Xavier High School is fantastic for many reasons. Engaging and challenging academically, but with a focus on the whole person. There's a strong commitment to community service as well.

Outstanding high school! Consistently placing 99% of graduates to Ivy, military, and Jesuit colleges and universities for almost 170 years. Nationally ranked ROTC program, nationally ranked Rugby program, strong music and arts program. A sampling of graduates include US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, NYC Mayor Jimmy Walker, Jersey City Mayor Jeremiah Healy, NBC President Frank Comerford, NBC personality Al Roker, Today Show anchor Mike Gargiulo, former Anheuser Busch president Pat Stokes, New York Times writer Dave Anderson, and US Ambassador to the Phillipines, Alberto Del Rosario. Proof is in the pudding!

This is an awesome High School so very glad we made the decision to come here. Excellent!!!!

Class of '57, back in the day of mandatory JROTC and strict adherence to Loyola's "ratio studiorum" (4 years of Latin ). Neither did me any harm in later life.

Outstanding school. High academic standards with diverse course offerings and extracurriculars.

Rigorous academics, talented athletes and coaches, and exceptional arts. However, none of that matters when certain faculty members who trudge around as if wondering where in their life they went wrong, repeatedly harass students taking their pent up frustration out on them.
