I lost all respect for this place today. This place isn't safe especially if you have children because the staff won't do anything if someone is threatening you until there is a fight and that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard especially for it to be a domestic violence shelter. Crazy entitled people stay here and the staff allows bullying, even one of the staff members bullied me and they lie and it smells bad in there, the bathrooms are always filthy, some of the showers are messed up and worst of all there are bed bugs and I keep getting bit and they keep trying to say it isn't bed bugs when obviously it is. This is a business and they don't care about anyone in this shelter just their money.

Do not even expect that you will be given the courtesy of speaking, because you will be interrupted and ignored about your situation. Also if you have a service dog with your training papers from the organization that trained both of you, it's automatic a pet.
Service dogs are defined as durable medical equipment by the Federal Government and covered legally under the Americans with Disability Act. They cannot be excluded from any agency that accepts Federal grant money to operate.
So take a pass on this one. You are definitely better off.
