My grandchildren and l had a delightful time. Someone on the ground floor was on his phone which was very distacting during Moon Mouse -- we were watching from the upper box seats. An usher quickly went and spoke to the person and the phone was put away. The issue was solved immediately and l didn't have to say a word. Thank you for such an attentive and thoughtful staff.

This was my first show here and it was a really nice theater. It was nice and cool inside and all of the employees were great. It's also worth nothing that I got bottles of water for 3 bucks each. Which isn't exactly a deal, but for a theater, it's pretty good.

Always a great time at the Gallo!! Went to see the opera, Madama Butterfly by Modesto's own Townsend Opera company. The show was excellent and there's never a bad seat at the Gallo Center.

Nice, clean theatre. Seats were comfortable, lighting and sound were good. The staff was organized and very nice. We were there for a field trip so tons of kids, and they kept everyone very organized in and out.

Just left the Lance Burton show at the Gallo Center. Let me just say how disappointed I was with the show, it was the worst magic show I have ever seen. There were no big magic tricks, definitely nothing to brag about. They should have advertised it as a kid show because it was a ripoff for adults.

Seats are all good and they are comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can purchase wine and beer in a reusable "sippy cup" which is allowed while watching the performance. Great mix of shows offered.

Great theater - it's intimate, but grand. The theater seats 1200 and every seat has a good view with great acoustics all around. There are some wonderful events and performances -- see their website for their listing.

Great small venue for concerts and other shows. The largest room holds just under 1300 seats. Even from the last row in the balcony you can still see a performers emotions if you don't have poor eye site. The only drawback to the floor seating is that it did not look as if they had a standing room. So this would not want to go here for a rock or EDM show, and I don't think they would host many here. Concessions are reasonably priced compared to larger venues in the SF bay area.

The Gallo Center for the Arts is our home away from home! The center has provided life changing opportunities for our local talent and brings phenomenal entertainment to our city. We are grateful for all you do! We love the docents, coordinators and backstage staff. A magical and brilliant addition to Modesto. Kalea and Yolanda

Staff is very helpful and the theaters are very nice. They have wheelchair access and they are very accommodating. The least expensive seats are on the top, but I find them excellent. There in my opinion the best seats in the house. You can see everything just as well as if not better than the front row.

I usually attend ballet performances of central west ballet school being held mostly in December known as nutcracker month and enjoy every moment of either performance and the exhibition of christmas ornaments in the lobby.

I'm was very impressed with the quality of the seating, and the sound system. Although I was not impressed with the way security treated me and my wife. Apparently we were thought to be a couple of panhandlers or something like that. We were told that we couldn't hangout in front of the building. All we were doing was sitting on a bench waiting for another couple to meet up with before we went in to see the show. The problem was solved once we showed them our tickets. What really upset us was we were dressed casual, and well groomed. I mean dam how could we possibly be mistaken for a couple of homeless people ? NOT COOL !!!

The Gallo center is a pretty nice place. They have a small and big theatre, both with decent acoustics and comfortable seats. They have had some pretty great shows come through, and the few shows I've been able to attend were great. If you want to see a show, it is a decent option.

Was disappointed in the seating. Online showed our seats were in front middle row ...we get there and find out were not...was not too happy about this for what I paid for my tickets. Having said that... MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 LIVE was hilarious. Laughed from beginning to the end. #MST3Klive

Only been here once to see the Broadway show Beauty and the Beast. It's actually a very nice place. The seats are comfortable and seemed like all seats had good view of the stage. The ticket price were not that bad. They do have an area where they sell drinks including alchohol. I would definitely return to watch another play, concert, etc.

This place is so awesome. I've seen off Broadway plays, music entertainment, and comedy shows. They appeal more to an upper middle class middle aged or older adult, and young children. They mostly feature symphonies, stage plays, ballet, contemporary music, and clean comedy. They do feature cultural arts for the Hispanic community. This is not a place where you will find many international superstars or current big names. They don't offer hip-hop, rap, metal, or today's country. You'll mostly find B list musicians that were popular in the 80's or 90's that have mostly gone into obscurity. I do wish that they offered more variety for the younger crowds so that you don't have to travel up north, to the bay area, or down south for a good concert. Perhaps someday they will broaden their horizons. Also, seating is a little cramped depending on where you sit as in you can't really stand and dance during musical performances. Tickets are moderately priced and worth it as I have yet to attend a show here that I did not enjoy. I've seen Whose Line Live, The Brian Setzer Orchestra Rockin' Christmas, a Broadway play in which they made fun of the most popular Broadway plays (Scandalous Broadway?), Jay and Silent Bob Get Old, and One Night with Queen. I would definitely go back to more performances in the future. I hope someday I can catch The Beach Boys, but that show is ALWAYS sold out!

I really love the shows Gallo puts on. My husband and I went to see a comedy show and an Irish Christmas show, all were beautifully arranged and the tickets weren't too expensive. Searing was a little cramped like, but despite that it was really comfortable

The theater seating was amazing! Great sound system and overall had a great time. However, tickets are somewhat expensive, starting at around $40. The Gallo Arts Center is beautiful at night! PROS: great shows, nice auditorium, beautiful theater. CONS: expensive ticket prices
