1st time there sat the bar was really good.,had Italian beef with fries. Wings, a breakfast meal two.very good.

I was legit surprised by the food quality. I ordered the shrimp scampi expecting it to not be anything crazy good. Mediocre if best. Holycrap was I wrong. The noodles actually had a ton of flavor and the shrimp was fresh. Server was nice and accommodating as well.

Best spaghetti ever, sorry mom.

Skirt steak as an option for the salads, mainly the Caesar, would be great.

Ordered a burger and pizza to go. Everything was hot and just as you would receive it if they were open.

I have never been to a place where I bought dinner and tried to leave at closing before all of the college kids and literally alMost got strip searched. I was trying to leave and they made me open my jacket pockets and take my jacket off saying had to show all my pockets. Poor customer service after you tried to charge a cover to eat food

Had a great experience at Moretti s Sunday night. Perfect location for outdoor dining. Terrific food and service.

Wow! This place is always crowded! I can't even get a reservation online. The Barringtonites need another Moretti's in the neighborhood. Or maybe even Lou Malnatti's restaurant? 1.5 hour wait on a Friday evening without reservation! That's just way too long! Especially if I'm just coming for pizza. Been here once on the first week they opened; excellent atmosphere for dining. The food... it's the same as other Moretti's restaurant; it's good. I go to Moretti's mainly for the pizza; I don't think it's worth the wait on a prime day of the week (Friday / Saturday night). The crowd will probably die down over time. As for now, I can't even get a reservation online! They're always fully booked. It s the reason I give them 3 stars; if the wait isn t soooo long, I d give them 4 stars because of the well done interior atmosphere.

Good food but the service was messy. The juice for my Italian beef was spilled over everything.

Three of us went there for lunch and to get back in touch. The waitress understood and was attentive to our needs and our slower than normal lunch. Two thumbs up!

My mom and I ordered pizza last night form here and it was great as always. A small is the perfect size for her and I. We love them!

We went there as a family group of 8 adults and 4 kids. It all started with slow service no fault of the server, she was not trained for it,she had no support,no manager .She was trying very hard but kitchen was not doing very good either,orders were all mixed up.Kids were given pizza to make but never got them back cooked,kids were very sad .
My take was they have opened a big place but were not prepared for it,everything was very far away,just going back to get a glass was along walk.Food was good but not prepared as ordered.

Renovated the entire place to a new spacious indoors with proper social distancing. Choice of beer is good. Burger was juicy and tasty. Parking area is plenty.

Great tasting pasta dishes and generous portions! Delicious thin crust, and I don't even like thin crust pizza!

Awesome food everytime. Great atmosphere. Last night I had the rustic penne, which has chicken, shrimp and sausage in a creamy sauce with a little kick. Nice.

Love the pizza, best thin crust pizza around, minestrone soup was excellent, it had a nice variety of delicious vegetables, salads are great particularly the ensalada with tomatoes cucumbers avocado and hearts of palm with a light lemon and olive oil dressing. Prices are pretty good, they have half-priced Pizza on Tuesdays and a $10 Pizza on Thursdays, especially like their mushroom pizza it has a perfect amount of mushrooms on it. In my opinion on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 10

at beginning of phase 4, when we asked for outdoor seating, hosts led us to indoor seating in a room with windows open next to the balcony. top notch experience before covid. however, this is enough to spook us away from future dining out until the pandemic is over.

Outstanding food ,service, value and atmosphere. Our server Terry went the extra mile.It was my granddaughters birthday and it could not have been better. My old favorite supper club closed, the Villa Bleu, I've now found a new favorite place.

Its the Moretti overall receipe. Good food, broad menu, friendly competent employess. Good menu; good pizza.

I've been to a couple other Moretti's in the past so am familiar with the menus. Food has been always good and the Pizza is excellent. Beautiful building, it is huge and set up to accommodate a lot of people. Service is a bit lacking but this location is still new.

Wow! I haven't been to that establishment since it was Wool Street Inn! What a transformation! It was my very first time at a Moretti's! It was really busy and good service!

Great staff and amazing service. Food is excellent with a nice wide variety of draft beers.

I've had dinner at the Barrington Moretti's 4 times since it opened. It's always busy. The servers have always been sweet and attentive. I love the (3) tenderloin sandwiches. Much better open vibrant feeling than the old Wool St. Grill was.

Had the Italian beef and giardiniera pizza and was happily satisfied. Everything else has been pretty good too. They seem to hire great people as each time we've been there the staff has really stood out.

I love Moretti s, especially the Barrington location. I ve had nothing but incredible experiences with the food & friendly service. Highly recommend the grilled calamari, delicious. Great environment, food, service & family friendly. Definitely one of my go to restaurants.

We did an online order and they didn't give us what we ordered. Food was ok, but they didn't give the side of sauce for the calamari. Also, we requested plate settings and they didn't provide them.

We ordered, obviously times are longer due to covid, Ron dropped our order off and he s was welcoming and super friendly. Pizza was steaming hot! I said hold on changed his tip to 40%. Online orders lose the face to face interaction of an establishment and their values. Ron didn t miss a beat he was the best delivery personnel I ve had small talk, current event and left with a be safe. Thanks Ron you re the man 5/5 will order again

Excellent Classic Italian food. Specials offered are very flavorful, with large portions. Good atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, and plenty of newer, large screens to catch the latest games on.

This place is awesome! The service from when we walked in the door til we left was awesome! They were so good with our kids and very friendly. We ve ordered pizza, apps, sides, desserts and all were fantastic!

Very disappointing. Food was decent, staff performance was not good. Also, I believe the tables were set too close together with COVID on the rise again.
The service issue seemed to be that they were understaffed. Our waitress was nice but quite harried. We had a request of three items after the meal was served. She came by, got the first request but literally ran off before we finished our request. The same thing happened when we got a word in to request the second item. Again, it seemed like the waitress was competent but there was a definite lack of staff organization. She did many things that should have been handled by bus people or perhaps hostess.
Overall, the meal was not worth what we paid . I will probably not go back to this establishment.

They have the best gluten free pizza around. My favorite is the Moretti's BBQ special.

The Barrington location sets the standard for Moretti's All the food is excellent - try the grilled calamari! Super clean and C-19 responsible, the servers were very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Excellent experience all around.

Italian meets sports bar. Just went there with my wife. She had a Mediterranean Wrap and I had the Brick Chicken. The chicken was fantastic! Very tender and juicy (in fact, I wish there was some bread to get to the last little bit of that juice, it was that good!). My wife also enjoyed her wrap.
Service was very good in spite of a relatively busy night. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Everything came in a timely fashion and we had just enough time for some pleasant conversation.
My only complaint is that Moretti's doesn't decide if it wants to be a sports bar, or a family restaurant, or a traditional Italian restaurant. I personally would have preferred not to have all the TV's as a distraction. Maybe others would love the ambiance. Perhaps different areas would accommodate different tastes within the same restaurant? They just expanded the building to open here and certainly have the space.
In any case, it was a very enjoyable dinner and we do plan to be back. We had the wrap, the chicken, and a draft beer and spent $40 and change, before tip.

Good. Decor is nice. Kids meal is a little fancy for my liking. I prefer Woolstreets.

Picked-up dinners for hubby and me. Excellent meals, generous portions, enjoyed leftovers for lunch the next day.

Design of this place was well thought out. Bar location is superior.

Very unique store. Big main island bar. A cool speakeasy bar in the basement. And another wall ball upstairs near the banquet room. Food was delicious, beers were cold, service was prompt, and the bears won! How can I complain?

Have gone in 5 times and have had horrible service 5 times. Good food everything else is a waste of time. Go somewhere that values your money (FARMHOUSE, CIAO BABY, CHESSIE'S)

I have been to a couple of Moretti's and they never disappoint. The food and service are excellent. The Moretti's in Barrington has a fun vibe and great atmosphere.

Love the atmosphere! Staff was very friendly, they took a moment to show my boyfriend and I around the place, as we have never been to this location. The food was phenomenal, I ordered Angel Hair Pomodoro and it was exactly what I was craving. Highly reccomend, will be bringing my family here once they open back up.

The decor is a that of a sports bar more than an Italian restaurant, but...that's what they're going for. I've been here before for a beer with friends and it's a great place to meet with a huge selection of beers. But don't be fooled into thinking that this place is JUST a sports bar. I went here with my 86 year old full-blooded Italian father. He's a man who LOVES to eat and grew up in an Italian market surrounded by Italian friends and family who knew how to cook. So dad ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce, with both a meatball and a link of sausage (I ordered the same). And here's a WHOPPER of a compliment from a cranky old Italian man...He said repeatedly: "This is the best spaghetti and meatballs I've ever had!" I agree...it was really good. I don't remember having better. But to hear my dad say that repeatedly and mean it? Well...hats off to Moretti's!

Wow. New place is so awesome inside. Food surprised me. Everyone there is so nice especially the hostess McKenna.

We are new to area and decided to order a pizza for dinner. They gave us a 10 minute delivery window. When the pizza failed to arrive we called to find out the status. The person who answered seemed unconcerned that it had been more than an hour since we placed the order and said it was on its way. 10 minutes later we received a call asking if the order had arrived. When I said no they replied, Great! . And made some statement about not wanting to send out 2 delivery drivers. ? The pizza finally arrived, 25 minutes after the delivery window. Cold and congealed. We won t be ordering from them again.

Very nice food and updated decor. Plenty of diners when I was there so the atmosphere was nice and busy.

Great food and pizza. Unfortunately we had a pizza order that went on a roller coaster ride. It arrived cold and smashed. John offered us a credit towards our next order which I was fine with. The only issue was the next time that I ordered I didn t get my credit promised? I called the restaurant and they told me that Moretti s isn t capable of issuing a refund so I need to place a 3rd order and hope that the person who is processing payment actually reads the notes? It all sounds like a logistical nightmare and has been a complete waste of my time.

best bang for your buck pizzas and amazing atmosphere. private parties in the second floor were large enough to accommodate with plenty of room for a great time.

Food, entertainment, and atmosphere were good. Server acted like it was a race to get us out.

We dined in at Moretti's in Barrington last night for the half price pizza. It tasted like cardboard with literally no seasoning or sauce on it. Very disappointing. Also, we wanted to dine outside but the patio looked bleak and uninviting. The umbrellas were all down, no space heaters for warmth. Literally every restaurant has these now so we assumed they would have them as well.

This is the first time seeing the lack of a nice outdoor venue. Also. Please let your servers know it's not ok to come up to the table ten times asking if we need something. It was so intrusive on our conversation, privacy. And social distancing. And in the time of Covid sooo unnecessary ...

The space and food are great. We have been several times and have not had great service either time. We are hoping that they will work out those links as they are open longer.

Great place; food is first rate - the only place I like thin crust pizza and everything else is top notch too. I do wish they had more dark beer selections. Try getting in something like Rocktown Brown or a couple of the cask aged beers from Prairie Street Brewing in Rockford - no I do not work for PSB. :-)
