ZACH Theatre Review

We had an awesome time. Beauty and the beast was amazing.

I love seeing shows at the ZACH. They are well-versed in what they do. The only bad thing is the limited parking and the $10 fee for it.

A Christmas Carol A Fantastic Reimaging of the Classes. A Must See

We brought our kids to see Beauty and the Beast. The actors and singers are top notch, I and my kids had a great time. We will definitely be coming back.

Not a bad seat in the house! (Front row might be too close). Janis joplin show was fantastic....so much more than expected! I don't know how they give that energy to the show everyday.....I know they will do very very well...such talent!

Saw Matilda which was amazing! The talent displayed was tremendous. A wonderful production worth seeing by anyone who loves great theatre.

Really nice and intimate theater! Saw Mary Poppins and it was great. We'll definitely be coming back again.

Have seen a few shows here and enjoyed every single one! Everything seems to run smoothly here and there is a great staff to guide you along the way! Great little bar area and gift shop with some reasonable prices.

Amazing beautiful actors are amazing and soooo nice would definitely recommend coming here and would come back

Great little theater. I know it's been recently renovated so I'm excited to visit again.

I have always loved Zach Scott theater, but recently they out did themselves. Our 2nd graders went on field trip to see Tortoise and the Hare, the performance and acting was amazing and 100% engaging. Teachers and Students were blown away by the depth of the play, all connecting to a different life lesson or embedded theme. It's been the most educational and entertaining field lesson we have been to!

The play was offensive lewd and bashed the president this is not what I pay for I expect to be entertained

The Christmas Carol is amazing! I took the whole family this year. I've seen it and other plays at least once every year.

I enjoyed Santaland Diaries. My daughter got us tickets for one of my Christmas presents.

I really enjoyed seeing the production of A Christmas Carol and its unique staging ....with it having many musical numbers! Was wonderful and had a nice message as well.

First time going to this Theatre. Very entertaining and awesome to get out and do something different. Plus the girlfriend loved it!

What a fabulous space for a fabulous experience! I chaperoned my son's 1st grade class on their field trip to see Tortoise and Hare. The cast was amazing, the costumes were fun and the set made me want to play o it...the length and pace was perfect to hold the attention of an audience of kids the. Entire. Time. It's been years since my last visit to Zach Scott, and I believe it's high time for us to start going more often! Take your kids (if they don't go with their school) you will ALL enjoy it.

One Night with Janis is held over and well worth the ticket. All seats are great in the wonderful new theater. The singing and content of this play is so much fun.

Went to a roller derby event here and it was awesome! The event space is nice. It's clean, spacious, and feels safe.

ZACH's production of Beauty and the Beast was exceptional along with the entire theatre experience from preshow music to postshow visits with cast and crew.

Went to their 'Christmas' show tonight and they felt it was in the spirit to call special needs children "retards." It happened multiple times and we were uncomfortable, to say the least.

Every time I drop off my son for the summer program the junior counselors or the intern don t acknowledge him, today I left him standing next to the wall by himself, his older sister had to came over to him to play with him.The junior counselors were sitting in a circle eating and not paying attention to him. To a 7 year old being left somewhere new is scary and I was hoping for a warm welcome each and every time I drop him off as I m leaving him in their hands For the day.

Amazing local theater experience! You will never have a bad time here.

Every time I come to a play here I am impress. I come as a teacher with my students and it is always a wonderful experience. We watch Charlotte's web this last time and it was wonderful.

Excellent theater, very modern. Enjoyed the seasonally topical play, Dracula that was very well acted and produced.

I loved the play! It reminded me of when my cousins and I used to play school, house, ect. It was teuly amazing!

Ann was great!! Made me miss her wit and it s sting! The Topfer theatre is beautiful. I don t think there is a bad seat in the house.

Just saw Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night. Great performance, great story.

My elderly sister cannot attend this theater because handcap access is poor, no elevator.

Sunning shows across the board! Great atmosphere in all the theaters and you can order drinks before the show to pick up during intermission. Their kids acting program is stellar too!

Saw Lady Day at Emerson Grill....Excellent! So good, I saw it 3 times.

Great venue for shows and Merlin Works improv classes and shows.

Such a treat. The venue is beautiful, the performances are amazing, tickets are affordable and parking is plentiful.

The Zach's Topfer Theatre is a small theater, seating 420 people, meaning there is not a bad seat in the house. They have a full bar, with snacks, so you can get liquid refreshment before the show and order an intermission beverage, as well. Their food and drinks are allowed in the theater or you can sit at one of the tables and enjoy before the performance. They sometimes even have live music performing in the lobby. The seats are roomy and comfortable and performances rival Broadway.
They also have another, even smaller theater across the plaza that seats 135 that usually puts on kids shows and some excellent one man shows.

The cast and ushers all know what they're doing. I feel extremely comfortable while watching the shows and the service from everyone is exceptional.

Wide variety of productions. Lots of Austin talent on display.

I watched the Christmas carol live and it was great, even little kids loved it.
