Watched the house full show "The Rumors" on a Sunday afternoon for 15$. The stage was well lit and the theatre is acoustically designed. The overall look and feel of the building is very modern and rich. This is a great free for theater and musicals. The staff were very excited and cheerful. There was one intermission and the drinks were expensive since the cups cost 2$ more. We had to park in a parking lot in downtown.
Big, clean, theater with good acoustics. My experience as a performer was disappointing as the dressing room space was too small for the size of our group.
Lynn Dickerson stated in the Art Center magazine (which by way has gotten smaller and smaller) that it costs 11,000 a day to run the facility. I say show us the receipts, since that's the justification for fees added to already high ticket costs. Visited 2 years ago and not been back, as the acts have gotten less and less worthy of my money.
Acoustics are phenomenal and the center attracts quality shows and music of all kinds.

This event center is a great location to visit and watch live shows and to listen to amazing music performed by Modestos Orchestra or by talent on tour and more. Definitely recommend this venue if your wanting entertainment. They do also serve beer and wine for the adults and a small assortment of snacks and drinks as well.

Great selection of shows from high culture to pop culture. Not a bad seat in the house, and there are usually options within our price range. (It's nice not having to say, "All right, kiddos, you can either experience culture and innovative performance art OR I can help you pay for college, but not both. What's it gonna be?") Love, love, love having the Gallo here in the valley.
Have been here for various events and always impressed as to how organized and professional the staff is. Not to mention how wonderful the events and entertainers are. Love this place.

The center is lovely and well taken care of. I like the variety of shows they offer, especially during the holidays. Staff is always friendly and the theaters are always clean. A great addition to downtown Modesto.

I went to support my 3yo niece and was pleasantly surprised by the outside of the building when first approaching. The landscaping is on point and lovely for visiting. I always enjoyed attending any event hosted by 5,6,7,8 dance and I'm glad they had an audience big enough for the Gallo center. The seats are comfy and I had a lovely view of my niece trying to fix her bunny ears for a solid 2 minutes. I would go again.
Very nice interior design. There's snack and drink sales inside. It's a non profit center.

A beacon of the Arts in the desolate Central Valley. Two excellent stages and an overall awesome venue. The volunteer ushers are very welcoming and the staff is great. I have attended concerts, shows, stand ups, and everything is showcased wonderfully. Make sure to arrive early to grab some close street parking, it s unlimited free after 6pm.
The seets are comfy and the ushers let me find my assigned seat. The seating in the first row of parterre is an adequate viewing capability if you have you lenses prescription current if you need corrective lenses, of course.

Nice theater and good parking near by but the seats need to be wider or at least allow the arms to move out of the way. It's almost as bad as airline seating.

This it's a beautiful theater. I have seen 2 concerts and one comedy show and it has a very acoustic feeling to the place and every close to the artists worth to see anybody live here!

We were here with a school group. It s always crowded with lots of kids. The staff always has everything organized and everyone is helpful and friendly.

This place is beautiful, we came to see Elvis and me an evening with Priscilla Presley. It was amazing two thumbs up to the night .
The center is very clean and well decorated kind of upscale establishment the seats are comfortable and there are three theaters inside the center they have a concession stand inside with alcoholic beverages that you can purchase but the staff all of them were wonderful very very helpful informative knowledgeable and just all over pleasant to interact with! We went to see Tyler Henry Hollywood psychic medium and it was such a great show at such a nice place!!

I have been to the Gallo Center around ten times over fifteen years, and it only gets better. There is a good selection of parking as well as location in Modesto. The feeling when you enter is excitement and the staff is very helpful. The seats are comfortable and the venue is beautiful. I will be back again and visiting is always a pleasure.
Lovely venue, first time experience was a day showing with local elementary schools. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms clean. Will return for an evening performance with the Wifey
Two sets of grandparents enjoyed a Norman Foote experience featuring one of our own. I feel younger and richer just because of the kind hospitality of all attendants. The beautiful facility seems to just grow more wonderful each event.

We have been fans of Scotty McCreery since we saw him on American Idol. We were looking forward to seeing and hearing him and we did see him and hear him but not that well. The loud music and the bright lights were a distraction. Our desires would have been for a stool a spotlight and acoustic guitar. We are senior citizens and we understand from the noise in the crowd that most of the people there we're loving it. We love Gallo performances. Thank you for bringing us such good entertainment.
