World Wide river expeditions is a fantastically ran company with an incredible team of Guides! We took a group of young men on the three day rafting trip to Fisher Towers and had a great time. The food was WAY BEYOND expectations, really it was simple stuff done so good it could easily have been served in a great restaurant in town!! The young group of Guides were such hard workers, fun and extremely polite and consistently caring for everyone. It is obvious that they have been well taught and love what they do. They work extremely hard and put in long days, 6 days a week. They are up at 6:30am and finally to bed around 10pm cleaning, cooking, caring, and guiding all day in the hot sun. They always were smiling, singing or laughing together. I made a point to tell my son to watch them and their work ethic as it is most impressive to witness in the age we are living in where most people don't know how to treat others much less a paying customer. These guys/gals and this company get it and should be commended for it! We found out that we are on the tail end of this season and many of the Guides have already put in nearly 4 months of this type of work and yet they are still as happy as you would think they would be day one. I have to give a special shout out to our Guide, Josie. She was AWESOME! She did fantastic at remembering our names, she was constantly checking on us even at camp and she was a blast to have in our boat. We loved to joke with her and she took it in stride and dished it out with class and style. Although we aren't sure if her name is really Josie (she does struggle with telling the truth, lol). She was great and her sister, Alex is also a great guide, leader and I'm sure mentor to the rest of the Guides! I thanked them repeatedly but I hope they really knew we appreciated everything they did for us!! WWRE, Whatever you are doing to get, train and maintain this staff, keep it up its a recipe for success and greatness for sure!! Sincerely, Thank you for the fantastic experience, memories and laughs!! Chris C
I have been with them several times (total 6 days) and I absolutely love them! I have seen other companies on the river and I prefer WWE. It is a family run company and their values show in their business. Their guides are great, funny, and professional. I can't understand how they keep their prices so low. It is definitely the cheapest, but the best, river rafting company in Moab.
One of the best and most personable river rafting companies out there
Best company for big groups or any group! We have done small family trips and large youth trips and both were spectacular. Very well organized with excellent guides who not only know the river but also know how to make it fun and easy. I don't think I would ever want to use any other company. In fact, I did a three day youth trip and will turn around in two days and do a two day trip with family. I couldn't be more excited. Easy to give World Wide 5 stars!
My family and I had a great time!! Well planned and fun good people!! Food is also really good!!
My boys and I just returned from World Wide River Expeditions's 4 day Cataract Canyon trip. We were not even through the first day before my youngest son (15 years old) was saying that we need to return regularly, He was having a blast. The 17.9 year old was having a great time too. Our guides Zac, Mitchell, Wyatt and Eli went over the top in making sure that we were having a great time and that we were being taken care of. This is a family run business that has been going for decades. They care for the river, the canyon and the people on the trip. They all had a real passion for what they do. I would give a higher rating than 5 star if I could. Ages ranged from 15 to 65 on the trip and all had a great time. It would be hard to get a negative response from any of the 22 people on this trip. The food was excellent too! Zac had to repeatedly divulge the secrets from his recipes. Sorry that I do not have any pictures from the actual rapids. We will be back and we will be calling World Wide River Expeditions when we do.
Super fun. Totally worth it.the canyon is beautiful
Female staff not very nice. Made us feel like we were in a hurry and really bossy during lunchtime! Men were great, fun to be around and considerate, especially Drake. One of the women made us carry the rafts to the bus (including my 75 yr old Dad!) up a hill and it was really heavy. Didn t quite seem like our Job after paying a whole lot for the river trip. Scenery was gorgeous but we would choose another company if we ever do it again.
Fantastic experience for our 10-person youth group. The staff was friendly, hard-working, attentive and engaging. They worked sun-up to lights-out with amazing effort and punctilio. The food was great, plentiful and delicious. Safety was a top priority and the equipment was in top-notch condition. Would highly recommend World Wide river for your next trip, whether your group is large or small. First class experience.
My experience with World Wide has always been fantastic. Such a warm and welcoming environment, perfect for all families.
I've been on several river trips with World Wide River Expeditions, and it's always the highlight of my summer! I've done a few one-day trips with my family and friends, and have done the 3, 4, and 5-day Cataract Canyon trips. The river guides are super knowledgeable, fun, and completely trustworthy. The food on river trips is better than anything I ever eat at home, and there is never a dull moment. We always have plenty of time to swim, hike to petroglyphs and ancient granaries, and read books or chill on the rafts. Rapids are huge and always fun, no matter what the water level is like. Sleeping under the stars might be my favorite part of these trips. It's an incredible experience to explore these canyons that I'd normally never get to see. 100% recommend to anyone on the fence about booking! It's totally worth the $$!
The guides and the personnel experience was great. My reason for putting an okay was that this was more of a float than white water rafting. There were a few Rapids but mostly fairly calm water period would be a good introduction to water rafting for someone. For lunch they serve sandwiches which is typical but I would recommend using wraps instead of bread as it was very difficult to hold the bread with no plates. I did enjoy the beach games we played that was a new experience. After lunch we were looking forward to more paddling but literally just went about 15 minutes down the river and got out for the end of the day.
River rafting was a lot harder than I anticipated it was a lot of fun. We had a huge group with us so we got to experience different gates. The overall experience was great we went for one day. I was shocked at how much work it was to float down the river we were paddling the entire time I don t think I could ve lasted another day. Lunch was great in the river was a lot of fun the float down
Best outfitter in Moab. These are the guys to go with.
ABLOSOLUTE best way to raft the Colorado! Best company, good food, friendly guides, good times. This is the way to go.
Great experience with the company, guide, and the half day rafting trip. We'll be back next year for a more adventurous section of the river!
Great guides and very organized. Our Youth Group had a great trip
My family had a great time five stars for sure the staff and guides were exceptional couldn't be happier.
My dad was visiting Utah for the first time and the one thing he said he wanted to do was go white water rafting. After looking at all the different tour outfits in Moab, I decided to reserve with World Wide River Expeditions. I have to say, it was one of the best times I've ever had. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcomed. Our raft guide, Jayce, was especially awesome! Not only was he a great raft guide, he was also entertaining, funny, and had great stories about the river and Moab. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a great whitewater rafting experience in Moab!
My son and I went on a 4-day family rafting trip with his school a few days ago to and through Cataract Canyon. There were about 60 of us and they divided us into two groups, each with our own boats and guides. They provided each of us with a large dry bag that held a sleeping bag and tarp (which they also provided) as well as our own duffel bag of clothing etc. Those were tied onto the boats during the day, and for things we needed to access we had small dry bags to keep with us. They really were completely waterproof. Because the water was so low, we spent most of the first few days motoring through calm waters, with the boats tied together into flotillas. The guides provided awnings and umbrellas to shade us as much as possible, and there was plenty of lemonade and water on board plus water bottles for those who needed one or a second. We camped on beaches, ate delicious meals prepared by the guides, and jumped into the water a couple times to float with the current for a while in our life jackets and get picked up by the boats downstream. Cots were provided to keep us up off the sand while we slept, and tents were available but hardly anyone used them as there were very few bugs to speak of. Changing clothes meant going behind a bush or using the cabana tent if it was set up. Bathing meant using biodegradable soap in the river. "Taking care of business" had its own setup, as comfortable and private as possible. We stopped twice to hike, once for just a short way to some ancient granaries built into the cliffs, where the guides explained who built them and how they used them. The second hike was harder, 3/4 mile straight up, across a gap, and 3/4 mile straight down, while the boats went around and met us on the other side. I am fat and out of shape, and the guide bringing up the rear, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten, was very kind and encouraging to me when I fell behind and had a hard time continuing, both up and down. I made it thanks to his help. At the end of the second day we got to go down a rapid before hitting the beach where we camped that night. Then on day 3 we went down 30+ rapids, the lucky/willing ones paddling red rafts with a guide steering and instructing, and the others just enjoying the ride on yellow rafts with a guide rowing us through. I felt completely safe with our guides and had a great time getting soaked. All along the way, the guides pointed out interesting things to see and shared history and personal stories with us. They made sure we were all safe, especially the kids, requiring life jackets whenever we were more than waist deep. They also set good examples for our kids. Thanks for all of your hard work, the great food, the support and guidance, and the fun! Anastasia (Tasia) Markoff
Great outfit. Guides are super friendly. Everyone had a great time.
We returned from a three day trip this afternoon. We had a group of 11 young men and leaders. We had another group with us in the river as well, for a total of about 25 people. Paige and Carmen were our guides. These two young ladies were fantastic. They guided us expertly down the river, fixed our meals, and generally worked their tails off to give us a great experience. We even had a water rescue in some rapids. Carmen and Paige brought two struggling swimmers out of harms way and back to the group with no problems. Both jumped right back in and finished the trip. I can t say enough good about this experience. From the drivers to the warehouse staff it was a great experience. Thank you for a great trip. I would not hesitate to bring my family back... as long as Paige and Carmen are our guides.
Friendly and engaging staff. Very group and family-oriented. Many trip options. Fun!
We went on a three day river trip with about 70 girls and leaders. This was a phenomenal experience! I was so impressed with how hard the river guides worked. They worked from morning until night and were happy, energetic, kind, encouraging, and fun. I was on the boat with Mitch and he taught us about the area, safety, and lots of ways to have a great time on the river. I don't recall all the names of the staff, but Mitch, Parker, Chandler, Hailey and the others were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and fun. The guides were great with our girls and very protective of their safety, on and off the river. All the guides, male and female, were very appropriate with our girls. Everything about this trip was exceptionally good and I would recommend them to anyone.
We had the best experience with World Wide River Expeditions with our youth conference this week. If you get the chance to go, take it. We loved every minute on the river and off. Our guides - Alex, Reagan, and Mack were amazing. I would go again just to get to hang out with them! The river can teach so many life lessons and it's a blast just to float. Oh, and not to be left out is how well we ate. Who knew that amazing river guides could also cook and feed us so well. I wish there were a rating higher than 5-stars. This trip and our guides earned it.
Great trip! Loved the guides, and have nevery had such a good sandwich. Will go again!
Take our scouts every other year. Always a great experience.
This was hands down the best white water trip I've ever gone on. The staff was so helpful with planning, and the goddess on the water were very knowledgeable and helpful. They provided surprisingly good food for being out in the middle of the wilderness, and over all, it was a great experience and I'd love to go again.
Fantastic guides help make this an amazing adventure!
The guides were amazing best river rafting trip ever !
Great river tour company! Good people providing a fun, clean experience.
We took a youth group down the river with this company and I can't say enough good things about our experience!! It truly is family owned and operated! The guides were incredible! They were extremely professional, made it fun for the youth, and were knowledgable about the river and the surroundings. The food was great and nobody went to bed hungry! If you are looking for an all-around amazing experience on a river rafting trip I recommend this company whole heartedly!!
The guides were well informed, knew the activities well. A very good experience.
This was a great company the guides were great but the river they take you in is slightly boring.
My wife and I took a day trip with them for our 20th anniversary trip to Moab and it was great! First time for us to go white water rafting and we had a great time. The guides were great and made us feel real comfortable. You can't go wrong with this company.
It was amazing, I honestly couldn't have asked for better. My river guide on our raft names Kayla, she was great. She helped to teach us good techniques about white water rafting and kayaking. She was very friendly to our whole group. The meals that they provided were very good and they were always good about having plenty of it too. I am plant based and they gave me a schedule of the meals so I knew the few things that I needed to substitute for, but they had a lot of good meals that were very tasty. The river was beautiful and surrounded by breathtaking views of the rich red cliffs of the close by towering mountains. They even went out of there way to gather all of us to the side of the river one day to show us a mine a short stroll from the river bank, they told us the history of the area and answerd any questions that we had for them. I would love to return in the future and do the trip again. If anyone is thinking of visiting the moab area you would be missing out if you skipped this trip. Between the starry night's, scenery of the towering red cliffs and the amazing river guides I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND going to anyone considering it.
Amazing trip! Carmen, Dana, Derek, Tommy and Zak were awesome guides on a 4-day trip down Cataract Canyon. Food was amazing! Hikes were magical! Thanks!
Amazing, we went on this awesome rapid river and we were able to ride in a kayak and go under the rapids, it was really hard not to fall off, then we stopped for lunch which was provided and just had such an amazing time on the river that day. Really cool!
The river was crazy high and lots of fun but the outfit was awesome. The group is very nice and concerned about your safety and know what they are doing. This does not stop them of Maki g sure you get wet and have fun.
The best river guide service in Moab! Wouldn't use any other company!
Went down Cateract Canyon for High Adventure. It was an awesome experience, awesome guides, very friendly, great food etc. I would highly recommend these guys for your next whitewater rafting trip!!
Lots and lots of fun! They have full on rafts and kayaks that you can rent. They give you a guide who helps keep your group together and makes sure you're all safe. If you're lucky, you get a really good guide who tells you the history of the area, cool facts, and visits with you! Be sure to ask for Tommy! He was the best!
This was such an awesome experience. The river guides are great. They do so much it far outweighs the cost. No complaints everything was great.
First time rafting, and it was an amazing experience. Professional and very friendly. Loved the workers, and their hard work. Definitely would come back again!
Great adventure!! We loved it! We had a group of 30, including leaders and young women. It was so fun!! We did the 3 day trip. The company provided plenty of food and entertainment. They are well organized and take good care of you. One thing that impressed us is the guides who are about 18 to 22 years old, are so good! They are experienced on the river to let you know when it is safe to float down the river or do a flip off the boat or when you need to just paddle. Then they prepare your meals and serve you at the camp grounds. Us, forty something year old leaders were so impressed with their organization and service at camp. They know what they are doing and it's a system that is well structured with no stress for us leaders. I would highly recommend this for families or youth groups. You must understand this has small rapids but the trip is fun. If you are looking for serious white water rapids this is not it. If you are looking for fun, great scenery, and entertaining guides this is it! We loved our guides - Hannah, Harper, Sarah, Landon, Parker, Shipley and Zach. They made the trip fun, memorable and were fun to work with! Great job team!
Top notch guides with a true knowledge of and love for the river. Be prepared to leave a gratuity for the guide. They earn it every time!
This is by far the best experience I have ever had white water rafting (also happens to be the only one ha ha)! I want to thank all the guides that really made the experience, y all are awesome! Mitch, thanks for putting up with us lol. I highly recommend this company, they are professional and have some incredible customer service. WORLD WIDE!!!!
We love the service of the river guides! So friendly and helpful to everyone!
Fantastic river tour company. We took our young men's group and had a great time. The caliber of river guides are top notch and make the trip most enjoyable. If you have a youth group, this is the company you need to book!
We had a fantastic trip with World Wide River Expeditions! Zak, Dana, Derek, Tommy, Carmen, and Sam took great care of our group of 40! From sun up to sundown they worked their tails off to give us a great run down Cataract Canyon. The ride at 60,000 CFS was safe and comfortable. In addition, the food was fantastic! World Wide is a family run company and we all ended the trip feeling like we were part of the family. WWRE is a class act; everything was very organized, thought out, and well run. We will definitely join them again.
I am extremely happy with this company and will not stray. They have been very pleasant to work with each year. We tend to add to our group and everyone is highly impressed. We also love our bus driver Debbie. She is very wise to the area and points us in the direction we need to go for dining, other adventures, etc. The guides are also very impressive, especially how they deal with each individuals needs and stay so positive. And thank you Nicki for always working with us and providing us with exceptional service!! We love World Wide!!! Next year we will have to try West Water!! And if you find a camera floating or beached somewhere along the banks...I hope there is some good footage. Lol
Amazing!!!! So much fun and James was an amazing guide, met new friends, son loved the experience and I cannot recommend more!!!
We have done the river many times with other guides out of Moab, but this was by all means the best time we've ever had. The guides are great and made sure everyone had a fun time and cared for everyone's safety. We will definitely be using WWRE from here on out.
The group was a bit large (~80 people) but I still had a lot of fun.
The staff is great the food was good and our scouts had a great time on the river. We will be returning.
From the start Nicki was great and accommodating. She even gave us a military discount even though that is not typical. When a issues with our trip (under booked and canceled at last minute) Nicki went out of her way to find us a company that had a raft going on our booked day. Top notch customer service with someone cares is hard to come by. So yes I absolutely recommend this company.
Great experience. Crazy good employees. Fun to raft but not at all difficult.
On July 6, 2016 a group of us came up from Glendale to experience the wonderful energy of Moab, Utah. Included on our list was to fulfill a lifetime dream of river rafting down the Colorado River. We were greeted by Jace, Dana and Derek who helped us load our gear onto the bus with eager anticipation. The trio could not have been more hospitable and made it a point to get to know each person individually when time permitted. They were diligent and professional dealing with the needs of multiple personalities that ventured up from the big city to experience this small town wonder. We took a three day trip down Cataract Canyon and we were told not to bring any food. I was worried initially but I could not have been more impressed with their menu options including a hearty surf and turf on the final night. We had a variety of dietary needs and they catered to them brilliantly. The side hikes throughout our journey were remarkable as we discovered ancient canneries at every turn. It's a lot of work to haul around a bunch of city folk but they did it with style. I speak for the entire Glendale Community Group when I say that we shall return next summer.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Guides are kind knowledgeable, and fun. Guides organized games and lunch, and the boy Scouts loved it. BSA approved
By far the best river rafting experience you could ever have. It is a family owned business and the customer service is unbelievable. I have never met nicer people in my entire life. The scenery is breath taking and the rapids were a blast. I could not recommend this business enough.... Best experience of my life.
This is a first-rate rafting experience. Isaac, our guide, was wonderful: encouraged team building, shared interesting information about the river, rapids, rock formations, resorts passed and movies filmed in the area. He really made the journey fun! The trip was well organized and professional. I appreciated having a private changing room available after we returned. We did the full day tour and liked the lunch provided. Thanks Isaac and WWRE!
Super friendly and knowledgeable guides. Lily and Josh are too much fun! I would absolutely go again!!
WWRE was awesome to work with. We had a large youth group of 60 people and they made it look easy. Thank you very much for helping us create such a fun memory! Paul K.
We just did the 3 day/2 night trip down Cataract Canyon with Dana, Tommy, and Kevin. It was an amazing experience ! They were awesome guides and cooks. We couldn't ask for better guides. We were a group of 21and they keep us well feed and great meals. Totally worth the money. Thanks World Wide!
I worked here for two years and absolutely loved it. I hope the customers did too!
The onion campground is extremely dry and unwelcoming. All the trees are dead. I would not suggest this as a camping site for anyone.
Lexi was the BEST guide ever!! All of the guides were so nice and it was so much fun!
Great guides with friendly helpful service. They ways helped and showed us a great time. Lots of fun. Totally worth it!!
Really great and friendly staff. Had Lexi as our guide on the river and she did a great job. We hit the rapids perfectly and had great conversations. The lunch was very good that they provided as well. An all around great experience!
We took our Scout Troop on a day rafting trip down the Colorado River. And these guys are awesome!! Our guide for one of the boats we were on was Morgan and she was fantastic. The lunch that was provided on the rafting trip was really good!! And they brought a LOT of food for everyone they took out that morning. Definitely a whole lot of fun and memories we all will remember for a life time. I highly recommend going with this company.
Scheduled a trip for 6, we were doing a girls trip and we're super excited to raft. When we got to the first site(where you board the buses to take you to the river) we were exactly ten minutes early. They ran up to our cars to tell us they were ready and we needed to get on the buses now. When one of my girlfriends asked if she could use the restroom really quick they told her they didn't have time? We were early(not to mention we paid a decent amount of money, you can wait a second)? We get on the buses to take us to the rafts. When we get there, they are equally as rushed. Like practically yelling at us to get to the rafts. Then they inform us that our specific group will be split up. Now, I don t fully understand the rational here. But if someone signs up SIX people in their group you would think they would want to keep all six together on one raft, right? Well, two we re in one raft, another two in a different raft and then another two in a DIFFERENT RAFT. They could of emailed us before hand letting us know this was going to happen or SOMETHING. But nope, we learned we d all be split up, right on the banks of the Colorado River. Nothing we could do. Would I recommend rafting the river? Yes! Totally. It was so fun to float down and swim in! Would I recommend doing so with this company? No.
The guides were great! The equipment was well maintained. The meals were also good. Great experience with this outfitter!
Looking for adventure that doesn't cost an arm and a leg AND is meant for the whole family? Schedule a summer time trek to Moab UT and run the river. It will be like no other family vacation you've ever had. This all-inclusive adventure puts you next to and on the mighty Colorado River for your entire stay. Meals are included as well as all the gear you will need for rafting. Bring your tents, cots, hammocks, sunscreen and insect repellent and maybe a change of clothes. No one went hungry and we came back with the same number of people as we arrived with:). Competent (and entertaining) guides, modern safety equipment and impeccable coordination makes for an enjoyable experience. Plan ahead if you want to mark off river rafting from your bucket list as the calendar fills up quickly even before the season starts. Lastly, don't be surprised if you get the itch to bring back more and more people to experience the wonders of God's creation tucked neatly in the back pocket of Eastern Utah!!!
We were return customers and the Service, scenery, and meals, were great! Thanks Steve, Family, and Co!!
Just came back from spending 3 days on the river with 35 young women and 10 adult leaders. It was a fun and fantastic experience! I can't say enough about how fun, friendly, knowledgeable and good our guides were. Our girls had a fantastic time and for those who had never done anything like it before couldn't have had a better experience and I'm certain will be hard to beat. WWRE does a spot on job catering to young women and scout groups and hands down has everyone else beat. I would recommend taking your own youth groups, family & friends. You won't be disappointed!
These guys are awesome! Look forward to a great trip with World Wide!
