Our trip to Italy was planned to perfection by Zicasso/VaPiano. We stopped in Venice, Florence, Tuscany & Rome. A lot of moving parts. Incredibly angry I wasted my time on this travel company. DO NOT USE IT! I spent far too long filling out their forms and alas, they sent me an email with no specific reason why they can't do business with me. I suggest they change their business rejections to opportunities. Call me, email me, determine if I'm flexible and offer solutions. Or at least give me the time of day with the specific reasons I wasted my time. I've never left a review for any company in my life, but this is warranted. I don't even want to give them 1 star but have to in order to post this. Pathetic!

I recently used Zicasso to find a travel agent for a trip to Spain and Portugal. I provided Zicasso with information about where we wanted to go, for how long, interests we had during our travel and budget. Zicasso referred two travel companies to me. Both provided proposed intinieries. I corresponded with both, made changes and received final proposals very quickly. Both came within my budget. They both provided detailed itineraries which were very impressive.

The one I chose did a superb job. Every hotel was in a great location, all were clean, comfortable and had friendly and helpful staffs and many had gourmet restaurants. Every guided tour (there were 10 tours in our 21 day trip) was on schedule with knowledgeable and friendly guides and our drivers were all very skilled, professional and personable.

This turned out to be the best travel experience we have ever had and we have had many outstanding trips in the past all over the world. I will definitely use Zicasso again to find a top of the line travel company and I will us the same one we just used when we return to Spain and Portugal.

Do you want an "over the top" experience in Africa? You will not be disappointed if you engage Zicasso. The process is easy. I highly recommend them for an African safari. Honestly, after an excellent experience in Africa, I would engage them for any tours that they offer.

This was our first time using Zicasso and we highly recommend it. My wife came across a review on-line and submitted a request for doing a private vacation in either Greece or Croatia. We are interested in history/culture and wanted private guides/drivers and itineraries that would let us explore both countries.

Zicasso exceeded my expectations!

I had a very complicated and ambitious vision for my family's first trip to Spain. We are a couple with twin 10 year old daughters we are raising bilingually in Spanish and English. I wanted to cover as much of the country as possible in just over a week to get "highlights" of what our target cities had to offer while keeping it both educational and engaging for my kids and enjoyable for my spouse and I. I desired our accommodations to be first class, but regionally relevant. In addition to seeing each location with a dedicated, knowledgeable guide, I wanted to engage with the local culture with hands on learning experiences. A very tall order!

Zicasso was able to design and coordinate every aspect of our trip with seamless transfers, extraordinary accommodations, passionate and personable expert guides. Our agent was always available to me day or night for tweeks and changes to our itinerary and facilitated the best trip of my life. From our arrival in Madrid she coordinated every detail of our Trip which began in Madrid, then Lisbon, Seville, Granada and Barcelona.

There were so many highlights I cannot choose just one. I was blown away by Lisbon and our guide's passion and love for her City made me love it too! Jeronimos Monastery was a highlight and the pop-up artist market a treat!

In Seville we I found more than we could have imagined, The hotel is perhaps the most extraordinary hotel I have ever stayed in. The Cathedral and an almost spiritual Flamenco performance at the Flamenco Museum were transcendent. But our favorite activity was a beautiful cooking class where we prepared a traditional Spanish meal and then ate it on a private Balcony overlooking old town glory.

Granada however was our favorite. We stayed in the old town directly across form the Alhambra. I could spend another week in this location alone. Just magical.

Barcelona also did not disappoint between the old town and Gaudi's LaFamilia Cathedral we were awestruck.

If I could change one thing about the trip, I would have added a few days so we could spend more time in Lisbon and Portugal and explore Granada at a slower pace.

I was exceptionally pleased with the itinerary set up by Rosa Lara of Just Explore for 14 days traveling through much of Southern Spain. Just Explore set up a seamless series of visits to Madrid, Toledo, Cordova, Sevilla, Granada and Barcelona. From being greeted at the airport, rides to the hotel, train tickets and internal flights all went smoothly with thoughtful staff. Our guides were knowledgeable and fluent in English and local suggestions. The hotel selections were all excellent both for location centrality and amenities and transfers from each city were so smooth that it too all the stress out of needing to plan for tours for cities I had never been to before. Meeting with Rosa Lara who heads up Just Explore was great and she was always available by What's Up if I had question about any ideas or questions I had. It was both a great stressless vacation and well worth the cost of setting up in advance this way. Zicasso put me together with a travel agent for a custom 17 day tour of Japan. All the hotels booked and train tickets provided, etc. We had guide for four days. Our first guide showed us how to use the subway and trains. Excellent trip. It would have been impossible for us to put together a trip of this magnitude on our own.

We were initially a little nervous about this change because we had chosen this agency based on our communications and comfort level with the previous owner. However, the new owner was, from the beginning, very responsive to and understanding of our concerns. She addressed every one of our questions almost as soon as we emailed her. Further, when we contacted Zicasso to express our concern, Zicasso also responded immediately and helped give us confidence that we ought not to be concerned as the new owner was rated as highly and would continue the same service this particular travel company is known for. By the time we started our trip, we had total confidence in the new owner, and with good reason. This was the most wonderful trip. Our drivers and guides all arrived promptly and were all wonderful to work with. They were the most knowledegable and fun guides we have had. The hotels arranged for us were perfect. The hotel in Dubrovnik was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. We always felt like the agency had communicated ahead with the hotels and restaurants to make sure we had the best room or table available. We felt like rock stars! Every request we made during the trip was accommodated happily and immediately. We could not have asked for more from a travel company. The trip and travel company exceeded all of our expectations. The highlights, of a trip filled with many, were (1) our private sailing trip to Hvar, (2) our private boat tour with our guide of the Elaphite Islands, (3) the stunning Villa Dubrovnik where one can shower and brush your teeth while staring out to sea, (4) the private lunch at the Antonin Mill, (5) lunch at the Restaurant Panorama on hill Srdj with the absolute best table for the view and (6) finally, the magic provided by all of our guides' knowledge of history and Game of Thrones lore that was communicated to us in such interesting and entertaining ways while at the actual historical sites where the filming of Game of Thrones took place.

After a truly incredible, very personalized trip to East Africa through Zicasso, I was so pleased that I have decided to utilize Zicasso's services again in planning another trip. Next up is IndoChina!

Having spent my childhood in Kenya and returning to East Africa after 25 years, I had in mind very specific places I wanted to go to share my experiences with my husband and children. The itineraries developed for me were extraordinary. I opted for the travel agent that found a very special place for our group, right on the beach where my grandparents had lived for 40 years.

In addition to taking care of all the special arrangements required for our traveling party (the group grew over the course of the design of the itinerary), including special accommodations for varied diets, we were kept apprised of specific requirements for travel, were met on arrival at the airport and never had a moment when we were left without support. Each destination was chosen by the travel agency with our desires in mind. The adventures we participated in will be memories for a lifetime.

Booked a private 1 week tour to Thailand with Zicasso and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Everything was seamless and the activities we did/restaurants we visited were absolutely wonderful.
