Excellent walks and views. Sculptures aren't for me but some are quite amazing. They have a grand lake to walk around as well as the grounds. Two coffee shops to my knowledge, all with great disabled access. Also plenty of parking for the disabled and good disabled facilities.

1st time visit and we weren't disappointed.
Such a lovely place, clean and tidy.
Plenty of picnic facilities.
We visited just after it re opened from covid regulations so only 2 sets of toilets open, but these were clean.
Easy online booking. Will be returning.

Prebooking made it very easy to control numbers. Plenty of staff to direct customers. Cafe's fully covid compliant. There were hundreds of visitors but NO litter anywhere. Oh, and the sculptures were good too Full marks to YSP.

You need a nice day as apart from a few sections all the sculptures are set at what appears random spots throughout the grounds and "A Lot" of walking is involved but that aside well worth a visit

Yorkshire Sculpture Park is the leading international centre for modern and contemporary sculpture, set within the 500-acre, 18th-century Bretton Hall estate in West Yorkshire.

Founded in 1977, YSP was the first sculpture park in the UK, and is the largest of its kind in Europe, providing the only place in Europe to see Barbara Hepworth s The Family of Man in its entirety alongside a significant collection of sculpture, including bronzes by Henry Moore, and site-specific works by Andy Goldsworthy, David Nash and James Turrell.

As on many occasions we stopped again at the YSP on our way further up, always a most anticipated visit since we discovered it many years ago. The park is beautiful and large so that you can easily spend a day walking through it, round the lake, up the wood and up the hill. The other attraction are the varied exhibitions. Sadly, the Henry Moore was not yet opened. And though we are no fans of Damien Hirst, we can now affirm our view having seen some of the work for ourselves "grandeur nature". It is the beauty of the park that you will see many pieces of art, some to your taste, some not, in an incredible setting, and at very low cost. We loved the new building The Weston, and lunch there was amazing. The food at the other restaurant remains of high standard too. (yes we stopped on the way back again!)

Really nice place to have a day out. Food in the cafe is very nice. Alittle pricey but good quality. Grounds are really well kept. Car parking was alittle more than I expected to pay but given there is no entrance fee you kind of don't mind.

A brilliant antidote to any city museum. Some iconic pieces that it is always a erasure to visit up close. Fantastic Mr Finch exhibition, The Wish Post. Pretty awesome chips in the restaurant too!

Changing large exhibitions and a core of great permanent works ean that I have visited many times. I love the rolling parkland setting of the outdoor sculpture and the tall bright space in the main gallery. A great outdoor walk for those not pro-sculpture.

We had a good time here. Amazing sculptures! The kids enjoyed themselves too. Only thing bad was when we got there as it was raining we thought we could stay inside and go to the basement exhibition but the room was empty.
