I met Darrell at a chamber of commerce event and I came to him with frustration. I have worked with other companies in the past and have been extremely frustrated when they do not tell me WHAT they are doing. They leave me in the dark and are secretive. I must say that I only sat down with Darrell for about an hour and have learned more from what he told me that I have from paying someone else. They really do care about educating their customers and providing them with superior services. He was honest with me, told me a few areas I should improve upon (on my current site) and was simply very informative about the process involved. First of all, You'll get great service from these guys. For the most part they are good guys. As far as the service we contracted them to do. Not impressed. I don't understand the 5 star average here but maybe they had no idea how to handle the marketing of my product based business. A lot of the examples they demonstrated before signing me up with them said that they're sales doubled, tripled and in some cases 10X the business. Maybe those cases were unique but in our case we probably received less than a handful of sales online from there marketing campaign. Was very disappointed and when brought to there attention it seemed like they had no answer. We surely understand that marketing is somewhat of a gamble but if done properly we should have at least seen some sort of a ROI. That being said, good guys that probably meant well but not that experienced. DISAPPOINTING and a WASTE OF TIME.

Response to Owner Comments: We have expressed our concerns and unfortunately we have not been contacted back. We told one of your partners that we wanted to cancel because of such reasons above and from what I recollect his words was "Ok." We were quite astonished as to his quick response without having to want to sit and possibly discuss what happened in the campaign that went wrong or what could have been changed to see better results. I don't know how your company would be able to make it better because if you could you probably would have demonstrated that your company could produce results. Unless you wanted to keep charging your monthly fee just for page likes which could have been done on our own. Stormie, thanks for reaching out but I'm not sure how you can make this up. Time and Resources for businesses are very critical and we lost that with YOKEL LOCAL.

Holy Wow! I am a real estate broker and I met with Stormie and the Yokel Local team this week. My website really needs some refining and more importantly better visibility on Google. **UPDATE AFTER SERVICE** So the work has been completed on my site and also included the filming of a commercial in their studio. Lets start with the web, I really didn't realize how much was behind the scenes that I didnt know. They were very patient with me and showed me all they had done. Also, they took a mediocre me in front of a green screen and made me look like a million bucks with video, music, images, etc. I am amazed at how well this commercial came out and I can't wait to make it go live! I will refer all my business to them!

They also offer extras such as free website analysis, discounts for green screen use, and a free dvd with all of the pictures taken from your store.

I can't speak to their courses, but what I can speak to is they are a rip off of a marketing company. We paid $2500 for an initial first month set-up fee and a contracted 3 month marketing plan of $750 per month. They're geniuses where they require you to pay BEFORE the month of service begins. After the first month of service, we were concerned because we were not seeing the promised first month "deliverables" as outlined in our contract. Hoping for an improved 2nd month, at the end of the second month, we had still not seen the services they promised in monthly deliverables. The owner, Darrell was very defensive and refused to show us proof. Samples of the deliverables were posts on social media, email marketing, ad design, back end targeted marketing. The only deliverable they had was the target marketing - NONE of the other! After seeing we were not getting anywhere and Darrell's response to our concern when we sent him the contract was, "The contract is a 'sample' of our service - you're supposed to watch the video." We were SHOCKED! Our response was simple, "We didn't sign a video, we signed a contract!". We asked for an immediate halt of services which happened only after they charged us for the third month and closed our account. We provided all evidence and contract to our bank and were just informed Yokel Local is refusing to provide evidence of service to our bank....and now begins the 60+ days of an "escalated process". These people will RIP YOU OFF! Something our small business really suffered from. Don't trust them or their contract. They know exactly how to take your money and keep running from the bank.

I was referred to Yokel Local by a cyber security specialist.. Although my business size isn't suited for the company services, he was extremely helpful with guidance.
