XV Beacon Hotel Review

The combination of a gorgeous room and full room service from Moooo... made for a perfect Valentine's Day getaway. Everything was wonderful right down to our dog loving all the biscuits.

I spent the night here on a work trip. Had a great experience (free shoe shine in the morning, but no iron in the room, you'll have to request it from the front desk).

Overall phenomenal service, they took care of everything. Great amenities, but the gym is pretty small. Rooms are really nice, but slightly dimly lit at night.

The room was otherwise great! I was in the "Studio" which was very spacious, the fireplace was a great touch.

Didn't have the chance to check out the restaurant, but I have heard good things.

Would absolutely stay here again!

Great spot. Use to stay here regularly in the early 2000 s and actually had our wedding here (the first ever held at the hotel). On a recent trip to Boston I decided to stay here again. Glad I did.

Though the rooms are a little smaller than I would like the furnishings, amenities and service is impeccable. Best of all if you stay in a premium room you get the use of their hotel limo to take you around Boston. It's a wonderful stretched Mercedes with all of the goodies! Our driver Charles was impeccably dressed in a chauffeur uniform and performed his duties as one would expect of a fine bespoke valet.

The room rates are a little pricey but if you are looking to treat yourself it's well worth the cost. Comparable to the Four Season or Ritz Carlton but you get more value (like the limo service). Great spot to stay if your doing the annual comic con held in Boston as it s a short ride to the venue.

We had such a wonderful anniversary visit, returning to XV Beacon where we spent the first night of our honeymoon!

There are no details overlooked in pursuit of luxury and comfort. Frette linens, a soaking tub and scented bath salts, gas fireplace, great jazz channel on the tv (real jazz, not elevator music!)

One upgrade we really enjoyed was the new roof deck. City views, beautiful plantings attracting mesmerizing pollinators, comfy reclining deck chairs, the gold dome of the state house was almost close enough to touch. We enjoyed it tremendously.

The welcome bubbles and handwritten note from the GM wishing us a happy anniversary was unexpected and much appreciated. As well were treated to a free upgrade and I think they may have even given us the room we spent the first night in.

We live in Boston but for those not familiar with the city, this location is fantastic. You're in historic Beacon Hill, great for strolling and window shopping, steps from the Public Garden and Boston Common. Car service was gracious and allowed us to relax without worry about getting home.

The customer service I received from XV Beacon Hotel while planning my elopement was amazing! We ended up having to cancel and that process was seamless, which was so appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel and their awesome team.

I have stayed at XV Beacon twice and both times my stay has been exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and unique, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I had a group stay for a business meeting and they all raved about what a great experience they had. I can't wait to go back!

We first stayed here on our wedding night. We returned 16-years later and rediscovered the magic that is XV Beacon. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We loved our fireplace and jetted tub in our beautiful guest room. Hotel staff were so attentive and lovely, making us feel special. In-Room dining was spectacular. Not too many places offer caviar service and foie gras we enjoyed both in our guest room! And the two-level roof deck was perfect for watching the sunset over our beautiful city. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Bravo to Amy and her team for maintaining a gorgeous boutique hotel! We will not wait 16-years to return!

The location and the atmosphere in this establishment is top notch. Gorgeous view of the common and state building within a 5 minute walk. Food was decadent plus a well stocked mini fridge is always a plus!! Excellent room overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to those who enjoy the finer things in life!!
