No reimbursement of tickets as season tickets and annual ticket holders. Goodwill hardly exists here. There was only compensation for tourists. Too bad.

Also for Austrians the best location is easy to be. My spot and first place in the mountains.

Arrogant cashier. Had a legitimate objection - about two cashiers have made fun of it. When I complained about this behavior, I was reproached. Absolutely unprofessional behavior.

Fondue on the rope canceled, there are only s .. vouchers for next time. Never be ashamed of yourself.

Very large area to go skiing. But a many cable Cars (vs. Chairlifts) and also very pricey (about 85.- one Day Swiss pass, ~93.- with italy included, if you want to Upgrade your Swiss Day Pass for italy: 42.-!!)

Modern and well-tended tracks wonderfully high security.

It is recommended to rent a bicycle from below and go up to Furi and ride downhill.

Unfortunately, it is so summer and winter always comes to long waiting at the cash register. At the bottom station to the Furi are often not all coffers occupied and the service leaves a lot to be desired, is often very arrogant. Presumably, the guests should be educated to purchase the tickets via the electronic route. I also have customer contact on business and think there is still a lot of room for improvement. The different fare offers are getting smaller, the hiking pass for hikers has been abolished in favor of the expensive Peak Pass.

The prices for a day ticket are far too high ... Unfortunately we will not be back. Was the first time that we were here ... Too bad

No goodwill in times of Corona. The international ski pass for Italy was not converted to the valley pass after the ski area in Cervinia was closed due to one day of use.

When we arrived at the top (Matterhorn Glacier Paradise), my mother collapsed immediately ... We had paid more than 100.- and had none of it! The rescuers were right there, gave her oxygen -> bill 270.- and sent us back down alone. When we arrived downstairs I wanted a refund, they said there was nothing you could do even when I showed the receipt. I am very disappointed how it all works out, it's all about money.

Incredible ski resort. Very vast. You can ski over to Italy on a nice day and enjoy endless long groomed runs.

This region is only disappointing as a Swiss. Switzerland Tourism tries to keep the ID holder for holidays in the country instead of losing it to Austria or other countries and then as a hotel guest you don't even get discounts on the mountain railways. Zermatt should actually write on the town sign and on the website that the price-performance ratio drops with increasing altitude. No thank you.

Gronergratbahn was absolutely worth it. A lasting experience to look at the mountains with the 4000 m peaks.

The slopes and facilities are great. The prists on the Italian side are more attractive, longer and more snow reliable. The gastronomy is generally at the top level when it comes to the restaurants served. The price level for the railways and catering establishments is at the upper level. You have to pay a little more for USP "Blick auf Matterhorn".

Great ski resort, offers a huge ski area. a lot of different exiting and mostly challenging terrain and pistes. Amazing big snowpark with something fun for everyone. Generally amazing snow conditions. Not really any lines. The pistes are groomed/ maintained very well. Good quality skiing over all. And lots of amazing mountain restaurants to experience. Also worth mentioning is that this ski resort offers skiing all year a round offering one of the best snowparks in the world during the summer season. And the snow conditions are always good on the glacier even if there is no fresh snow since months and every other ski resort is closed cause of low/ no snow year Zermatt still offers good skiing

Tickets for 2 people paid in advance. No refund after the return trip is canceled. Reference is made to the terms and conditions. How can you be so uncultivated and rip off your customers like this ?! This is extremely outrageous!

I am a simple tourist like you, and I look on the Internet for feedback on where I will go. I am writing and I want to warn everyone that money is being stolen in this city. My family and I just tried to visit one of the peaks near the city. We went there by cable car. We entered the big carriage, but the operator said that now everything is closed from above. We just wanted to take a walk and eat in a cafe, but he said that this was not necessary. We got out of the car and tried to find out at the box office how to return the cost of tickets to us. I repeat - we have not gone anywhere. At the checkout we were sent to the company office down to the city. In the office I tried to explain for half an hour that we did not use the services of the company and did not go anywhere, because an employee of their company told us so. The young employee refused to return us, did not want to listen to the explanation. She did not give her name and did not give the opportunity to contact her management for an explanation. I asked if she understood that it was a theft of money? Does she understand that tourists can find out about this fact? You will not believe what this employee told me. She told me that nobody cares, and we will not get the money. She did not want to deal with our problem at all and demanded that we leave. You understand that they don't give a damn about us! And state-owned companies steal money here. No need to come to this city!

Rude, arrogant staff at train stations. We were here for a week, unfortunately due to the wind practically no tracks. But it could have been communicated better and friendlier.

Probably the most modern cable cars in Switzerland. Do not miss the Glacier Ride to Matterhorn glacier paradise!

Absolutely no goodwill in corona times. We bought a peak pass for two people for 10 days, used it twice and then fell ill with Corona. Despite submission of the medical certificate, there was no reimbursement or the possibility of a voucher for the remaining days. We would also have agreed to postponing the validity. But nothing. There was only an indication that one could have taken out insurance in advance.
We have been loyal Zermatt vacationers for many decades and are very disappointed. Money rules this place more and more. Too bad and sad.
The other negative reviews here at Google are not surprising.

Once in line for a long time, then you pay for a ticket 100 francs for a round trip to Glacier paradise. The view over the landscape is fantastic. Bottom line, I think the mountain railway way too expensive.

Terrible customer experience! The view from the glacier paradise is top but the service from the personal is flop. I wanted to book a half day and a full day at the desk. Impossible. Ah. I could purchase now only the half day. I had to purchase again the next day for the full ticket. The next day I had to wait 25 minutes before getting the pass. Not to mention the desk person who was arogant and not professional. Many customers were unhappy.

Actually zero stars for Zermatt Bergbahnen AG. First, the information on the homepage years ago so miserable that we had to do without the Schwarzsee. We got a voucher, which we could redeem only a few years later and this was then despite repeated positive information for the purpose of validity, suddenly no longer valid. Although I could name names, even the year, one doubted in a letter to these facts and came to this gift, as it was not called, as far as the validity is concerned. Very bad process and a customer service, the worst kind. The Matterhorn is an experience, the Zermatt Bergbahnen AG, however, a single disappointment.

Very modern sky resort, good people and the new 3S railway is awesome

Zermatt likes to market itself as a premium resort but customer care at bergbahnen is closer to the economy category. Staff was so rude they had my sister in law in tears. A little bit more class wouldn't hurt.

Friendly staff. Unfortunately, in corona times, very hot and stuffy air on the train. We wore masks, which also had a negative impact on our condition. On the way back we deliberately took a new train. Even hotter through the panoramic roof! Very friendly and competent staff at the inVisp railway counter.

I had a voucher for an international ski pass, but I only received a national ski pass. However, I only realized this when I was in Cervinia and I could no longer pass the turnstiles. I therefore had to buy an additional ticket back to Switzerland. When I was back in Switzerland there was no excuse at the valley station or any attempt to refund the mountain railway ticket back to Switzerland. The new ski pass was only issued after renewed pressure and the journey from Italy to Switzerland was reimbursed. There was no excuse, however, only by email when I wrote to the cable cars.

Modern cablecars and infrastructure. The reason for not giving 5 stars is the glacier express lift to Furi, Schwarzsee, Furgg and Trockener Steg halting a lot and it takes around 30 minutes for the complete ride because of it taking a big detour.

As long as you do not want to demand a refund, all the best. Billet insurance is a joke.

Very nice ski gebit perfect slopes 5 star staff training 1 star staff Basically friendly also kassen boss sher poorly trained. And he does not even show it he does not need it to work and people are coming in droves. Thank Matherhorn. Basically everything is a bit overpriced but price and demand ok. 3 stars.
