Ordered cap a tread. Said they shipped 15, they did not, they sent 7. Home Depot can t reach anyone there. This customer service is unacceptable. 800 dollars and can t even speak with anyone. I will he reporting to the BBB!
Seems like I am sharing the same frustration as most reviewers. Ordered material through Home Depot beginning of October and they said it would take 2-3 weeks to get here. I called Home Depot and they informed it would take an additional 2-3 weeks. Material is delivered two weeks later. I am missing 11 boxes of Cap A Tread. This is ridiculous.
I should have read the reviews before ordering this product. The concept is great and I'm sure they've got a great product however the management of this company is terrible. I ordered my stairs back at the end of Dec 2019 and it is now February 19th and no stairs. The standard answer is "1 week". I canceled my order since I can't keep waiting and will now have to figure out a different solution. Word of advise to this company if you read Google reviews. Management needs to change or you will be filing bankruptcy in very short order after you lose Home Depot as your major customer.
Received our order in a reasonable time. However....
Some of the pieces, the laminate had bubbles, cap-a-tread noses were cracked, and the ends were "munched" (so my installer calls it). And, the right-return cap-a-treads were not finished. Have to return multiple pieces. Quality control issues!
I have been using molding and Cap-a-tread products for over 4 years now in many projects. Till date I have had no issues with delivery or product quality. All my ordered were through Home Depot.

I have had the same issues as all of the other people leaving reviews. Poor customer service and orders that never seem to ship. I'm very nervous about how my product will look after reading these reviews. I would not recommend

Ordered overlay to cover stairs for plank flooring on Sept 12 , 2020 and its now Dec 5 , 2020 and still no stairs. I cant even get anyone on the phone to give me an estimate or explanation. Home Depot is no help at all and I will NEVER buy from either place again. Lowes and Menards here I come! If I could give zero stars I would. I'm done! This company is a joke and Home Depot should rethink their partnership with them.
