The Topher theater is amazing. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The actors are all great and the shows are funny. I recommend going when you can.

This is smallish theatre, giving it a more intimate feel. Staff is very welcoming. I recommend getting there at least a half hour early for good parking. Also really grateful that they'd bring a production as daring as Hedwig to the stage.
Love the productions and staff! I would highly recommend that you attend a show with your friends and or family.
I love this place. Come here visiting family around Christmas. Highly recommend the Christmas Carol and there fun twist on the original. FYI I have seen it twice, and they do change it up.
The production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was very impressive.
Such an amazing experience! The live theatre is positively phenomenal! ZACH has stepped it up with their brand new Topfer theatre! The new bars are excellent, the bartenders are awesome and the space itself is something to be in awe of. I highly recommend this theatre! Les Miserables is the 2013 season opener!
Beautiful theater! All seats are great seats, and shows are fantastic!
Saw a graduation of an improv class of my friend, very nice stage, employees, great vibes all around! Seats were cozy and I never saw an issue with the set up :)
Good customer service but the pizza has poor quality I do not recommend it, thanks
High quality shows. Especially love their educational series for kids. Has introduced my children to the world of live theatre. We've seen Winnie the Pooh, Charlottes Web, Lion Witch and the Wardrobe, and Goodnight Moon. All were fantastic.
I have been coming to this theater since I was a child and the quality is amazing and it is in such an intimate small space. Try to am see a show in the round theater, it is a great experience!
This was my first time to Zack and I was really impressed. Everything about my experience was like watching a well oiled machine come to life. Parking was easy, the grounds were beautiful, and the building fresh and clean. We were greeted promptly and had little wait at the Box Office (two really friendly guys helped us). The theatre was great and the show very high quality like I said, I was impressed. I'm looking forward to my next show!
love this place if u here in austin for visit please check it out
Great staff, VERY good program that is having lasting results on our son!
:)
Beautiful and spacious theatre with wonderful lighting and sound! Love the creative vision that production, casts, and crew bring to each of the shows performed here!! Has a full bar for refreshments, ASL interpreters, and fun backdrop photo booth!!
Love Zach! I have never seen a disappointing show. They always offer the best performances in town.
The new revamped ZACH theater is just darn comfy. Not a bad seat in the house, plenty of leg room, a nice stage (and great acoustics). Best of all, during SXSW it's one of my absolute favorite places to see films for it's excellent screen and audio quality and available parking.
The production quality is very good. The theater isn't too big; I don't think there's a bad seat in the place. The service in the lobby was good and the traffic flow for getting into and around the theater worked well.
Though they are amateurs/ non-profit, they are very well prepared! I enjoyed it every time and plan to go again.
I love live theatre. Zach is Austin's best of many performance spaces. The newer 400+ seat Topfer Stage is a technical marvel. Not the old world charm of the older Art Deco style theatres, but well done, clean, and a great performance space. The original Kleberg Stage is still a wonderful stage with lots of good memories. The intimate Whisenhunt stage in-the-round is a special space. I love them all. You will too with a well done curating of newer plays, originals, and sometimes classics.
Love this place. Not a bad seat in the house. Treat yourself to one of the show stopper drinks they make
I have not ever experienced a bad show at this theater. They always seem to produce the most entertaining, relevant and thought provoking shows. From traditional to modern, and in many many different mediums and methods. I've come to expect the unexpected. Come on and support your local performers!
Some of the best performances I've ever seen. Many are so good I will see them multiple times!
Friendly staff. Not a bad seat in any of the theaters.
The kids always love this place. Their shows are top notch and the whole family loves them.
The show was great, but we had bad seats and missed part of the show that was at the back of the stage. Disappointing.
The Matilda musical was great and the venue is small enough that you're close to the action. All of the staff was helpful and lines for concessions moved quickly, even at intermission.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch show was absolutely amazing! The cast was phenomenal
Nice comfortable seating. Good view anywhere you sit!
Gorgeous, welcoming space, not a bad seat in the house, fabulous performances. I've had anything but a marvelous time at ZACH!
Beautiful live theatre facility but parking can be problematic
Great place to watch plays! You can tell the hard work they put into them!
Great theater space. There are actually two theaters and the smaller one is so intimate it's insane. We have season tickets and the parking lot is never full. So much better than going to the movies, and the cast always invites people back to the bar to meet them after the show.
Xd rawr :& I was low key sittin in da biz and I got arrested for my golden grill. I was low key angry doe becuz I was killin the game out der. You know its gucci fam. Dat play was lit doe XDDD
The Zach is always clean, well staffed and a great theater experience! Staff are also very friendly and helpful.
My daughter had a voice recital here about 2 weeks ago and had a wonderful time. They had free parking for the parents and we were able to bring in food and drinks for the kids for after their performance. The room that we set up in was more like a classroom then a theater type room however it was inexpensive and provide the kids a great experience.
Nice theater with incredibly nice staff. Plenty of ample parking as well!!
Well run programs for all ages & class of Austenite s. Production s are hit or miss, but a night at a live stage production, even if it s faltering, is still better for mind&soul than almost any movie experience. The facilities function well and have a good sense of space in there design.
We're so happy with the great work Shannon Fox did directing The Phantom Tollbooth with my daughter. My daughter can't wait to perform again.
Love this venue, especially the Topfer Theater! The acoustics are wonderful and all seats I've ever had have good views. The size of the theater is just right for excellent shows.
Saw A Christmas Carol here! Great little theater where every seat is good!
Nice amphitheater style location that had comfortable seating to see movies.
Wow!!! Words cannot express how much I enjoyed watching A Christmas Carol at the ZACH Theater tonight. Everyone in the crew did such a good job! I laughed, cried and laughed some more, with plenty of clapping and whistling mixed in. The range of songs they did was amazing and I was astounded at the talent that was displayed. I felt so honored to witness this performance tonight and highly recommend you attend A Christmas Carol if at all possible. I can't wait to go again!
Small theater with incredible acoustics. The actors were amazing with strong vocals in Beauty and the Beast.
amazing theatre. learned alot of stuff. seen some great shows.
A beautiful, social distance event. Loved the music and the staff was exemplary.
A must see - the best "Christmas Carol" I have seen in the last 30 years. Great show and "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Go at Christmas. Absolutely amazing show. Can't possibly imagine any flaws. Really cool venue as well.
Great venue for plays. Not a bad seat in the house.
We love this playhouse. You're pretty close to the stage. The performances are generally outstanding. We've seen some great plays here.
Classic in Austin and Austin friendly. Theater without the even bigger prices quality presentations.
Perfect venue for our work events. Comfortable seating
Nice place to watch a movie or something. Relaxed. Basic drinks.
I love the authenticity and intimacy of the Zach Theatre. There is not a bad seat in the house and the performances that I've seen are Great. It's also really special that you are able to shake hands and talk with the performers after the show. I just saw the opening night of "Notes From the Field". It was beautifully written, performed, and I'm so thankful to have this community in my neighborhood. Thank you Zach Theatre staff!
I have season tickets year after year and most of the plays are outstanding, but I feel like a cheap poser because it feels so expensive and high society, never like I belong there.
Amazing! The customer experience and personal touch the staff provides to insure everyone has a great time and is taken care of is second to none! I am impressed (and it takes a lot to impress me - LOL) Great Job!
I was only the bus driver but the 6th grade students were awestruck at the presentation that they saw.
Large theatre with impeccable sound and video quality.
Good theater and has quality performances, though the ticket prices are a bit high for my taste.
