Arrogant attitude of Indian Manager, in-efficient booking system, same food every time - no varieties
In Bristol there are very few buffet place for Indian food. For any parties we always ended up with this place for many food options - thinking there would be something for you even if you don't like most of this.
This time it was an Indian manager who named himself as the top boss for the evening and spoiled our party with his wrong attitude. We booked for 12+ people asking for some place in specific corner so we can enjoy our party. We were given table next to noodle kiosk. We requested him for a better place. Instead of accepting a fault from his end while booking the place, he suggested us to leave the place if we don't like the table provided.
We invited our friends so we couldn't afford to that tonight but we were extremely unhappy. I requested for escalation point and he mentioned he is the top most man of this restaurant. Also charged us of disturbing his staff. It was like a situation of begging for a place for our party.
While we were booking for table, we requested for certain place - in case you are unable to provide the same you can always say no at the time of booking instead of insulting us. I have been to this place for more than 10 times and each and every food taste the same as I tasted on day 1 and there is no new addition of food item.
It was a wrong place for our celebration - I would share this experience with my friends in Bristol and would try to avoid repeating the same mistake again.
Management, I hope you should hire right people for right role. You don't need to select Indian manager always when there are so many talented restaurant staff in your organisation.
