loved it the people are very nice never had a problem gave birth twice in this hospital and had a great experience

I have two beautiful twins because of Wyckoff Heights! From my first emergency room visit till the day I gave birth, and all prenatal care was here. Granted the staff is definitely annoying, the waiting room at the Women's clinic is UNREAL ( I'm talking hours EVERY visit) and it is a "teaching hospital". The doctors everyone is referring to are med students, still in med school. They are rotated very six weeks to a new unit. I saw a ton of them, having twins attracts attention. The maternity ward was great and we had a private room. They always came in and checked on me and the babies, almost too many times. The nursery was great and all of their nurses were pleasant to us! But if you're having a baby, don't go to their women's clinic, just terrible, go to a doctor that delivers there.

Honestly this hospital is so horrible my daughter gave birth on Wednesday she supposed to get discharged today and that was supposed to happen at 11am and it s 3pm and she is still waiting for the papers for the baby to get done so she can leave

One of the most disgusting unprofessional facilities I ve ever been to. Everything is so dirty and outdated. I went to use the bathroom in the triage ER area and of course there was no tissue and had the pleasure of watching a roach crawl More

this is the worst hospital ever. they almost killed me. i had a surgery and they left me in the emergency room for more then 14 hours and the infection almost reached my blood. DON'T RISK YOUR LIFE EVER OR EVEN GO CLOSE TO THAT HOSPITAL!!!

I had never felt so disrespected as a patient as I did at Wyckoff Heights. They were incredibly dismissive of my symptoms and did not even perform regular monitoring of my vitals. And to top it all off, they charged me for services I did not receive.

They took care of my baby so fast today i love it there

This is the worst hospital ever. I took my 85 year old mother here because she had a fever and vomiting and wasn t seen for hours after asking for help. I would never come here again.

I was in ICU and the care was wonderful the nurse were great and the doctors were. Also great I had wonderful care there

Wyckoff womens medical clinic is by far the worst ever. I been coming here during my entire pregnancy now 34 weeks, not once did I have a smooth experience with an appointment. The DRs are good, the only reason why i did continue to come, and bc they are affiliated with the hospital where im having the baby. Anyways the other staff, front desk, appointment makers, suck. Your guatanteed to spend ur whole day at the office, waiting in the lobby. Over packed with appointments and their system with loggin ppl in and getting ppl in with the DRs. Suck. They over book. N the front deskk are like "duhhhh" so not helpful. I would never ever reccomend this place or come back.

Like many hospitals in NYC waiting is always ab issue for so many..I've been going to wyckoff hospital for many years and it's come a long way, staff is mostly on top of their game and most of the doctors are attentive and caring as are the nurses...like most places you go for service you wait and hope all goes well..so be patient be polite and things can possibly go well and you'll be in and out.

I came here after a botched surgery. Doctor Rowe untwisted my intestines,remove feces from my stomach, and did the Bill Roth surgery over again

Worst hospital. I took my daughter to emergency. no doctor was there. I realised doctor are not visiting the hospital due to covid 19 situation. Hospital force poor nurses and poor medical students to do the job and take care of everything. I saw by my eyes that they do not test anyone and covid 19 exposure is hight in this hospital. Do not visit this hospital if you are going to save yourself or a family member do not go to this hospital. this is a hell place for nurses and medical students since no doctors shows up. it's not a complain it's a warning about this place. The doctor name was sha. He is so rude.

Dead cockroaches under the doctor s table. Dirt EVERYWHERE. Although, the staff was good, but we had to wait forever to check in.

Came here for severe dehydration and I enjoyed my stay here while being admitted.

I worked there in it's operating room as a clerk for many years and they have some of the best physicians and nurses in the business. An awesome group of professionals.

Well got to the emergency room and it took 3 1/2 hours to get seen be a doctor and there was no information of what's going on.
Then no one is coming to check up on the patient or give any pain meds. I wouldn't come to this hospital.

Worse hospital in USA , my roomate got hit by a car very bad, unfortunately the ambulance took her to this hospital . They let her go after 4 hours when she couldn t even remember yet where she was. Didn t even clean her open wounds .

A nurse that works here, told my best friend false information about her health. My best friend and I were highly devastated thinking she had something that turned out to be UNTRUE once my best friend asked her assigned doctor. This is totally unprofessional and SICK. There are real people with real diseases that tackles real issues and depression everyday. Thank God that my friend is fine, but to be told that is scary and horrifying.

Worst hospital ever. I come in with a bleeding and I am pregnant. The doctor Tiffany Fieldings sent the nurse to discharge me without even giving me a diagnosis. And the nurse goes I m sure everything is fine, if it was bad they would ve spoken to you already. What kind of care is this. We re talking about a human life growing inside me. They should shut this trashy hospital down and fire those doctors too. What a shame.

Don t come here if you care about your life. My pulmonary doctor lost important paper work of mine. Staff is rude and my primary doctor was very dismissive of my symptoms. I found out weeks later it was something very serious.
I truly believe if I had not switched hospitals I would ve died here at Wyckofff.

This hospital has gotten bad due to practicing doctors at time misdiagnosis people or trying to discharge people asap and in reality you come in sick and you leave worst .I don't recommend people to go to this hospital.I've had bad experiences.these doctor's need refresher courses and some nurses they can be rude.

I visited this hospital a few times in a year .I could say I went to a few hospital and the service is excellent , take great care and always call to remind you of your appointed. ..this is best and will always come here.

I waited for 5 hrs to be seen .....so unprofessional I came 2pm waited for registration 30 mins which was not bad then had to wait 1 and a half hour to be called for vitals another 1and a half hour for the doctor to see the patient and another 1 hour for them to get the medication or shot and another hour for discharge paper ...... U get more sick and ur child keeps saying he wants to sleep nope they wouldn't provide a bed where he could at least rest uncomfortably since he is sick and another hour for discharge paper worst hospital ever and u paying out of pocket

I had an infant of 2 months come in with a fever and had to wait 7 hours!!!! I can never understand how this is possible. Came to the hospital right after work, seems like the doctor had me compete his whole shift with him. Can t believe this. Please take your children to another hospital. I m addition, they only checked his temperature once out of the 7 hours!

My daughter had surgery on the 4th floor. The staff in the recovery room where very very attentive. Treated my daughter with TLC and respect. That same night she was transferred to the 10th imcu unit. She was treat beautifully, very attentive. All staff members work has a team. They are very personal and caring. At first I was not sure about the hospital, but if I had to choose again. I would chose Wyckoff hospital. Thank you so much to all the staff. On the 4th, 5 and 10th floor

Sat for over 3 hours till we actually saw a doctor. 3 HOURS IN THE ER.

I honestly should of just stood home suffering. I came in at 5 am there was only 3 people including myself, I got tested. They lost my results... they had to put me through a painful testing yet again. I was told to wait for results...I waited 2 hours. I asked the receptionist how long cause I m waiting terribly long and I don t even feel well enough to sit up he tells me to go to the back and ask myself. When I go to the back all these nurses and doctors are chatting in a circle lighting and sharing coffee. Fast track is NOT FAST. 5 hours in and still no help, no service , nothing. They care about the money they ll be getting out of this not the patient!

They must change the qualification of Hospital and put it to slaughterhouse, this hospital is a shame for the USA it seems a medical center of a country of the third world, horrible horrible and the Doctors disrespect you and then they tell you that by the language you do not understand how we are Indians

A very important hospital for the area. Good service, but the emergency is slow to attend to most of the cases. Although the visit to sick inmates has a comfortable and flexible schedule.

From the Womens clinic to the actual hospital. They all really work hard to stay a team. Dr. Faustine was my high risk doctor. I was also seen by Dr. Cortez, Dr. Leing, Dr. Webb and Dr. Galuke. They had a wondeful team when I had to deliver my twins. The anesthesiologist was even very kind. The operating room was cold with high energy to take my stress level down. Afterwards the room was spacious and the nurse's and staff were excellent. I had heard so many negative things that I was afraid. However my experience totally outweighed every other negative comment that I heard. The waiting room is small and needs work but the staff was amazing and the rooms were comfortable. And the food was amazing. Shortly I brought my son in for constipation to the pediactrics emergency. He was seen quickly. They were kind and attentive. We had no problems at all and felt very special.

Very bad customer service I called 10 times to try to make an appointment to do the corona virus test and the person on the phone disconnected all my calls, very rude and very unprofessional eww nasty!

This hospital is the worst hospital you go to the nurse was races and rude. There was two nurses that was taking care of me one was nice the other was races. Get a second opinion when going to the kids ER. They are unorganized and different doctors telling you different things. They don t communicate well with each other. They are not managed well. Nurses are rude. They don t explain well and when I went to a different hospital I got different results. They handle it badly.

I had my own room . So many nurses , doctors and people checking on me. NICU took awesome care of my twins for 3 months and regain them back too great health I thank you so much for everything you did for my twin boys if it wasn't for you guys they wouldn't be here today !

This hospital is the nearest to me so i ended up taking my younger brother here for breathing problems. Once we were inside the ped ward there was only two nurses that were attentive to the patients there. The nurse that was assigned to us was sitting behind the desk for hours just chatting and looking bored. When he finally came into exam my brother he looked like he did not want to be there. It was a physicians assistant that attended to him. Then he ordered he get an xray and a ecg. The nurse techinician that performed the ecg looked really ederly she told my little brother that he needed to shave before coming to the hospital because hes really hairy and it makes it harder for the staff. Who does that hes a 16 year old going through puberty whos sick how was he going to have time to shave. After she performed the ecg she nodded her head and said that he needed to lay off of pepper and spicy food so I responded saying he doesnt eat that kind of food so she again repeated the same thing without even giving a reason why she would say that. They didnt prescribe him anything and told him to take motrin for pain. Worst hospital suprised i didnt die when i got appendix removed here. There needs to be better hospital staff because its hard for people who live in the area to go anywhere else but here

Worst hospital. doctors are on their phones and do not bother to help nurse or medical students. worst place to be sick and get service. do not go there. it's a warning. My son was in pain and i was sitting there at the middle of the night and the doctor was so rude.they were calling him "shaa" or something like that. this guy was on his phone all the time and was rude to me and everyone else in there. I had to scream at him to put his phone away and give a medicine to my son.

The worst hospital ever I didn't go on a packed day and they still were horriable considering that I was pregnant with my first child and the father of my child couldn't see my baby! On the sonogram was the worst experience ever and sitting next to a women who was screaming her life away and throwing up I dislike this hospital and would never go here again !! Was in the ER from 5all the way for 10 and people were getting called before me and I was ahead of all the people who was being seen what made it worst they didn't come back to Check on me confirm anything with me or anything!!

A big thank you to my wonderful doctor Omrou Alchyib and his team in the Delivery Room & Maternity for an unforgettable experience just few days ago when I had my baby here. Also, this hospital has the most wonderful, kind & helpful person as a Lactation Councelor, Diana, so grateful to meet her.

Your staff is garbage and the entire hospital should be shut down. Dimly lit, unsanitary and poorly kept facilities with the most unwelcoming staff. No matter what time I come here, everyone seems to be overtired and disappointed with their career choices. No one greets you or introduces themselves. They give unguided directions leaving you to wander aimlessly through the halls looking for your destination. Staff is more concerned with mingling and sharing their personal business rather than assisting patients. We visited the pediatric ER and no one greeted my child with a smile. No stickers or cartoons that make the place feel welcoming for sick children. The triage nurse repeated coughed all over our station as she attempted to check vitals and mumbled to herself. Wyckoff is a disgrace. Come here when you're ready to keel over and die that way you won't really notice the poor service.

Went to the ER with my mom for a couple of times, everytime she goes we have to deal with a surprise bill. We provide all the information to the front desk every single visit and we still end up getting a bill. The billing department lacks professionalism. When you call the number on the bill they can t even give you accurate information. It s Disappointing.

Was in this clinic to pass tests. Rudeness on every corner. The staff discusses their personal problems and affairs and nobody cares. I waited to get tested for about 1.5 hours. It was the worst service in my life.

I came by ambulance because my daughter cut her finger with a knife, I can t control the blood So I called the ambulance, patients who came after us they all ready passed

(February 22nd , 2020 afternoon-to the evening) I would give it no stars , I had been taken to the emergency room by emt and let me say this the staff in there don t care for there patients at all . I really don t know how they even got hired and this hospital needs to be under investigation. I been treated very poorly , I was feeling faint , breathing hard , crying , it s been 3 hours before someone came to help and they didn t do anything but ask what s wrong and put IV meanwhile they already have report from EMT on why I was brought there . They ignore my son when I ask him can he get help for me , they through me a gown and said to put it on and take off my shirt .. but I noticed the gown was used when it had stained on it I immediately removed it . I started to feel confusion as I felt the room spinning . My bed was put on number 3 space the patient next to me husband was also upset on how they was treated even other nurses when ask for help by patients they will scream at there patients IM NOT YOUR NURSE at the patient who has a fever . I was told I was going to get meds for my dizziness and other nurse came to me and ask did u get it ? I said no and she told me the male nurse said he gave it to me . I told her he never did .. and this was told to me 3 times after those 3 hours . This my 1st time in this hospital and I already call this the death hospital . I SUGGEST EVERYONE WHO HAD BAD EXPERIENCE ALERT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT MAKE COMPLAINTS AND HAVE PROOF . DO NOT REFER ANYONE TO THIS HOSPITAL !!!

Today I visited Wyckoffs ER.. This was best ER experience ever. It was a very personal experience not having to share my after triage time with other patients in a hallway on stretchers. The social Distancing was just that!! I would revisit and recommend...

The worst place to come to with a baby for an emergency . 1st off they take 3-4 hrs to see the baby and the nurse or Fellows "Dr.s" at night sifted are horrible no bedside manors at all I don't recommend this hospital to anyone

This place needs a spy so they can record these nurse and doctor and fire all these ppl in the emergency room no one working just sitting down chatting like they in a picnic while ppl are in pain screaming for help and no one is moving tgey sitting chatting smh. I never do a review but this time I had too . One of the worst hospitals ever . The nurses in the ER don t care at all . I believe most of them don t even have a degree . I took my two year old daughter here due to a 104 fever . She has history of febrile seizures . They discharged me even with her having a high fever . They told me she had an ear infection . Came back home the antibiotic and the Motrin wasn t working . Took her back and seems that the nurse that did her test on the nose did it wrong and she had the flu .it was a Indian nurse with glasses and oh she even took my daughters temperature wrong as well . They didn t care or Apologized . This is very unprofessional . They seriously need new nurses in the kids area that actually know what they are doing . We are talking about young kids here . Never coming back again !

Worst hospital in NYC. Went with friend who had a liver failure, the ER didn't draw blood, no CT or sonogram,they sent him home with hernia diagnosis. Had to take him to another hospital in Manhattan where he had been take care of. Wyckoff Hospital should be investigated and closed down.

The worst hospital in the face of the Earth, you go to the ER and they take urine but no blood. I had gallstones but they told me I had gastritis. No blood test not even a sonogram. I went to another hospital for surgery.

Very nice place outside and,renovated just about everything,,new doctors,nurses.. workers the same some are very helpful on yours needs as always,then some with attitude like we need that on our emergencies..hospital is clean and in order bathrooms are dirty like they only clean them once a day,it is smelly... yeah I come back again if the need is need it...

This hospital is a Porqueria, when we went with my emergency sister despite the fact that there was a Spanish woman who spoke Spanish when I asked for someone who spoke Spanish, she said NO, then came and spoke in Spanish when I was already angry because they had her there my sister doing nothing. Both some nurses and some doctors are inept. They only work there for money but not for the patient's health. And my other complaint is my mom has her arm broken on Monday she left with the referral from the primary doctor and they made her appointment for Friday and the fools ask her for the referral again when they didn't say anything on Monday. As I said this hospital does not work if some have worked well but in our case nothing to do for that I give 0 d SCORE

I come in for smashed fingers in emergency. I think I might lost my fingers and they made me wait for 2 hours. I don't want my fingers to be cut off because of late treatement.I wish they don't have the emergency room here, so I can be treated on time in an real emergency room. And I am still waiting because 3 more patients who are not emergency. Why they have this emergency room. This is a clinic but a hospital to save people's live. This hospital need more doctors.

I had a decent experience at Wyckoff H. M. C. They told me fast my diagnosis.

Friendly staff. Excellent Service. People always come back to Wyckoff because the employees are "people" who are really down to earth. I'm talking about the high ranking doctors all the way down to receptionists and janitors. You can't miss a smile the second you enter the facility. 5 stars and well deserved!

You will wait for ever. The hospital is not clean at all and the staff is not helpful.

I had to fast for a day for some procedures. After procedures i ve been said i can eat and im not on NPO anymore. Ive been asking for food and been ignored. Doctor Moe saw me only once saying ILL BE BACK SOON which she never showed up. Its been 3 days starving and even asking nurses to get something to eat they ignored me. I ve been told ill be discharge next day however i wasnt. Spent few more days without any further procedures. Its disgusting.

It seems only the delivery and maternity ward are the best parts of this hospital because every review on here is bad. I had my baby girl at this hospital 3.5 months ago and the experience was great. I had a no nonsense OB (Dr. Weber I believe), help my midwife in those final moments to get my girl here and had a healthy flow of doctors checking in on myself and baby when we had to stay extra days because my baby had jaundice. The only criticism I have is that there was major miscommunication about how long we would stay. Nurses told us hours and it kept changing until i had to speak with the doctor on duty that night to which they said it would be days. As a new mom who wanted to take her baby home, it was upsetting but we got to go after 3 days and my baby is healthy and beautiful!

My experience at the hospital was not the best since I am scheduled for one day to do my cesarean preparation and that day I arrive early (6:00 am) in the morning for my twin cesarean when I am all very well they tell me that the doctor does not I had arrived but that word was coming soon was so long since he never arrived my cesarean was post put for the next day I spent all that day in the hospital listening that the doctor came until already at five in the afternoon that a nurse tells me tell her that the doctor is not coming, stop telling her that she is coming because we all know that not when my husband found out he was furious because as it is possible for a doctor to set a date for a cessation and that day does not appear That is incredible but true my cessation was changed for the next day because there was no one who did it to me since the doctors who were on duty could not have the day full of deliveries and I understand why neither of the two doctors who are aba that day was my doctor and I had not made an appointment I understood that part by the doctors but there is a wing in the responsibility of the Doctor it was very frustrating for me and my husband finally when they make me stop the next day my babies are born we are in the room and we told the nurse that the room was very cold for the babies and for me she replied that no it was ok, it was less than 60 degrees my companion that night had to put on the cout and sleep with him and the babies cover them with blankets since in the end another nurse comes or asks us why the room was so cold I told her that we told the other nurse and she said it was fine thanks to her she helped us with the heating that was broken.
With this review I do not want to harm anyone but if they say something if they can go far from the Wyckoff do it because that hospital is horrible.

As a pastor, I visited this hospital as I have visited many others to be an encouragement to someone that I know. I found Wyckoff to be a clean hospital with a calm environment and friendly medical staff. The neonatal unit in particular provided courteous care. I have given a 4-star rating rather than 5 only because I found it a little confusing to get around inside the hospital and because the itself could use some basic remodeling to update it from an "older feel."

Not the best hospital for me but not the worst either. Can use some improvement but even with time, that hasn't even worked for them as well. Only time will prove what is to come with improvements. I came here with my son who cut his hand at work with a razor blade and that was a very deep wound. We went from the ER to the second fl where we waited about 40 minutes in total to get in and out. The main reason why service was quicker then normal for us was because my wife used to work here. You all know, it's who you know, it's unfortunate but reality.

Here the thing about most hospitals ER's, if it's not a major incident, you're not going to get the services you feel you should get. Kids and elderly get a different service and treatment because of their ages. If it's something that can be taken care of by your regular MD, then I believe you should call and set up an emergency appointment with them. Leave hospital ER's for major medical issues.

This hospital is Garbage! the sole issue best they knowledge to try and do is charge your insurance! Wait time is FOREVER and their system handling patients suck. lots of Doctor and nurse area unit zombie and appearance like they solely need to report and get back. they do not take care of your well-being in the slightest degree however solely their paychecks. Monday june 5 2017 - 3pm, my wife had a seizure at work, ambulance took her unfortunately to this hospital and we spent around 8 hours to run some test, they completely forgot her and when you ask for information they give attitude . Worst hospital ever, run away from here, they don't care about you.
