This place is a joke!! They work their employees literally, to death. They do not care about their health or mental wellness. They are so strict on their call off policy, like you cannot have a life outside of Yamada. Nor can you be sick or lose a loved one without them threatening your position.

With the talk of bringing a union in, the managers flirting with their associates, and the lack of common decency I m very unsurprised that this company has a terribly low turnover rate. I worked there for a year when my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and they wouldn t approve any type of leave for me to take so that I could assist him in getting to his chemo appointments, etc. They train you on the machines and then won t let you advance your career, instead they hire people off the streets to fill team lead and management positions. They give you vacation time and then punish you for using it by treating you with disrespect when you get back. If you can handle low raises with an excellent track record, people demeaning you and getting away with it, and you want to be stuck on an assembly line working 12 hour days 7 days a week, you will thrive in their environment!

Great learning experience! There is a lot to progress your mind and skills with if you take it serious. Pay is on the lower end with lots of overtime. Excellent co-workers and supervisors tho. Deffinitely a thumbs up.
