First time trying this place out and it was good. The place is beautiful and it has plenty of seating space, the waiter was very attentive and nice. We were sitting outside and asked to come inside because it was too cold and they eventually moved us inside. The drinks were really good and refreshing, the food was delicious and had some good taste. I was kind of bummed out because I ordered the shrimp mole and it was only 3 shrimps which to me ir ridiculous for the prices but oh well. This place is good.!

I've know about Xochi for years, but was honestly a bit intimidated to ever actually visit. After putting it off for so long I decided it was finally time to give it a try, and I must say I'm impressed. Xochi specializes in creative Oaxacan Mexican food with many mole and chocolate dishes. I was particularly impressed with their pulpo (octopus) and their brisket-mole enchiladas. Worth the visit.

We stayed in the Marriott Marquis Houston, and I already had Xochi on the list, when I came downstairs to go out for dinner Xochi was there!!
Xochi (pronounced so-chee) means to bloom or catch fire, the menu was so extensive we ordered a bunch of plates, even though it was semi fine dining it was really great value!
Each dish was as pretty as the next!

Excellent service, delicious food & great cocktails! Our servers were lovely, attentive and patiently answered all our questions whilst giving us great recommendations. It's a lovely place for a nice (if slightly pricey) evening out. Would definitely go back

Our group enjoyed an excellent dinner here. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the cuisine and was also able to give us some history of the food and restaurant. Each dish was unique and we enjoyed a few menu items that we had never tried before. The cocktails were also unique and tasty. Great experience. Can't wait to go back.

The food is beautifully presented but definitely still a hotel restaurant. I thought I was crazy for thinking that things needed more salt even though it was pretty flavorful. Definitely get a Mezcal cocktail and hope you re seated in the main dining room.

Had an early dinner here this past weekend and the place was very clean and servers were attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was interesting that they served bugs with the food. I tried all of them and they were surprisingly tasty. I m only giving 4 stars because when we were leaving the valet tried to just hand us our keys and pointed to our car down the street. That s not how valet is supposed to work.
