The first environmental education institution in Bavaria. Very nice staff, cheap single u. Multi-bed room u. Meeting rooms / ballrooms. Culture and nature are very important here under Salesian leadership. The tours offered are also recommended with children.

Unfortunately, the individual venues in the monastery communicate with each other little or not at all. This makes planning difficult for larger groups

Very beautiful monastery complex and also great rooms to rehearse for example with a choir over the weekend. The Don Bosco youth hostel has relatively clean and nice rooms and also opportunities to sit down in the evening, but the food always has problems, especially with larger groups. As soon as you were even a few minutes late there were hardly any seats and the food was actually often too little, or was simply not spent due to misunderstandings and then remained.

Does the name Fraunhofer mean anything to you? - no? Without a visit here, the world keeps turning. You don't have to travel there yourself. But if nan is in Benediktbeuren anyway (basilica etc.) and if you can do something with the name, a visit is highly recommended.
