Youth Services of Tulsa Review

This place looks great on television and actually does some good for youth, but I started to question the integrity when I was working in their transitional living program and was fired BECAUSE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said that OK is a fire at will state so I had no grounds to defend myself. They left me homeless with no health insurance. I thought about applying for the program I had been administering since I actually qualified. Then they would have to face my actual face and talk about their actions. :(

Love my sons counselor. She is a good Christian women.

Very nice staff, absolutely incredible services for youth such as myself.

I love all the options and help they provide the youth in Tulsa. They have helped me so much in my life and I just can't truly express how greatly I think of them. They're truly lifesaving.

Safe helpful place for any teen, with or without parents. Go here for guidance, help on any issue, even when you can't go home. I wish this was an option when I was a kid.

Horrible. I swear all these people did for me is cause me major stress and severe anxiety. They moved me into an apartment infested with bed bugs. I spent over $200 trying to get rid of them myself. I also have a son and they waited until almost 3 months later to do anything about it. I finally just had to pack all my stuff, throw away almost everything, wash what was left and leave. They don't respect your privacy and will come in your apartment at will. Oh and if you have toys on the floor and a slightly dirty kitchen they will accuse you of being a substance abuser. I feel very uneasy around almost everyone in this program. My review is probably going to get deleted but it's the truth. I honestly wish I could sue these people for the emotional labor they put me through. Good riddance.

Really good community agency that helps teens. Has several options to help kiddos. Mostly positive staff.

I dont really like there effort towards helping the kids they help but its like its not there top priority ive been told plenty of time that they will call me back about someone they have in there services and days will pass with no answer or a call

Their safe place program is horrible. There aren't ever any beds available. When I was brought in, I was treated terribly -- mocked and ridiculed for absolutely no reason. They also called my parent in and treated that parent like a pile of dog poop as well as me. They acted horribly and clueless when I said I didn't want to stay there because I did not feel safe. Everything was worse at the place that I ran away from when I returned. Would never recommend.

Love some aspects of this place. Not a real fan of how some shelter kids have been treated recently but I love a few other programs of theirs.

I never stayed in the shelter but drop in and resources are amazing

I attended the first offenders class with my son. Michal and Andrea were the "instructors" for the 6 day class. I had such a good experience and have nothing but good things to say about the two of them. Thank you!

Donate what you can, when you can. It helps a non-profit and helps struggling kids.

This is an amazing place for youth 17 to 24. they have a transitional living program which helps use get back on their feet when they're going through a struggle they help with Doctor bills Dennis bills eye doctor bills that provide food and clothing for the youth that need it. They have a drop-in center where you can hang out during the day wis-tv PS4 computers for Wi-Fi and they also serve lunch at 11 daily. this overall is an amazing place the people are amazing and the projects going on has changed so many lives.

This place is totally full of caring members of staff, dedicated to helping youths to better their lives. They are all full grace and peace

I went here as a teenager and it was a positive place for me to grow and thrive in an inclusive environment.

This is the worst place to help out for track to they dont care about I am sorry to say but that's all I can say and not everyone is bad

Tulsa has a great group of people ready to help the youth in our area.

Great staff and resources available for youth and parents who do not know how to help struggling teens. They have MANY resources to help Tulsa's youth.
