Donna the chemo nurse was VERY rude and combative. My mom had radiation at 11 and was told to come straight to chemo therapy right after. We arrived for chemo at 12. We did not get taken back until 1:30pm to be greeted by the absolute worst RN there. Her name is Donna. She needs to go back to school for compassion and patient care.
Although it had been nearly three years since my mother passed away from ovarian cancer, the grief is still so intense. Fortunately so is my gratitude to NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center and Dr. Gajewski. My mother's disease was not curable, and a visit to Duke confirmed that NHRMC was administering the same treatment regimen she would have received at Duke. She was able to fight as long as she could with a doctor and staff who were fighting just as hard to save her life. She felt cared for, even loved, there, as did I. We felt so fortunate to have this advanced specialty here where I live and could be involved in her care and comfort. There are no words for what that means to a patient and her family. Thank you, Zimmer Cancer Center. Please continue to fight hard and well.
Dr. Lucybeth Nieves is the best doctor in the world! I would not be here if she hadn't taken such good care of me!! She really cares! I wish there were more doctors like her!

It took like two months to get in to even see a Dr, they will work with payments that's the best thing I can say about this place but if you have insurance your best bet is cancer centers of America.
Dr. Belle and Donna, I'm so glad I came across thosr two. Dr. Belle is a great Doctor. I was so glad to meet him when I was in the hospital, because he understood my situation

The best care I have ever received from a doctor. Dr. Walter Gajewski is hands down one of the best gynecologist/oncologist doctors I have met. I trust this man with my life and would recommend him to any one in need of this kind of medical attention.

Dr. Lucybeth Nieves.... words cannot describe how I feel about this wonderful doctor. She has been taking care of me for years and has never, ever lost track, left me feel in limbo or showed less interest in my care. She is one of the most caring professionals I know. I trust Dr. Nieves whole heartedly and will 100% recommend this young lady to anyone.
Every visit bolsters my spirits. Dr. Gajewski, Melinda, Tammy, every nurse and technician I've encountered, the check-in receptionists, the social worker, the pharmacy team, the massage therapists, and the dietician: each one has been above-and-beyond professionally and interpersonally. I have no doubt that I am receiving the best care available anywhere.
