared for animals. Biggest advice I could give: avoid weekends and holidays to avoid crowds. The experience is night & day better on a leas crowded day/time.
