Fiber in a day! This is regarding XS' fiber internet service. My company moved into one of buildings in downtown Eugene that are wired for the new fiber internet. We started with another provider, only to end up waiting for two weeks with no internet, while they kept trying to get us going. By word of a friend, XS came in, checked out the issue, and set us up with fiber -- literally all in the same day. The techs were friendly and knowledgeable. Speedtest confirms our new blazing-fast connection. Thanks guys!

The Internet connection for this evening has been horrible. It has been disconnecting reconnecting disconnecting reconnecting. I've tried calling the customer service support line but it says all circuits are busy or it rings one time and disconnects. This is not good customer service!

They advertise 24/7 customer service this is not true.

I can t believe I m going to say this, but Comcast...

I can t believe I m going to say this, but Comcast has better reliability then this ISP. Every single day my internet goes down about roughly 4-6 times between morning, afternoon, and night. I live in an apartment that installed this company s internet and it has been nothing but an unreliable headache. Multiple complaints from tenets and work orders has been submitted but nothing has been done to fix the issue. Thanks XS media!

I've edited this because Steven at XSMedia has addressed my issue with great concern and excellent tact. I was extremely frustrated with my service due to off and on connection issues at very inopportune times (i'm a serious gamer). After dealing with it for over a month, I was at the point of just cancelling my service and taking whatever penalty i might incur. He's adjusted my bill quite graciously and promised me he will have my issue completely resolved in the very near future or they will allow me to leave without any penalty. Thanks again Steven. You made a not so happy customer happy again, and i hope we can make this a non issue.

XS Media has provided exceptional customer service...

XS Media has provided exceptional customer service and an amazingly fast and reliable connection. We have over 14,000 sq ft that we need to cover and make sure everyone can get a stable, fast connection anywhere they are in our space. Stephen and his crew came in and helped us figure out the best equipment to provide the most reliable connection, installed it and continue to maintain everything for us so we can be sure we have the best internet available.

We've had XS Media as our commercial internet provider for the past three years. They have also run all of the required cabling for two office buildouts for us. They have always gone the extra mile when providing service. One of my favorite things is that I can get a local person on the phone without going through a massive phone tree to help me right away when I have questions. It's a huge difference in customer service between the business accounts I've had other places.

I used 3 different fiber services in past 3 years and at 2 different locations. This company's service is pricey and when there is a disconnection, it took them at least 3 days to send out service. Won't come back after the contract end.

You talk about AWESOME customer service! Then numerous times I had called and asked questions or for help, there was a quick turn around to solve the problem. They are very honest and good hearted people. They want to help the community. The worker that came out to install the hardware was so nice and polite. I highly recommend them. Know you will be able to talk to a PERSON to problem solve.

Don t use if you are a rural customer! Charges over $130 per month for unlimited internet , but slows down internet speed after 5pm so you can t watch streaming movies or some websites. Works fine before 5 when we are all at work and not home to use it much.

Absolutely terrible. Internet won t load Facebook won t load Instagram. Neighbors have same provider. Internet works just fine. Call multiple times and no one seems to care to look into. It s all fine on my end they say. Finally get ahold of someone in 24/7 tech support who cares to look. Finds latency issues and he can t schedule an appt to send someone out. It needs to be an admin. What a joke. Stay away from this company. Terrible internet and terrible customer service.

The simple page to submit this Google review took over 30 seconds to load. This ISP drops out 10-20 times a day. I have called over 8 times and they tell me the same thing every time. Going to give them one more call Monday. If they cannot fix I m switching. So frustrating! Only reason they get 2 stars is they do have mostly professional people answering phones.

Update: Miles and the team and XS Media went above and beyond to get me up and running. Now we have 20down speeds in the middle of the countryside! We have three streaming sources running at the same time without a problem! Thank you

Wanted to share my recent XS Media experience as an example of great service:

I'm on a residential fiber connection, and I noticed that my speeds were slow, about 80-100 Mbps down/up when I was paying for 1 Gbps. Called their service line and reached Alex, who had me do some troubleshooting. When that didn't work a ticket was escalated, and I was told I may receive a call later in the day, but likely would get a response in a few days. To my surprise I got a call back in about 30 minutes from Kyle. After a maybe 10 minute phone conversation, Kyle was able to identify the issue and resolve it, and my speeds wen't right back up to 1 Gbps. Great support from both Alex and Kyle!

This company is the local sales, installation, and...

This company is the local sales, installation, and service provider for Exede satellite internet. I contacted Exede due to an outage, and they arranged a service call and quoted me $30 for the service. XS came out and fixed the issue in just a few minutes, and told me the charge was going to be $99. I emailed XS and asked them why there was such a large discrepancy in charges but never got a response. I called, and the service person said he doesn't know why there was a difference but he would have a manager call me back promptly. I never got a call back. I called Exede again and they assured me that they were having a promotion, and I would indeed only be charged $30. I'm tired of having my time wasted by these companies with service so bad that they can't even return calls and emails.

Are you frustrated with your current ISP and tired of waiting on hold? Does your landline crackle and hum, charge you for long distance calls? We are soooooo glad we found XS-Media. XS-Media is honestly THE BEST internet service available to us, and XS-Talk is the BEST landline phone service we have EVER had!
We SAVE $29 a month for the package. That's $348 savings a year, not even including the free long-distance savings. Add it up.
XS-Media's customer service techs are all polite and very quick to answer our questions. Hassle-free! It's a no-brainer win/win for all. We watch streaming youtube HD1080p video flawlessly. The XS-Talk VOIP telephone service has ALL the options including free calls within the U.S. (IMHO Skype has poor sound quality in comparision) and you get to use a normal telephone set. Save $$$ and switch! I can testify, And yes, this is a REAL REVIEW by a real happy customer. J.L. in rural Lane County
