I love their daycare!! They take good
care of my children!

Has been a blessing for my friend to live for over two years. Some of the staff are very helpful and kind a help people move to the next level on their life s. Some of the staff can be mean. Overall great experience :-)

Secretly corrupt. The receptionist women & the 'volunteers' that sit in the rooms with the overnight shelter ladies are fake compassionate unhelpful frauds. They take donations given to the Y. That goes for money,clothes, ect whatever is donated that they want they take first before and if ever the women staying here ever see these donations. Here they are working with homeless women yet still find a way to make everything about themselves as if their life sucks even worse!! Complaining all the time about their lives, the leak in the roof of their house, pushing a button, moving beds, having to make space. All to people who don't have any homes or stability!!!!! Made only 8 women sit in the tiny entrance room for 40 minutes because they didn't think there would be room for all of us? As if there weren't plenty of nights with about 12 people in there!! All to find out an hour later they made such a fuss about it cause a woman w/ 4 small children we're there. (when in reality they all ended up piling on 2 big mattresses anyway, everyone else still fit normally) This place needs new management and REAL KIND HEARTED employees who have something to add to an enviornment of women seeking help. Instead of just working there to avoid their own problems, self hatred thinking this will make them feel better about themselves. This is the reason homelessness never gets solved the people working for these organizations do not want to help anyone but themselves. So sad I hope one day someone will genuinely care about the community.

The staff are compassionate and always willing to listen.

I never had to live there but i stopped there and spoke to people who worked there and they never shamed me. I thought i was going to be homeless and they were more than willing to help, Im sorry for the one person who felt shamed tho.

Great non profit in the Harrisburg area that has helped numerous women get back on their feet.

It was a bad time in my life and these ladies helped me get back on my feet. They went over and above to make sure I could get the help i needed in a dark time. I could never thank them enough

It's an amazing place to visit, they have alot of activities for the kids and as a family. They also help the community with showers and haircuts as well! It's called Sanctuary, and that's on every 3rd week of the month. This is really a great place to visit!

Great place for family to visit their foster children

I was assigned a DA, a month ago they were in court to represent me I get a phone call today that they have no record of that and I m supposed to meet up with them... when I can t I work full time and already had someone before the director said I m empathetic however the actions chosen proved otherwise... I legit had to hang up because she was no help and made me feel like I was in the wrong when I was not!

Because with all my community and support i deserve too have this establishment signed over to commute for me Florida a.k.a mistic b.k.a eve and my kids Tarahjay mykell Ross b.k.a runituprahjay and Dakota juwell Ross b.k.a countitup

Have a case in litigation with Fair Housing Counsel. I said will keep you posted. What does your office do? One application was missed. One staff member stress out and she wasnt listening. Wrote a letter for that staff person. Hope she is fine and back at work.

They truly help people here, just be very mindful of the rules

These people here are great for the most part. They take you when they can. Certain receptionist look at you funny. You also have to make sure your not friends with the wrong people while here . The location isn't in the best place it's not a hotel but I'm grateful for staff who are trying to care and empower women.

Very bad place. They judge situations, and shame victims.

Only local facility with a lap pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room making it the best option for safe and pre/post surgical weight loss.

Although my time spent at this facility is not ideal, the YWCA staff has treated me with respect as well as dignity. I love the decor which gives a very out in the country side feel.

I understand they're not used to women being the one's that need supervised but their gender biases were very obvious. They not only let my ex break the rules but they also told her things that were apparently confidential and they wouldn't tell me. I felt unwelcome every time I had to go there.

They do great work here. Daycare staff is incredible. In a terrible section of town.
