An integral memorial for the preservation of history and somewhere I visit whenever I can. The main entrance structure itself is built to look like a gas chamber to evoke how people felt back in war when entering one and so from the very moment you enter, you feel the weight of history. It is very emotional but a must see nonetheless

Extremely impressive place to remind us of the darkest chapter in German history. We as Germans are taught about Holocaust quite much at school, but visiting Yad Vashem many of the presented historical facts were new to us and gave us a new perspective. And also the architectonic arrangement of the main exhibition hall is remarkably impressive: The closer you get to the end the more horrible are the presented events. The construction doesn't allow you to walk directly to the end of the main hall, which is great because this way the visitor has to undergo the whole history and can't just pass it without taking notice. Visiting this place is a must, especially for Germans!

It's so important to get to the museum, twice, because I think it's hard and long to see everything in one day. The exhibits are well arranged and clear. Comfortable shoes and warm clothing are recommended for those who suffer from air conditioners

Impressive, is not only a museum, is a memorial, immense, has videos made by the Nazis themselves, utensils, photos and at the end of a chilling tribute sacrificed children, worth the visit.

Very nice and free museum about the Holocaust. Breathtaking. Even though the museum is the big attraction do not leave outside of you visit the numerous monuments around the museum and in the same complex. The shrine of the kids is a must.

With this said, it is very similar to other Holocaust museums, although amazing there is nothing new if you have visited others, such the temporary exposition in Madrid about Auschwitz (2018, is the most recent I've visited), the expositions in concentration and extermination camps and especially the Holocaust museum in Berlin.

Also the museum itself is usually crowded, the sorrounding park it is not .

Wonderful tribute to those who suffered persecution and death during the Holocaust. The exhibits and architecture definitely add the respect for these innocent victims who endured such horror!

Yad Vashem, a place that even controls it dozens of times, for several hours at a time. You have not seen or heard a few of the few that are in it. This is a place that every person, regardless of nationality, of all countries of all religions must visit. So that such a period would never come back.

The Holocaust Museum is very well made. Informs well-arranged, helps with emotions, honors the memory of the fallen and murdered. I was there for the second time and I would check there again. I highly recommend.

Yad Vashem is a museum and a monument also known as a Mount of Remembrance established in 1953. I really appreciate all those who put this place together in recognizing non jews who at personal risk and without a financial motive, chose to save jews from the ongoing genocide during the holocaust. This place contains the holocaust history museum, children's memorial and hall of remembrance, the museum of holocaust art, sculptures, outdoor commemorative sites, a synagogue, a research institute, a library and so on. Its the second most visited Israeli tourist site and no fee is charge here

Beautifully situated on a mountain hill with partly completely new, reduced, adapted to the theme of architecture. The exhibition itself is very moving. Photos, films, documents, objects make history come alive again. Very many visitors, young and old.

This complex is really huge. The museum is very impressive, a beautiful construction with a lot of information about the course of the Holocaust. Not something you just walk through quickly or lightly. Unfortunately I didn't have time for everything outside anymore; you need at least 2-3 hours for the museum itself. Despite the advice of Google Maps, you can walk here within 5 minutes from the end point of tram line L1, which is easy and quick to reach. Admission is free.
