Love this place! Become a bit of a ritual when we visit Bristol...really not like any other all you can eat I have been to. Usually you expect lesser quality food due to the amount of variety, not here! All cooked fresh and you can watch the chefs cook it in the middle of the island, on each island. Even do fresh requests such as pasta dishes (what meat, what sauce, what pasta) and they make specifically for you. Have Chinese, Indian, Italian, American, British, Tex mex, salad bar and desserts. Always a guest island too which was Christmas dinner given the time of year. Highly recommend! My only tip would be to go during the week or for lunch if you can as the price goes up on evenings and even more on weekend evenings, so worth going mid week for lunch for cheapest opportunity!

Lovely place, loads and loads of choice to eat, small variety of beer beverages on draft, nice cocktail menu and a few bottled beers to choose from, seating a fairly spacious considering it's a all you can eat, waiter/ress are on the ball and regularly checking you for a drink, disabled access is great theirs a lift to take you up and down and large areas to get about in, depending on where you sit you can admire the beautiful harbour full of nice and tidy boats, parking isn't great Trenchard car park is about 10/15 minute walk or Millennium centre parking is closet from car to main entrance 150 yards from main entrance.

All in all great place to dine for couples, family's or large groups 5 from me

Always love coming here with family and friends and always been great. Visited with my hubby on a rare date night and they have adapted well to current situation the only thing i would say us no social distancing queuing up and even though we had a time slot everyone was bunched up in the que and the chefs have to now serve you and Communications were tricky due to the massive screen and they are very rushed and some were quite grumpy and rude (hence 4 star) but still a lovely time

Lovely

A go to place if you are visiting Bristol!

An all you can eat with a vast variety of cultures under one roof, with the opportunity to see live cooking.

The quality of the food is great and deserts (especially the sticky toffee pudding) is to die for.

Tables are booked at slots and seeing the queue can be a little overwhelming, but it goes really quick and efficiently.

With claims of being the biggest restaurant in Europe.. it is probably best to be wary of ZA ZA Bazaar. The restaurant is huge offering a buffet experience of food from all over the world.

On the whole the asian food (indian and chinese) is ok.. but the rest of the food seems poor in comparison. Very good if you have a fussy family or a work do as you can realistically have a good chance of 'pleasing everyone' here.

The deserts are a little cheap tasting, but there are occasional good ones.

you eat in 2 hour sittings, which means big queues in the top of the two hours for mains (particularly the crispy aromatic duck) and huge queues for dessert in the last half hour.

Dont expect to hang around past the end of your two hour slot.. you will be ushered on by staff who are under pressure to turn the tables over for the next sitting.. you can take drinks downstairs to the bar along with your desert should you wish to.

Bank holiday Monday meal with the family, not much to say really, its all you can eat restaurant, don't expect masterchef level of cooking but everything is fresh and tasty, ques occasionally build up on popular stations but left feeling I wasn't going to be able to eat again for a least a week. So very pleased.

It is a very cozy place! You can come to our family, both in pairs and in groups, you won't have any problems.
Is a place to eat all types of food, it has the formula "all you can eat" (you have a one hour limit). Any type of drink is not included, just water. It is really cheap.
Usually, from Friday to Sunday (depends on time) they have a lot of customers.
Remember to book.

A landmark of Bristol. An absolute must! Something for everyone is an understatement. Open Buffet of Indian, chinese, italian and tex-mex. Street food style stalls. Most being cooked /to order in front of you

A selection of different cuisines from around the world. Good prices and decent service. Some foods were nice and some were not. Try to be selective when you go there. One is sure, you won't be leaving there hungry.

So many choices!! The amount of food situated in the building is crazy- everything from Asian to class American. Food tastes really well too, not just rushed. Staff are very friendly and helpful, although can be a bit of a pain to get hold of your waiter/waitress.

Za za bazaar is a restaurant for people who have never been to a restaurant before. Just because there is lots of choice doesn t mean it s worth going. The standard of food is lower than a takeaway, and the drinks extortionate. The only positive is that the size of the building makes it a bit of a novelty.

At the moment (covid times), the buffet sections aren't available to go up to, so they have made menus where you can choose a selection of mains, sides and desserts and they will bring them to the table. It works really well. Well done za za.

Fantastic range of foods and flavours, my favourite was the freshly BBQ'd tikka chicken pieces and chilli battered fish. Sushi and range of puddings were a bit disappointing, but didn't impact the overall experience too much. Would go again, and recommend!

Unfortunately not the best experience today, the gas supply had been turned off and a very limited selection of food available... However, the manager offered 50% discount, which helped disperse the disappointment in the party.

it was my birthday and it was a disaster ! food was staggered on all the courses . over salted , not appealing in taste and appearance in some cases . Absolutely not up to the usual standard . The plastic plates and bowls after the starters were piled up and not taken away before the dessert .. all the courses were small quantities .The cost was still the same for dinner and due to the awful experience I was going to ask for the manager but as we had to catch a train home we did not . Highly disappointing . The fact is we as a party of three left 85 % of the food !

Good

It's an interesting concept for the UK where "All you can eat buffets" are very much a novelty. It's even quite well appointed and the food ranging from average bland to actually pretty good.

But what let Za Za Bazaar down for me was a combination of ABSOLUTELY dreadful music - which appears to be designed to drive you out of the place and almost minimal and surly waiting staff. They only have TWO jobs to do, seat you and provide drinks, and they appear to hate doing either! :D

The restaurant works on a basis that you buy an hour at a table. We turned up at 4pm to be told we had 45 minutes before the 5pm sitting. When I pointed out it was 60 minutes the woman on the reception said "F O R T Y F I V E minutes" as though I was mentally ill. Only hunger and a sense of curiosity about the place stopped us from walking out!

In short - Food OK, staff terrible, music - torture! :D

The food taste nice, BUT! Has aloot of baking soda in so you will fill up very quick and the place is not good maintened. Here and there should be fine, but defenetely is not a wow place due to non refurbish, bit dirty and that baking soda.

It's a busy place. Popular for the all you can eat menu. A vast choice of Asian, British, Mexican, Chinese etc. Serve yourself buffet. Dining is in sittings. Harassed looking staff clear your plates so you can get another one. I prefer the FED experience in Cardiff St David's centre.

Prices depend on the time so check their price list before going as weekend evenings are twice as much as weekday lunch. Pleasant food with a good choice of various cuisines. Desserts rather disappointing but a great place for lunch.

A nice place went there with friends after watching T20 cricket match between India and England.
A good selection of drinks at downstairs and a wide range of food verity with a good choice of salads, fresh live cooking really enjoyed by all of us. Desserts were nice.
Good choice of world food.
