Excellent walks and views. Sculptures aren't for me but some are quite amazing. They have a grand lake to walk around as well as the grounds. Two coffee shops to my knowledge, all with great disabled access. Also plenty of parking for the disabled and good disabled facilities.
Not to be missed, great exhibition and good cafateria
Lovely well kept exhibit/grounds. Impressive exhibition
Surprised how big it was , an enjoyable day in a real nice place
Nice afternoon out, would like to visit once galleries have reopened.
A great place to go. Some very interesting pieces also there are changing exhibitions. Always interesting. Good food.
1st time visit and we weren't disappointed.
Such a lovely place, clean and tidy.
Plenty of picnic facilities.
We visited just after it re opened from covid regulations so only 2 sets of toilets open, but these were clean.
Easy online booking. Will be returning.
Prebooking made it very easy to control numbers. Plenty of staff to direct customers. Cafe's fully covid compliant. There were hundreds of visitors but NO litter anywhere. Oh, and the sculptures were good too Full marks to YSP.
Great grounds and scenery to walk around - interesting sculptures as well. Well worth a visit, although it will get windy!
Great walk around and free entry too. Lots to see and do for all the family
One of my favourite places in the world. I love the walk up through the woods to the Longside gallery, there's always something new to see.
It's a great day out. Sorry the cost of parking has increased though. But I suppose it all helps to support such a brilliant place.
Nice area for a walk with family. Interesting sculptures and stunning views
Fairly good day out. Although my leg condition did make it difficult
Great place, very interesting exh9bions as well of course the sculpture park itself. And great value for food and coffee as well! We've been a few times and enjoy it every time.
Fabulous day out, great sculptures, and beautiful countryside.
You need a nice day as apart from a few sections all the sculptures are set at what appears random spots throughout the grounds and "A Lot" of walking is involved but that aside well worth a visit
One of my fav places to go any time of the year. Lovely space for young and old
Fantastic views and walks. Art works are fab too. Well worth a visit. Age ranged from 2 yrs to 64yrs and all had a great day out.
For arty people it's very exciting and stimulating, came especially to see Melvym Evans. Enjoyed our lunch and staff were great. Will definitely be back.
Really nice. Less keen on the restaurant so bring a picnic.
Lovely day out for families. Lots of space for kids to run around and have fun coupled with nice facilities in the main building. Including a kids play and learn room.
Very good place to visit however it's not very Accessible for limited mobility users
Great place could easily spend a whole day at YSP. Will definitely come back.
A nice place, but wear comfortable shoes because there's a lot of walking.
Amazing place to wander around, spent the whole day there with the dog taking it all in
Thought-provoking art, beautiful surroundings and delicious cake!
Very huge and cooling even under the sun. Eventhough I wished there were proper a better pavements to walk on, still an amazing experience.
Great place for a family walk and picnic. Always something new to see.
Great day out. Good walks. Exhibits change now and again so worth return visits.
Great place to visit. We visited on a cold wintry day but there is lots to see undercover, so we still had a great time.
Fantastic local attraction with international artists and sculptures. I've been going here for over 15 years and always have a brilliant time
A very busy day, once in the grounds you can loose people & enjoy the atmosphere.
You now have to book tickets to go into the park, but still worth a visit
Gorgeous setting, dream-like place. Great to have the opportunity to ses art on this scale out in the open.
Fantastic place for walks. Lots of space. Nice views
Yorkshire Sculpture Park is the leading international centre for modern and contemporary sculpture, set within the 500-acre, 18th-century Bretton Hall estate in West Yorkshire.
Founded in 1977, YSP was the first sculpture park in the UK, and is the largest of its kind in Europe, providing the only place in Europe to see Barbara Hepworth s The Family of Man in its entirety alongside a significant collection of sculpture, including bronzes by Henry Moore, and site-specific works by Andy Goldsworthy, David Nash and James Turrell.
It's great, the Henry Moores are worth the admission alone.
Great walk, still good with covid measures in place, 5 stars for sure!
500 acres of beautiful Yorkshire landscape as a backdrop tob 90 odd world class artworks.
Very nice walk with the dogs. Will definitely go again.
Lovely place. Parking is a big pricey but the park is free so balances out.
The Sculpture Park is amazing and have very good cafe and restaurant..
Absolutely lovely place. The sculptures are really spread out. I spent approx 3hrs walking around with the wife on a beautiful Saturday.
Highly recommend a visit if you enjoy art and looking at sculptures.
Such a simple , but powerful idea - to take art out of the walls of the museums and galleries and place it in the park, blend it with the nature, make it part of the landscape!
A fantastic park containing so many outdoor sculptures. It took me over 2 hours to walk around it but you really need to spend the day there. Its near Huddersfield.Well worth a very sit, with many famous sculpture s from people like Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth
As on many occasions we stopped again at the YSP on our way further up, always a most anticipated visit since we discovered it many years ago. The park is beautiful and large so that you can easily spend a day walking through it, round the lake, up the wood and up the hill. The other attraction are the varied exhibitions. Sadly, the Henry Moore was not yet opened. And though we are no fans of Damien Hirst, we can now affirm our view having seen some of the work for ourselves "grandeur nature". It is the beauty of the park that you will see many pieces of art, some to your taste, some not, in an incredible setting, and at very low cost. We loved the new building The Weston, and lunch there was amazing. The food at the other restaurant remains of high standard too. (yes we stopped on the way back again!)
Love this place! Have been coming for over 20 years and it never ceases to inspire!
The sculptures were good but not very interesting for children. Mostly for adults and you can walk around for passing time.
Great day out for all the family. Be prepared to walk lots to get the most out of it. We were there 5 hours and still missed loads.
It s bloody great here, the Art is always changing the grounds are kept to a high standard, the flat whites are superb
Great place to pass the day away, walking around beautiful surroundings and looking at the sculptures.
This is an excellent place to visit, fantastic walks. Cafe is very expensive take a picnic and drink.
Really nice place to have a day out. Food in the cafe is very nice. Alittle pricey but good quality. Grounds are really well kept. Car parking was alittle more than I expected to pay but given there is no entrance fee you kind of don't mind.
Another one of my family's favourite places to visit
Always a good place to visit regardless of the weather. Free parking for motorcycles too
What a fantastic place the Yorkshire Sculpture Park is. Plenty to see and do, and the grounds are beautiful.
Always liked the sculpture park. Used to take my children and now take my grandchildren
A brilliant antidote to any city museum. Some iconic pieces that it is always a erasure to visit up close. Fantastic Mr Finch exhibition, The Wish Post. Pretty awesome chips in the restaurant too!
Mr Finch exhibition very small but exquisitely formed.
Beautiful place for a wander and a picnic! Dog friendly too!
Nice walk... Don't expect a theme park, it's nicely laid out but would ve disappointing in the rain!
Could spend a day here looking around the forever changing landscape and amazing walks
There s nice cafe with homemade ketchup and a few other condiments.
Changing large exhibitions and a core of great permanent works ean that I have visited many times. I love the rolling parkland setting of the outdoor sculpture and the tall bright space in the main gallery. A great outdoor walk for those not pro-sculpture.
Lovely parkland and sculptures, great exhibitions, nice (if a little expensive) cafe. Generally excellent facilities, but a lot of rules.
Beautiful views and walk. Just as well...statues are dire, modern art??? Not for me.
Amazing place, great walk exploring all the sculptures and the cafe on site has amazing food!
We had a good time here. Amazing sculptures! The kids enjoyed themselves too. Only thing bad was when we got there as it was raining we thought we could stay inside and go to the basement exhibition but the room was empty.
Love this place. It's fantastic regardless of the season you visit
Great place, just done a Xmas wreath workshop there had an amazing day
Fantastic place with a great range of sculptures and other artwork.
Beautiful place to relax and have a walk. Very interesting sculptures, well worth a visit!
Amazing place, but the prices for the parking are knocking out ...
