Always visit this place I was part of the wall crews and I love it
The rides were ok and haunted houses but the fact that in 6 hours we were only allowed to get one 1 ride and in 1 haunted house because it's so packed! We had to wait an hour just to get through a line for food even to go to the bathroom could take a 30 min wait.. It's just unreal its a true waste of time and money. Also the workers are very rude you can't ever have a descent conversation with them. The food quality is poor and shouldn't cos as much as a high quality restaurant. To be honest I don't want to come back. Just wasted 6 hours of my life! The rides always break down expect to get stuck on a ride at some point even if it is new. One ride got stuck 2 times and they still wanted to run it! Don't bother messing with this BS
Still a family favorite! Always changes for the season.
Wof is cool but they should get more rides but it s still fun
Fun park. A great place to bring your kids or family. Great lineup of coasters and flat rides. Would reccomend.
Although we had a wonderful time this past weekend, I was dissapointed in the fact that if you left the park and did not re-enter by 8pm then they would not let you back in. This is especially upsetting considering we have 4 season passes and have renewed them for next season.
The last time that we went was great, but this time wasn't as great because they had too many Rides that were down and not working.
Winterfest needs some work. Between not opening until 4/5pm and big rides being closed, the wait times get out of hand quickly. Glad we got the 1/2 price tickets, otherwise wouldn't have been worth it. $19 for parking is also outrageous.
The park came under VERY windy conditions when I was there. The management shut down some of the altudinous rides as a safety is a major factor. I'll be back!
We had a great time. Crowd control could be better as well ways to arrive and enter the park. It's very over priced as far as food and drinks go. It was hard to do any slides or things like that due to how long the lines were. We got food from the shack it was AMAZING and a good portion size. We had fun taking pictures in the big chair. There could be more interactions that children can do with parents! I would have given 4 stars if it weren't for the price of parking!
Unless you get motion sick or have a fear of heights, this is always a fun time. Though some of the classic attractions from my youth are gone (the Orient Express, The Zambezi Zinger, Cyclone Saddies, and the Screamroller/EXT) there is now a classic store in the park that sell memorabilia from then.
Great time. Wish they re website was an a little more explanatory about fast passes and wish you could review their photos at home instead of only that day in the park. We had a fun day trip celebrating a friend s daughter s birthday!
It was amazing, and the rides were awesome. One thing I really didn't like about it is the prices.
Really good place to spend the day, but employees here suck, i saw one of them "cleaning" a table outside panda express with a broom
A great place to bring my Son & his best friends for his birthday- they all had a great time - me included.
We had a wonderful hot day, 96 degrees. The grands rode 7.5 hrs and enjoyed every minute. Very clean, staff efficient, helpful, polite. Today was last full day of the season. Open on wknds ti I am not sure..Google to see. Enjoy..
First time coming back to worlds of fun was a good exercise in good experience new things to come to whiched i love.
The electricity was out and they continued to charge admission and let people in the park. It was a hassle to get refunded. It seemed like a great place but this ruined the whole experience.
I have been going here for years with my wife and kids. They have grown up with snoopy and the gang. Plenty of seating around, good shops, good live shows. Food isn't cheap but what amusement park is today? Winterfest and the Haunt are great seasonal events everybody loves to attend. Been a few years without a new coaster, but someday soon...
I don't think I've ever had a bad day at Worlds of Fun. Great rides good food and friendly employees.
Ugh it should not take ten min to run two cars on costers .. the wait period are ridiculous because employees are to busy talking to one another or trying to figure out what was going on.
So this Halloween haunt is a joke. The best part is the actors that walk around. Attractions don't open up till 8pm, which is all good because you want it to be dark, but the lines are way to long even with the fast pass. If you want to go you'll only be able to get to 3 maybe 4 attractions. On top of that, once the attractions open up it becomes EXTREME chaos. Kids running around with no adult supervision and not enough staff to keep them under control. They push their way through, running people over. Definitely not worth it in my opinion
A great place to enjoy with family and friends lots of things to do plenty of rides be prepared to walk a bit
Had a good time at the park
They don't seem to have that many rides as other amusement parks that size. Lots of money taking games. Or win cheesy prizes.
I did not appreciate buying their re-fill jog for $13.99 and everywhere we stopped to refill didn't have ice or the soda had run out.
We asked the guy behind the counter about ice and soda and he informed us that that was not his job.
Some training may be needed for staff on handling situations for failure to meet guest needs and for vending outpost management on keeping supplies stocked throughout the evening.
I would recommend but warning in the evening the service is not the same as during the day. Lots you younger individuals in the evening. That's there to do little as possible.
Came here on 6/26/18 with the family. A thunderstorm came in around noon and basically all of the rides shut down understandably for safety concerns. After a couple hours of us sitting and eating, (along with just about every body else in the park) rides started to open back up. It ended up being hot and sunny the rest of the day so we enjoyed the water park along with doing all of the big rides we didn t hit up earlier. There is not much I can critique about this park as employees were nice, park was beautifully landscaped and maintained (as any CedarFair park is) and we had an awesome day. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking to have an incredible time.
Winterfest was great. The lights are beautiful and the atmosphere was very festive. I took my 7 yo to camp snoopy and he had a blast.
Winterfest is amazing. All the lights are so beautiful . it really puts you in the holiday spirit . They have the biggest tree when come through the gates . Christmas lights everywhere you look . We will definitely go back. Going to be our new family tradition.
Magical good place to visit and full of attractions
First 60 minutes of day waiting for them to fix our locker. I had to BEG for a refund. One train running on all coasters in morning. Afternoon brought out two trains so TWICE as many people could be sitting do nothing. They didnt have train ready to go till the coaster made it all way around....and then more....no sense of urgency worst theme park i've ever been to. Adventureland had more care and pep in their step than this place.
My family and I genuinely had fun and enjoyed our experience. We've never been but came up from Tulsa for a small vacation. They went out of their way to make sure the rides were constantly being wiped down between runs. Wait times were really short and it seemed as if we almost had the park to ourselves, I'm sure the COVID did help in this area. There was plenty of help and they weren't understaffed. We did have to wear our masks at all times except in designated "relaxation areas" and most guests seemed to follow this guideline. One of my only complaints is that we had purchased the free refill souvenir cups and you can get a refill every 15 mins, they keep track by scanning the code on the cups, but then would some places would make us use our refill scan even if it was just ice water. With the heat we were getting refills of water quite often and it was a bummer having to wait 15 mins to get more water when they would give ice water away for free to anyone who came up and asked. Twyla at the "Nile" water ride was super nice and helpful. We would definitely come back though and look forward to our return.
Almost as much fun as Six Flags. Lots of good rides. I love the roller coasters. My wife liked the carousel.
We head a blast. Went on a Sunday afternoon and was a very small crowd. Have great perks if you are a gold member. My advice would be pay the extra to be gold member!!
Need more signage, more shade, more benches, more inner tubes, more spaces in VIP Parking lots, and more employees who actually care.
Had a memorable day with my whole family!! Had such a great time, we are planning to get season tickets for next year!
Worlds of Fun is an awesome place!!! Great family rides!! The Fury of the Nile is the best. You do a great job of keeping the place looking nice!! WinterFest is awesome!! The lights, shows, rides, and the shopping is awesome!! You did a great job with the details. Please keep taking pride with the park and improving it because it's one of KC' s treasures!!
I haven't been to worlds of fun in years I will say it took me back to when I was a kid. The main issue I have is the high food and the jump in line passes. I think so many per trip should be able to jump... if there is 30 people they will let all 30 jump the line and that's not fair
Went on a Saturday, most of the rides were down (all the decent rides) due to power failure. So we ended up waiting in long lines for the less desirable things such as bumper cars and other typical fair rides. In addition to fast passes causing overly extensive wait times, the employees were allowing each other to skip ahead and ride free. This wouldn't be as frustrating of a problem if it were a normal day, all rides functioning. But on this day, half the rides were down. Give the paying customers priority! Employees can ride any other day of the week. Park is run down, needs a lot of maintenance and fresh paint. Employees are extremely inexperienced. Lines for food and beverage took way too long due to inability to properly manage time and resources. Will not be back any time soon.
Went for Halloween event bit lines are incredibly long. 2hr wait...
Severely overcrowded was there most of the day and was only able to ride maybe 12 rides. Over an hour wait on most rides.
Cool place some good rides we have been many times and my favorite time to go is during october fest
We had some problems... food prices are high 50 dollars for 3 people crazy.... water isn't free 19 dollars for a 5 bottles?!? Ride got shut down when we got to front of line very sad but will go back
Okay themepark basically no crowds on sunday the dinosaur exhibit is a ripoff and we bought two tickets for it...turns out that the attraction was just open for anyone the day we went yet we where still sold tickets for it the day of most of the sun is where broken and falling apart. The roller coasters really need a update as there are very few good ones in the park...
One star for each roller coaster we waited for in line for over an hour before they broke down right as we were about to get on.
It was very fun in lovely not too much crowds. Love their new attraction the carnival. Would definitely recommend going during the summer on cool days.
We come every year around Halloween and it's the greatest experience ever!!!
Always have a great time. Here on a Tuesday in July, short waits for almost every big ride!
Have not been in years and Worlds of Fun did not disappoint. Have to wear a mask in the park but that is now normal for pretty much everywhere. Lines were not that long at all for how nice the weather was.
Always a blast! I feel it is important to let everyone know that even though the website says the park opens at 10 am the rides do not open until 1030am for gold pass members and 11am for everyone else.
Bought a season pass this year so I can spend time with my daughters and to help them get over the fear of rollercoaster
A delightful amusement park. What you would expect from a place not in Florida aka the big parks. The atmosphere is not very well themed, but the rides are fun and it's nice to have both worlds of fun and oceans of fun included in the ticket. The food and parking are expensive but that's what you need to expect from an amusement park!
