Enjoyed a truly amazing high tea here. What's especially great about it is the way it is served: several courses spread out over time instead of everything at once. This really works well as you can enjoy each course individually whilst having some time to digest it before the next course arrives. Impressive thai coconut style soup was a truly delicious starter and the "kroketjes" were devine as were most of the courses. Highly recommended!

Really recommended. Already had lunch in 2019, after having visited the seal sanctuary. Even then impressed, and even more so after a dinner at the beginning of 2020. The building and the interior are both very beautiful. Spacious and yet very cozy. Large but you don't feel that inside. Very nice cupboard with many products from the sea. Quality very good, especially given the price. Operation very friendly and think with deviations from the menu, and think when it comes to food for the small children.

Used the pavilion. Pleasant space. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect operation. Cold buffet was top notch. Hot buffet less but that is a matter of taste.

The fish of the day was turbot, very small fish, cooked way too long, completely dry. Afterwards, the employee said well it was turbotine, maybe she should have mentioned that first instead of saying that it is about turbot. Then they had thrown in a turbot a pile of meat filth, I suppose this was supposed to represent stew, not to be eaten, perhaps to make up for the much too dry small fish. Bread was put on the table, we liked this, not asked, but you get that in most restaurants as a free snack. Not at this restaurant 5.5 euros please ???? Another mistake of the ministry, you ask this first and it is clearly stated that it is paying. The restaurant has a beautiful location, there is nothing more to say about it. Next time we will go back to restaurant Hameeteman in Ouddorp. Maybe they should learn how to fry and serve fish and inform the customer correctly. At Hameeteman we asked extra things that you would pay for this, okay, but we didn't have to at all. Congratulations Hameeteman for your customer-friendly honest service and good food. Visibility may not be as fantastic as Sweet or Salty, but the food is of a much higher level. Have a drink at Sweet or Salt but eat tasty fish at Hameeteman! I am sure this restaurant is getting good reviews for the food. Perhaps people who have never eaten good turbot. That fish is not worthy of a cook and that stew is certainly not.

I give 4 stars for good service, good food for the Netherlands and a great location. The food could use a little more spices and (typical for the Netherlands) the price level is high. 5 people with dinner in the normal range 150 .

Unexpectedly, on our way to our hotel, we ended up here for a lunch stop. Delicious rolls eaten and very friendly staff. Recommended!

End of a nice long weekend on the coast. Fantastic ambiance, beautiful building, large terrace, fantastic view. Small card (I like) with daily specials. Friendly Rotterdam service. In short, a winner and recommended, worth the detour!

Nice location and great place to chill, have a drink, etc. Drink prices are very high.
For good food you better drive on, even though ZoZ is opposite the fish auction, there is no fresh fish to be seen. Too expensive for what comes on the plate. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Invited tonight by my in-laws to eat here. That's why you don't want to come across as negative. But it was nothing short of bad. Operation is awful. Everything seems too much trouble. Is not taken into consideration. Except for 1 nice one, for example.
Tournedos was just raw, sent back, you get the same piece back later, which has been cooked a little longer or they have heated it in the microwave, because it has 0.0 flavor. Bread board with a jar of pesto or the like. Not in proportion. Jar was not even full and you can smear at most 2 pieces with it ....
Mussels stood up too short, there were so many mussels closed!

And then the dessert, the pinnacle. There are some desserts on it. You can choose from that. But my son and I love vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and caramel sauce. So basically a dame blanche with caramel sauce. (all three of these things are on the map, so it can't be very difficult) How hard is this to understand !!!! So lady Linda (arrogant babe and not friendly at all) says that that is not possible, only in the form of small dishes ... I say dude as long as it turns out okay. She arrives with 6 small glasses with 6 spoons and 1 piping bag of whipped cream and 2 small jars of caramel sauce. YOU CAN NOT BE SERIOUS!!!
Then she thinks it is crazy if you send it back.
I say I just want everything in 1 sundae. When they come back they have thrown it in a bowl. And do I have to add the whipped cream and caramel sauce myself !! Really below all arrows !! Scandalous. And to think that they do not simply charge you 6 euros no per scoop per whipped cream per caramel sauce, this amounted to 13 euros !! Its not good there though.
Here they will never see us again and neither will all our acquaintances anymore! And I have quite a few connections, also from business and from the hospitality industry. It's about the way they treat you. No I would say don't!

Nice location and friendly service. Recommended for fish dish is: Salad sweet or salt. Meat menu of the week was Diamanthaas, very tasty. Satay menu was a little short.

Nice restaurant but I think very busy with nice weather

We visited the restaurant with 2 adults and two children. We were very courteously offered a table near the game corner. There was a lot to do for the children here. There is a large climbing frame in the outside area. The entire equipment is particularly impressed by the quality. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and the pricing is in line with the food. I can recommend it to everyone. We ate a fish kebab and a steak with gambas. Both were prepared on the points. The typical fries were not necessary and didn't go well with the dish, but this is common here;)
The desserts were portions of a third each. So you could try several things, which is really a great idea.
All in all it was a successful evening.

Delicious lunch on the beautiful terrace and the kids could play in the climbing apparatus. The drinks did indeed take a long time, but when the ministry got reinforcements for lunch everything went smoothly.

We had my daughter's high-power baby shower at Sweet or Salt and was great, allowed to set the table ourselves and come a little earlier and we did that too. It was a perfect and beautiful location and super service

We once thought to eat good tasty fried fish, first wait 35 minutes before we had time to eat at the table, drinking glass which was still was just taken. The tomato soup was bland and tasted like powder soup. And what was most disappointing was the squabbling, which I thought would be good, so close to the ports and the sea. But nothing is less true, soggy breadcrumbs or something was there, and seemed to come straight from the freezer captain igloo. And then the price, which is far too high compared to the quality.
