The fish of the day was turbot, very small fish, cooked way too long, completely dry. Afterwards, the employee said well it was turbotine, maybe she should have mentioned that first instead of saying that it is about turbot. Then they had thrown in a turbot a pile of meat filth, I suppose this was supposed to represent stew, not to be eaten, perhaps to make up for the much too dry small fish. Bread was put on the table, we liked this, not asked, but you get that in most restaurants as a free snack. Not at this restaurant 5.5 euros please ???? Another mistake of the ministry, you ask this first and it is clearly stated that it is paying. The restaurant has a beautiful location, there is nothing more to say about it. Next time we will go back to restaurant Hameeteman in Ouddorp. Maybe they should learn how to fry and serve fish and inform the customer correctly. At Hameeteman we asked extra things that you would pay for this, okay, but we didn't have to at all. Congratulations Hameeteman for your customer-friendly honest service and good food. Visibility may not be as fantastic as Sweet or Salty, but the food is of a much higher level. Have a drink at Sweet or Salt but eat tasty fish at Hameeteman! I am sure this restaurant is getting good reviews for the food. Perhaps people who have never eaten good turbot. That fish is not worthy of a cook and that stew is certainly not.
