Great market with good prices and good location but the security guys is weeeird! He followed me around the store and wasn't Willing to open the bathroom door so I could use it

I'm a regular shopper at Cost Plus got what I wanted and few extra treats! That's why I like shopping - there never know what treasures await!

good selection of products from all over the world, nice staff, also small packages available which are nice to take on a plane ride

Check out one person, but there are 9 people waiting in line, so slow!

They sell vegemite. That's all that needs to be said

It's a mall. I can't give a mall 5 stars, however fab they are. It goes against my religion. My religion is the environment and is anticapitalist , as much as capitalism is responsible for making products cheaply not built to last, built to sell, encouraging a wasteful consumer. That said, if I could give this place 5 stars, they've earned it. Some seriously interesting art and housewares well made and homemade. The usual foreign comfort foods, and at festive occasions. GREAT for the seasons. My mom used to bring me here in a stroller...so, I love this place, tho it's changed. I come for nostalgia, for the special food things I only get when I travel to the locations. This particular location is great. Plenty of parking, easily accessible, fun part of town, access to other useful and fun things, take a cable car to/from! pop into the Hyde Street Pier, check out the world famous, awarded and FREE historic waterfront museum, then have an Irish Coffee. eat in North Beach. It's always a good day when you have a Cost Plus Fisherman's Wharf day. ( If I'm not mistaken, they're original location historically..60s70s, tho not the original building)

This the original Cost Plus World Market. The whole chain grew from this location.

Cost plus world market i a fabulous store located at the fisherman,s wharf area of San Francisco. You could furnish your whole home with just this store. I went in to by some cushions and ended up buying a outdoor hammock. They also have a good selection for wine, beer, champagne. foods from around the world. The staff could not have been nicer very friendly. and helpful. They do have parking right outside the door. Hours Mon-Sat 10a-9p, Sun 10.30-7Pm. Good choice!!!!

got all my furniture from this place. Sofas cheap but better than IKEA

A great place to go for both a great choice of products. Especially useful to be able to buy products from both Europe and Australia whilst in the area for work. The staff were really helpful and gave some good advice on the local area and where I could get some items they did not have.

They have exellent products but be prepared to wait long line to chexk out. They only hire slow people or what...always wait pretty long.

Great typical collection of imported goods that you would find at cost plus. Just a minutes walk from fishermans wharf.

Superb collection of items on sale plus limited amount of eatables . Excellent ambience and lovely ,friendly ,Pro active staff.

It is the only store where I actually enjoy browsing without a purpose - I honestly don't know what it is about World Market that captivates me so. Part of it is the awesome assortment of international food and drink imports (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) - specifically PG Tips, my British tea of choice (avoid the American-packaged version - there is a difference!). Beyond the consumables, there is the mish-mash of furniture, kitchenware, and truly random doodads that you likely won't find in stores similar to World Market. I think it's all of these things that keep me coming back.

Love Cost Plus. Brought my tourist friend. She even found SF Keychain for friends back home for bargain prices. Love to food choices, love the candle choice, love the wine and accompaniment choices, love the kitchen accessories. The prices are especially appealing.

Good store to shop for living room furniture, dinning room furniture, office furniture, bedroom furniture - from a wide variety of designs. Their collection of rugs includes Area, Wool, Natural fiber rugs. They have solid curtains, patterned curtains as well. World Market has been the destination of choice for unique floor tapestries for more than 50 years.

The place is cool land classy, is like a small department store, you can find a lot of stuff here.

Interesting and fun items. Should have a power cart available for shopping.

If you're looking for a variety of cookies, snacks and other food from across the world, this is the place for you! The prices on them are very fair too. I can't say the same about the larger furniture prices. An assortment of wine, drinks and various kitchen utensils are available too. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The staff is very nice as well.

This is my second time at this store the first time I spent $200 my second time I came in with a mask on because my inmune system gets compromised. The security immediately stopped me and asked me to remove my mask I explained to him my situation and he told me he needs to see my whole face, I said To him if I have to remove my mask I will have to leave and he said: ok ... so if you wanna wear a mask this store will not allow you in!!! It s so sad that I was discriminated by my condition and because I want to take precautions about my health!!

Well laid out clean store with helpful/ attentive staff . Love this one in particular as there a bit .ore laid back . Just a bit sorry they no l longer have the comprehensive kitchen items that once dominated

Impulse buys while on vacation. We craved sweets and they had plenty to choose.

This is a shopping bazaar if you like unique International products. You can get furniture, spices, exotic food, and kitchen ware. It is very much like a Pier 1, except Cost Plus seems to carry more products.

I bought a piece of heavy furniture online to pickup. Michelle at the register was helpful and kind. Lorenzo went above and beyond. He wheeled out the heavy box and took it to the parking garage for me. Then he proceeded to help me get it to fit in the back of my small car, saying he likes to play Tetris! He was so patient and helpful! He really went above and beyond!

It was so good to stop by and see their imported goods. A lot smaller than others I ve been to, but granted it s the Bay Area. Took a friend here for their first time and they really enjoyed it. Good spot for a little shopping.

Great shop for unique items. They carry a wide variety of wines, gifts and home goods. Gorgeous colors and accessories as well.

This location was featured in the 1973 Clint Eastwood film "Magnum Force". Nice to see it's still there.

Stumbled upon this store while exploring the Fisherman s Wharf area. It s better than any souvenir store. Food and dinnerware and decorative items from all over the world. Can get lost here for hours.

My other favorite place to buy something beautiful and a reasonable price.

Cashier need to work on their customer service skills.
And why are bathrooms closed to customers?
And why won't they give you a code to open but instead send security to open door for you?

We have been shopping here since the 70s. It is close to Fisherman's Wharf and has cheaper parking than places closer. They even validate and have a restroom.

Love World Market! Sign up for their emails and you can pretty much always get away with a discount. I love this location bc there's free garage parking (if you get stamped). It's spacious and the service is always friendly.

I love this place! My parents use to take me here when I was a kid to get rice candy! Great memories

Great for stocking stuffers and interesting food. I get my favorite foreign candies here.

Always something to peruse here. They have so much stuff and I love going to browse especially since they allow dogs in the store. Decent wine selection, pretty limited on beer though.

A lot of novelty stuff. However, I wouldn't go there for regular shopping.

Store recently began to allow in-store shopping once coronavirus restrictions were lifted in San Francisco. They have always had a variety of different products from what you would find at other stores. It appears they are clearing out merchandise at 25 to 50% off at this time.

Excellent market to buy world merchandise! Have Indian, middle eastern, Asian, name it!
Look for the things on sale too!!

Have loved this place since I was a kid! No matter what the season or what the occasion, you can always find something fun and interesting!

Good selection of merch. Staff were friendly, but the checkouts were slooooow. They had 2 registers open with both cashiers tired up with complicated orders. The lineup got to about 10 people in line before they opened another register.

Cost Plus is an amazing place, with so much to see when you enter this market from international foods to wine, craft beer to home furnishing and accessories. They stock so much interesting stuff, that it' was such a pleasure to have a mooch around here. We bought some interesting items for our picnic lunch. We have nothing like this in Sydney
