Just purchased earrings from this company via trouva. They have arrived and are a bright pink as opposed to rose gold. Sent pictures and they have agreed they are different colours. But because they are earrings company have said they can't be returned. Website errors belong to the company not the customer. Now having to seek legal recourse under Consumer Protection Laws

Just an update on this Collard Manson themselves and not their agent resolved this problem swiftly.

I ve shopped at Collard Manson a number of times over the years and will continue to do so, especially in the current climate. It s a great place for fabulous gifts, beautiful jewellery and cool homewear. The stock is constantly updating and I always find something I love when browsing - I often end up buying things I hadn t planned on because there s always something extra that catches my eye. The service is amazing too and, if I ve ordered online, the goods are always packaged securely and delivered quickly. I would heartily recommend them, particularly if you are looking to support local, independent shops this Christmas.

Really bad service, clothes smell moldy.

I purchased a pair of grey cottonstretch trousers in the webshop of Collardmanson. When I unpacked my delivery I was surprised to find velvet trousers which I would have never ordered. No word about this in the product description of the webshop and the dimly lit foto did not show that either. On top the trousers smelled rather moldy.

It took three emails until I got an answer. I was promised they will check the product description with the garment when received back. I politely asked for a refund of the shipping costs of 10 GBP(!) what would have been the least since I already had paid about the same amount for the return shipping. All I got was the stale response they were sorry I was not satisfied with the item but they were unable to refund the shipping costs.
Wow - in this case the customer should not have to come up with any shipping costs at all!
Really bad style is also that the refund via Paypal was on hold, which means the refund was not cleared immediately.

Especially as a returning customer I dont get this attitude and lack of diplomacy at all. Never again!

Love this place. Always worth a visit. Friendly staff and always some good tunes playing. Just a lovely well presented store.

Avoid this boutique! Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered 2 cushions via Trouva over a month ago now.
The item arrived in a box not fit for purpose and had been subject to significant damage.
The item description was wrong on Trouva website and the cushions measured 55x55cm not the 50x50cm stated on the website. 55x55cm is even stated on the cushions themselves!

I have proof of postage but despite this the boutique are claiming they have not received my return. You can get hold of nobody at the boutique or via Trouva to rectify this problem.
It has been 4 weeks now and I am no closer to receiving my money back & this issue being resolved.
I am now in the process of obtaining my money back via the small claims court & I will be reporting Collard Manson to my local Trading Standards office.

In a time we should be supporting small business I will never shop via Trouva or use Collard Manson ever again, they give some amazing small brands a terrible name.

It is disappointing but not at all surprising that there are many other reviews stating the terrible customer service they have also recieved from this boutique.

Excellent stylish (and quirky!) independent fashion boutique - for men and women - with interesting household furnishings too.

An interesting, if expensive, range of stock. A lot of items are definitely more for aesthetics than function.

Such a special shop with a really beautiful and unique selection of treasures! I ve been shopping at CollardManson for more than a decade and there it always feels like a treat - either at the boutique itself or online. The customer service is spot on and the packaging and dispatch time for online orders is brilliant. I have recommended CM to many of my friends who also adore it! Sheffield wouldn t be the same without it

Unique shop, amazing and kind service. Always have really lovely comments when I wear the clothes and jewellery (friends now use this shop too). They stand out from the crowd. Homeware is fab, coffee tastes so much better is a special mug. Items come beautifully packaged so they feel special, perfect gifts. Highly recommended
