Went a couple months ago and never got around to posting a review. Very COVID conscious which I appreciate. Temperature checks and must wear a mask when the waiter is at the table. Food was excellent. Outdoor patio area very nice. Get the pizza and the potato wedges for sure. Thank you for a great experience
The food was slow in delivery. We waited 40 minutes plus between appetizer plates being picked up and the main course being served. The price for 3 who shared 2 appetizers abd 2 mains with two cocktails was $217.00. $35 for a vegan burger with zero sides is overpriced.
Our bill for three 3 course meals with 4 cocktails the next night at a posh French restaurant with fabulous service was only $10 more.
Went to the restaurant twice. Both times, they served on chipped plates. First time I went (1st pic) I did speak to our waiter and pointed out how obvious that was for the kitchen staff or the person serving the food to not to have caught that. The second time this happened, I did not say anything. Just a note to myself to not to go back to the restaurant. I expected higher standard from this place.
Superb presentation. Each dish was distinctively well-executed. The steak tartar, pizza, and ethiopean-spiced roasted baby chicken were my favorites.
Upscale restaurant with a nice indoor dining room as well as outdoor dining courtyard in a romantic setting. Large menu to choose from. Good service. The Ethiopian chicken we had there was amazingly tasty and the pizza was great also. The pork chop was undercooked however.
This was one of the top 10 meals I've had in my life. Every item was a highlight, but if I had to pick, it would be the scarlet runner beans confit--literally a bowl of beans, and yes, you will be blown away by them. The wine list is also extremely outstanding. The prices begin in the low $60s--but these are bottles that are worth it. Can't wait to return.
Great menu, relaxed atmosphere, and excellent safety measures for anyone still iffy on dining out. (They even took temperatures at the door.) The selection of drinks is impressive, and all of the food we tried was wonderful, from the small plates (beets & citrus!) to the pizzas (long bean is amazing) and other entrees, to the delicious desserts (lemon meringue cake). Highly recommended.
One word to describe this restaurant is 'Arrogant'. Wait staff made it feel like they were doing us a favor taking care of our table. Cocktails were great. Took over an hour from the time we ordered to receive appetizers. Appetizers and main courses were average. Definitively not worth the inflated prices. The Farm and Spencer's are much better options in the area.
P.S. And they automatically add a 20% tip for a table of six and add an additional 4% as a tip for the kitchen staff. Nice idea but you don't see it until the bill arrives. They should increase the price of each dish instead of surprising guests.
