If you want to come here for dinner you have to come around lunchtime you want to eat on time .. man man man

The wine isn't cheap here, so when we saw the other customers getting pours 50% bigger than ours, we felt a bit ripped off.

ZIlt is Economical and Certainly Very expensive.

This week on a motorbike to IJmuiden, arriving at the beach Zilt looks inviting. Once at the benches, the kisses are far from clean, but oh well, you should be able to go to a beach tent. First order Nachos, for 8.50 that must be something, unfortunately they did not come, but then when ordering with the main course, just remind us and just to be sure that we want it first and only then the main course . Unfortunately everything comes at once. The nachos are typical catering quality with hard cheese, now cold again, in a dog tray, at most a hand full and that for 8.50 pfff. Then the Brioche Falafel. Sounds good but the reality is different. Three balls on a white bun and a tablespoon of salad. Hop again 16.50. Well then the goat cheese salad. It was quite good, and reasonable in price. Tick off 50 euros with 1 glass of wine. For the time being we are going to Unbuntu in Zantvoort again, they are doing better. Hop Zilt do your best better than maybe we try again next year!

Poor service .. on this hot summer day we thought we would go out for a nice bite to eat at zilt aan zee ..
After 10 minutes we were told that we could only order drinks and no food due to the crowds.
This is not possible .. I have never experienced that ..

Blow out and recover after 2 hours of walking on the beach

A nice, cozy, beautiful and warm beach tent. A tad on pricey side.

Nice beach bar. It was very busy, but after a few minutes of waiting, a number of tables became available.
Too bad that no fresh whipped cream is served (but from an aerosol can) and I think the snacks and dishes are firmly at the price.

Nice, sit down, friendly service, but 5 for a bottle of beer? An expensive coastal town. Keep neatly away.

Now not because of the twisted virus but otherwise a nice place, good service, delicious food and good coffee. What else do you want?

last Saturday we had lunch which was delicious and the wine also tasted good, service you had to make an effort to get in touch but they were also busy, too bad they don't take a look every now and then. Because we wanted to go to the beach again and wanted to pay off, I kindly went in to wait patiently until I got in touch with all understanding because it was hot and busy. I was attacked by a very pitiable and unfriendly lady, think late 40s, dark hair with tail, what I wanted was the question .... uh well I would like to pay, lady said; yes and where were you with her arms wide !!!! I was so speechless that I said where I was sitting, she would come along to call someone and she just did not say why I did not arrange that myself, very surly and rude she called someone and she cleared our table wildly, thought you that she asked; has everything been to your liking? did it taste? Have a nice day, nothing like that, she said NOTHING cleared wild and walked away ...... unbelievable, how is this possible, end Zilt for us.

Big beautiful beach club set at the entrance of IJmuiden beach. Plenty of space to park nearby. The beach is very wide and breathtaking. We rented the private part of the club that comes with your own bar and terrace. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Very expensive in relation to the quality. Toasti barely warm and crispy, coffee in a tiny cup: it was ordered as regular coffee but it looked more like a cup for espresso or even ristretto

Very chilly there. Good beer selection for Holland and good music.

Done round the beach. Then a nice cup of coffee with a nice piece of apple pie.
