Good resturant but eclipsed by others across Sandy Bay & Hobart. Relative to consuming cocktails both The Onyx and The Birdcage Bar are by far the best in Tasmania.

Popped into the Riverview for a.quick sandwich and drink

I think one of the senior waitstaff needs training in customer service
She was quite aggressive in her manner, not a good look for a tourist destination

Rooms were clean but old decor. Windows are bolted shut which minimises the opportunity to enjoy the view. It is a 30 minute walk to town from the hotel.

Coffee from room service is overpriced, $7.50. hotel is very nice and old original. Great location. Friendly staff.

Its a casino. Plenty of bars And places to eat. Tons of pokies and never ending competitions.

The main casino in Hobart, Tasmania. There are so many pokie machines but only few tables for play.
3 regular & 1 buffet restaurants are in there.

This place was nice and friendly staff and the meals were very good, plus for the money was good value.

The wrong keys were given while check-in. After that, we have been forced to change the room again near mid-night. The staff argued with us that it was our fault and talked in a very rude manner. In the second day, we had been noticed that there is no room for us to stay due to being sold by your hotel (we booked two night stays). There is none of phone call from hotel to verify whether we would like to check out or not.
The room of water edge is quite old and shabby. The towel looks like old and had not been cleaned.

You can have fun with out drinking but it is still an option great new rooms friendly staff some great shows and a great place to bet and relax

Went to ministry of sound on the lawn at wrest point amazing well worth it the next one will be fatboy slim it will be another night to rember :) keep up the good work wrest point :)

Helpful, friendly staff, generous and tasty buffet and a wonderful gym that is a perfect substitute for a full gym. A home away from home in Hobart.

Huge hotel beautiful views and very modern rooms with cool features. Has all you can ask for in a hotel car rentals, beauty parlour, gym, pool. A few different restaurants heaps of gaming cheap rooms but you pay with the expensive ( but amazing) food the Asain restaurant is highly recommended if you have money to spend that is

Absolutely pathetic would not reccomend I would rather stay in the sewers would of been treated better!

Stayed with my mother but was a fiasco with room but we were going to be upgraded, unfortunately I am a little oldto be sharing a bed with my dear old mum. But even with the mix up the staff were great and along with us had a great sense of humour.

Conference food needs a revamp. Lovely room, used Derwent. Dietaries could also use some thought and innovation

Room was immaculate superb fantastic views of the Derwent River the meal on the board walk was fantastic the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only stayed one night but we will be going back.Check in was very friendly and welcoming in no time we had our key And up to our room. We stayed in a king room harbour view for $240 Aud. The room itself was dated but extremity comfy and clean. The room 1106 was in the tower 11 th floor the view was Wonderful over the calm waters and leisure craft that use the bay.
the room was spacious, the king bed was very comfortable with luxurious linens Which made for a great nights sleep.
The toiletries were also quality and the soap divine. Buffet breakfast was included in the price and they gave us the best one yet. The choices were incredible they thought of everything all fresh and cooked to perfection. Check out was fast and pleasant the staff were very helpful and professional. It was value for money and I was extremely happy with the whole experience.

I went there to participate in the point to pinnacle. The event was well organised and the facilities were clean.

Rooms are clean but quite dated. If nothing changes soon, they could be advertised as 'retro'. Facilities and venues are much the same. It can be a bit of a rabbit warren to find your way around but there is a fair range of bars and eateries. Staff can be hit and miss which I guess is to be expected with such a large workforce. Overall it is fine but nothing outstanding.

Every Tuesday @ 2pm the casino offers up free entertainment with a movie. Good variety, good viewing & a popular regular outing for many. I love going along. Plus, the meals are excellent value & the service is always polite & friendly. The casino is surrounded with breathtaking scenery.

Very tasty food in the buffet and outside of it, selection of anything I could have wanted all around, with surprisingly good desserts as the buffets considered!

Lots of things to do in the tower, the restaurant cooks best real chinese tasty food in Hobart hiding in casino, Kwan Ho, they supply the after ten in the night. Real Chinese food.

I would not tell people to go down there it needs to change a lot

It needs an update the rooms are all stuck in the 70's. All the food is way over priced, service is average.

Still the beds are comfortable the staff are mostly nice and there is parking.

Is ok, about 100 pokies, 4 tables, don't open till 2 and close at 2am, staff are nice, bistro Abit poor, very small for a casino

Nice since the downstairs renovations, but still overpriced and a lack of activities aside from gambling. Crown casino in Melbourne has recently added escape rooms, karaoke rooms and an arcade.

It's not the most happening place in town. It's OK for gambling and food.

Buffet lunch terrible. Hot dishes were cold . Steamed veges were luke warm an raw . Tried to complain but they said i must of taken too long to get my food but last thing i got was gravy and that was cold too . Notice every comment is saying the same thing so they probably wont change .

I staued there for 5 nights. The room is clean and well mentained, as well as other facilities in the hotel. I stayed at the water edge. I didn't use any of the facilities as I was out most of the time.
2 things I didn't like in this hotel.
I tried food only once as Room dinning in , I ordered lamb korma and it wasn't a dish that I enjoyed, doesn't taste fresh at all but more of frozen food, the rice wasn't even cooked enough!! The other thing is that there is no power point beside the bed!!! So being out all day long I needed to charge my mobile while I'm in bed but couldn't do that and had to get out of bed every 30 minutes to check if it's fully charged before setting the alarm and put the phone near me to dismiss the alarm next morning .

Wonderful meal and fantastic concert on the lawns with an amazing view.

Customer service was non-intrusive and friendly. Rooms and restaurants have Hobart city and Derwent river views that are increasingly more spectacular the higher you go. Rooms are small modern and clean. The only negative would be that most of the gambling staff are dowdy and dull
